Finally got round to opening an account. Doesn't quite look like it's easy to win as you can only win 2 star players from the spin (which still costs "gold") but okay, am entering the free round on today's D group on free players to see how far it gets. Might give this a go for a week or two, but I do feel like all these player pack games end up being pay-to-win. Not that I'm against that, people do got to do what they got to do! No one else from forum plays this?

I will respectfully disagree. You can earn all the 2* cards pretty easily by taking part in the Euro on the Spin & Win. Also, you can just get them on lease for a season directly from the game.
Most of the cards in the game are 1* and 2*, so it's not hard to create a good draft.
Alternately, the 3*,4*, and 5* NFT cards are useful throughout numerous competitions and give you a better chance of winning XFC prizes.
And, there's even an option to lease out those cards for one match only.
In other words, it's a game that prizes skill and persistence above everything else! Hoping you enjoy it!
