This is so cogent enough in which it is a point that cannot be ruled out for anything except if and only of there are some certain reasons. As a matter of fact, ETHEREUM is of the best all-time and all-day  technology when it comes to crypto and I am  really in support of it.If the POS implementation finally set in, It's gonna be superb. ETH all the way Cos the Menace are adopting it graciously.

Ethereum is my best bet for now. Very reliable and convenient, not to mention the low price. I'm planning to hold my ETHER coins after chozun 途赞 sale and wait for a raise in the future.

HODLing is an art, not just a word...
sometimes some damages can not be undone.

in case of ethereum the damage is already done. the blockchain is already too huge and out of hand which has increased the centralization of  ethereum. nobody is going to buy a 2 TB hard disk to dedicate 1.2 TB and growing of it to run a ETH node. that means it will be centralized to one or two places which can be run by the government even. and that gives them full control.

"Sleep? What's this word you talk about?"

It's safe to say ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin's joke during the first day of EDCON, an ethereum developer conference now taking place in Toronto, had some truth to it, both for himself and the developers who took the stage with him to discuss one of the $76 billion blockchain's toughest challenges: scaling.

In contrast to the day's more cheery asides, the discussion, featuring Vlad Zamfir, Philip Daian, Joseph Poon, Karl Floersch, Hsiao-Wei Wang and Justin Drake, struck a comparatively restrained note, one that was perhaps sobered by the sheer weight of the scaling challenges ahead.

These challenges were on full display six months ago when the platform was brought almost to a halt by the viral popularity of CryptoKitties, a decentralized application for trading digital kittens. More recently, though, even Buterin acknowledged the issue at an event in Seoul, South Korea, saying app developers were "screwed" because of the protocol's current scale.

However, it was a point noted prominently at EDCON as well, with Zamfir, the developer behind ethereum's upcoming consensus algorithm change, giving another prominent voice to the doubts.

Yes, the issue of scaling or scalabilty is one of the most prominent issues in the blockchain technology, many developers are finding ways of solving this very important huddle in the payment service ecosystem. So the issue is worth discussing in the EDCON conference.

Talking about offchain scaling solution, Hubii just launched Striim on test net. 40 smart contracts and some 14 thousands lines of code, it seems to be aimed to businesses to utilize it. Thoughts on it? On the whitepaper they compare it to plasma and raiden explaining why in their view it will prevail on those.

It really is just a matter of time. If you invested in ethereum then you shouldn't be scared and you can rest easy because you have actually invested in possibly one of the best coins that the cryptocurrency market has to offer. The coin is being developed in different ways and the team behind it are dedicated to finding new ways to make ethereum bigger and better, all we as investors have to do is to be patient.

we know why ethereum can be so great, it's because ethereum has a great and brilliant developer. ethereum also has fans and a solid community that always provides support. no doubt, if you say this is only a matter of time and when the time comes then the ethereum can explode.

Nothing is perpetual in the sector of economy. It is always changing and will continue the change. But yes, scaling is just a matter of time. Algorithm change might be the time of the scaling. Roll Eyes

Yeah the issue is being heard for some times. But a lot of developments are happening in Ethereum. So, I believe the issue will be solved soon. And not that there’s no solution for it. The article seems an interesting one, btw. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Not only scalling but remember about POS casper too. Make ethereum will be so far from the inflation and that's it. Dannyryan and others are working with vitalik and ethereum core developer to prepare the POS update which has already written in EIP1011. Ethereum is the future.
