For Honor is bringing a new update later this year, adding Chinese warriors to its current ranks of knights, samurai and vikings. To promote the update, For Honor is currently free, for a week, for PC users.
For Honor: Marching Fire is coming out on October 16, featuring fighters from the Wu Lin faction including a wily general, a knife-wielding bodyguard, a warrior monk and a broadsword fighter. The update will include a new 4v4 PvP mode called Breach, in which attackers try to storm a castle, while defenders do their best to hold fast. You can watch how the new mode works in the video below.
For Honor is a medieval-style combat game, released last year for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. In Polygon’s review, we described it as “well-made, gorgeously presented and a stout challenge.” Publisher Ubisoft says For Honor is also being graphically enhanced for the update.
The free offer for the PC versions runs through June 18. You can find out more here.
