I own and run BarterCoin here http://barter-coin.com/ I made the coin ages back and every man and his dog keep trying to use my name for the coin its so bloody annoying..... So now everyone knows here too lol, and BTW IT is not for sale trust me
One obligatory bump. 
I had this dream of starting a coin that would be marketed to small business owners, rather than this forum alone. A bartercoin would be valued at $7.75 (the current US minimum wage) and could be traded for an hour of work. The general idea was what would cost you a bartercoin today (gardening, shovelling snow, balancing books) would cost you a bartercoin in the future, regardless of what happened to the US currency.
I don't have the ability or time to program this coin (I am going offline this summer to sail around North America) so I'm going to give up the domain.
