just wondering...

why is it announced here as €59.95 and on the webshop sold for €79.95 ?

Does your woocommerce support EU business numbering to drop VAT between EU country trading?

Tried the chat but didn't get any response there altho it said someone was online.
That's why I posted it here.

When the sidehack Pod Miner https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/who-likes-pod-miners-1845307 is ready development, is it possible to make Pod Miners available for sale in Europe?

Are you a collector specifically looking to get an EU version, or just someone in the US who can't locate one of the dozen-odd resellers of the regular stick?

c'mon  ... from30 USD to 60 EUR ... are you serious?

Whenever there is a new miner offered, this nasty discussion about pricing and calculation starts over.

Once and for all: If one wants to offer a miner in EU commercially legitimate and legally conformant, the following mandatory cost-relevant things have to be taken into account:
Import turnover tax, import duty (correctly declared), import freight, WEEE registration fees, WEEE duties, packaging directive registration, packaging directive provider fees, repackaging, PE cover, fulfilment provider fees, shipping charges (free shipping).
Not taken into account: merchandise management system, tax consultancy, website and shop operations, warranty and return efforts, etc.

If batch numbers would be 10k or more, these costs can be treated insignificant but not for small batch sizes like this.
If you still think I'll get filthy rich with this community offer, you're naive.

...and yes I am serious.

no need to carry heavy money bags anymore
But I wouldn't have sold to you.

Mac paid upfront for the whole order, and paid shipping to Germany, and any import taxes, and it looks like he's also providing a nifty padded case for them, plus that sales price includes shipping.
I understand it's a business. All the work around the shipping, duty and other paperwork .... ok, higher price was expected but this is too much IMO.

BTW I could have used e.g. shipito so you would be delivering them to US address

I should have bought them directly from sidehack (and support him instead of you). Lesson learned.
Even shipping every piece individually would be cheaper I guess.

Beginning of this week the official EU version of the GekkoScience 2Pac Stick Miner arrived.
Thanks to sidehack (who produced a dedicated EU batch of 2Pacs) there is now a significant number of sticks available for sale in Europe.
Currently they will get packed and shipped to my fulfilment provider. Sales will open when this is done.

This is what I'm talking about: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/gekkoscience-2paccompac-bm1384-stickminer-official-support-thread-1764803

I'll offer the GekkoScience BM1384 USB stick miner first via https://www.bitshopper.de and later as well on Amazon Europe (DE, UK, FR, ES, IT).

What's the difference to GekkoScience's original US stick:
it's manufactured by GekkoScience especially for EU conformity and comes completely with a black PCB and a white custom silkscreen to cover EU legal requisites.

The stick will be sold for 59,95 EUR including shipping to the following countries:

Austria
Belgium
Bulgaria
Cyprus
Czech Republic
Germany
Denmark
Estland
Finnland
France
Greece
Hungaria
Ireland
Italy
Latvia
Lithuania
Luxemburg
Malta
Netherlands
Poland
Portugal
Romania
Sweden
Slovakia
Slovenia
Spain
United Kingdom

To qualify for free shipping, use the following coupon when ordering via the webshop: bitxo-2pac-free-shipping-2017

Buyers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein don't have to pay VAT but have to cover shipping cost and customs clearing, which is 15,79 EUR. The shipping procedure outside the EU is "delivered duty unpaid" (DDU). This means that the carrier will charge customs duties, VAT and customs clearance fees directly when they deliver the parcel.

Sales will start around May 1, 2017 if everything will arrive in time. Product will be unlocked in the shop when everything will be ready.

Shipping will be performed by Amazon as fulfilment provider - don't wonder if you receive a parcel from Amazon even if ordered via webshop.

So far for the moment - feel free to PM me if you have further questions.
