Guys I couldn't give merit for I am also one of those who struggle earning it, what I can give is a sort of moral support, for I know many here lose hope of ranking up because they failed to get merit after doing their best in constructing "quality post".
Just imagine this guys, when we rank up and become a "member" at least, opportunity to earn from signature campaigns can surely help us on our finances, try reading and continue learning, the higher rank we get in, the more chances of earnings.
Continue working hard and don't give up, rewards are coming for those who never stop trying.

Merit was designed to stop people like you from ranking up.

Don't encourage bounty spammers to continue to crap all over the board. Encourage them to fuck off, and let this become a crypto discussion forum, and not a bounty hunters cesspit.

Am new too but structuring your topic to merit as must get is not good to me ,cos if we have a mindset of getting merit and not really learning from one topic to other and contributing our quote for people to get more knowledge, then I don't think the merit would be achieve , I believe you just need to relax and learn from every post and share your knowledge and through this you will definitely achieve your aim .

You remind me of the guy who walks along the street looking for pennies to pick up, and as a result he fails to see the advertisement offering him a well paid job.

That's quotable.

If your main intention to be here on bitcointalk is to make money, then you might as well stop right now anyway. The making-money aspect of bitcointalk should only be a sort of "plus" anyway for people who actively share their ideas and converse here in this forum.

I was tempted to put you on ignore for that post. You shouldn't be here to try to scratch coins from the efforts of the established members.

Earning merit would be easy if you just have enough knowledge. I cannot blame that most hunters now are eager to earn merits and ranked up. Dont rush things, learn more first not just create quality post, knowledge is more important than merits or anything else in my opinion,

Ranking up in this website is not only about joining signatures. Even so, signatures offer a minimum price if you are less than Legendary, so to achieve this goal is kind of difficult. Besides, taking a look at your posting activity, you use to write in megathreads and your posting activity adds nothing of value to the forum (I was looking for a good topic of yours so I can give you any merit, but I found nothing). Some examples:

Yes I am positive that bitcoin price will recover eventhough  it is unpredictable when will happen, lets just wait alittle.

Ethereum is very promising but i dont thing it will surpass bitcoin, maybe the value the etherium quite high than bitcoin but still bitcoin was the first crytocurrency and bitcoin continue to inovate and solve all its disavantages.

Government of other country declaring war against cryptocurrencies simply because they cannot control it, and they cannot collect taxes on cryptocurrencies

And it goes and goes on. If all your topics are made just for gaining activity, you are not going to rank-up. This is nice for you to offer some "moral support", as you said, but, why don't you start by yourself? By giving an example?

There are many newcomers which were able to rank-up fast due to their awesome posting activity. You can learn from them. For instance, take a look at the posting activity of those users:
- DdmrDdmr, his posts are awesome, and he has earned 305 merit points in about 5 months: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/ddmrddmr-1582324
- Sncc, another great user, he has earned the same: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/sncc-1560793

I don't mean you must copy their posting style, but just take a look at their posts and how they put tons of effort in them. Now, compare it with your own activity and you will be able to understand what I mean.
Encouraging people to rank-up in order to earn some money is unhealthy to the forum and also for them, for if you are here with the only goal of have some economical retribution you are going to feel desperate pretty soon. This is a place in where you can learn a LOT  about many things, where the people are willing to help others, for FREE.
Isn't that enough? Merits will come with time, as long as you do your best in writing constructive, informative, creative posts.

I support your thinking and have nothing against it. I just wanted to advice the OP that if he joined bounty social media campaigns, then still he should continue to make constructive posts and the merits would come eventually.

Yeah, that's true I never meant it to be mutually exclusive anyway.

I meant balance between posting on just bounty threads and other constructive threads. Sorry, if my statement was not clear originally.

This is also not mutually exclusive, you still can do both at the same time. Still doing constructive post in every post count.
No need to apologize, bro. All is well.

I'm replying to this simply because you're quoting my statement and falsely interpret it.
1. None of my statement stated that he/she should only post on bounty threads and not create constructive posts. What I tried to say is that just to take a break and chill.

2. Balance what? shitposting and serious posting?

If you constantly think how to get the merits, you from precisely will not receive. Simply communicate on the forum, share useful information, answer the questions of newcomers and merit itself will come to you! Good luck!

That's what supposed to be happening, it's kinda confusing me eventually but I know I'll get merits if I share useful and interesting information.

You are partly correct with the fact that one can join social bounty campaigns if he's not eligible for signature campaigns yet but remember that only posting on bounty threads would not lead in increase of your post quality in any way and you might lose any potential merit points that you would have got if you posted constructively.-1
You must balance both of them-2, because signature campaigns provide opportunities to earn in bitcoins eliminating the risk of getting payed in new tokens.

Caution:
I didn't receive any merit yet.

For getting merit, we need to post with quality.

Why do we need merit? of course, for ranking up.
Why do we need to rank up? For more earning? Here the problem is, we need to change our mindset. If our only focus is to do some signature campaign, and that's why we need ranked account, we will never be able to rank up.

Take bitcointalk as a forum where people can gather knowledge about crypto, not a place where people can earn huge money.

I think your mindset is wrong in this case. You can participate in other types of campaigns, such as social media and creative media. The signature campaign is just not worth the reputation compared to payout (and risk) for a peasant like us.

And also without a linked account, it's impossible to rank up without doing something meaningful to the community. Just learn and create your best quality thread once a while when you have spare time. Just relax Smiley
