However, I'm having trouble mining the genesis block for the altcoin.
I've tried the Bitcoin and Litecoin method to mine them(delete old merkel hash, get new ones, then add some code to mine genesis blocks, replace them and also remove checkpoints), but after compiling with make, I just get assertions by the qt-console still wanting the old merkel hashes and genesis blocks
If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be incredibly helpful.
Just suggest some new methods to hash them, point out if I missed anything, or link me to maybe a different procedure. (the more details the better)
