You can't compare the 2-term rule to the demand that family members of past presidents should be disqualified from running as candidates in the presidential election. Yes, you can. That was standard policy in many large corporations a few decades ago. At IBM in the 70's, if a male employee happened to meet its future wife among his colleagues, it was standard practice that she would have to leave the company before the 2 would be allowed to marry. That's close to the idea I'm defending here. Besides, I think the world has seen enough of Hilary and the Bush family.

Its all about money and how big the warchest of the candidates has grown to. So if you can think of some one running with a bigger warchest then the two,I would have to admit faulty in my thinking. Would also argue that what the majority of people do when it comes to voting is what they see the rest of the flock doing. For example:

"Wouldnt it be cool to have our first black President" (Past wave)
"Woudnt it be awesome to see a female as President" (Current wave)
"How about we break that transgender barrier" (Future wave)

Reality is most people are sheep,its in our genes to move like a flock.

Hopefully they'll die off. Find it hard to believe people would actually vote for another Bush or Clinton but sadly I think we're going to be stuck with one of them.

Opinion polls suggest otherwise. It is almost certain that Hillary Clinton will be the Democrat candidate for the POTUS election in 2016. And she is leading all the GOP contenders according to the opinion polls, including Rand Paul, Jeb Bush, Carson and Chris Christie. Right now, IMO, she is having something like a 90% to 95% chance of becoming the next POTUS.

He had to walk back his comment about sending troops into Iraq like his bro did via hindsight and took plenty of deserved flack over it. Now, he's talking about some military drawdown and I have no idea what he's talking about other than subtly saying he would intervene abroad and make more cannon fodder out of young men and women, just like his brother. This guy just can't wait to be the one calling the shots overseas w/ a large military at his ready.

We are talking about two families that have been running the Country for how long now? This ils the perfect place for a very select discrimination,you can not tell me these two families are the only ones that could run the Country.

Jeb Bush says America is on a "very bad course" and that he has decided what he is going to do about it. In a speech Monday afternoon in Miami, the former Florida governor says, "I am a candidate for president of the United States."

Bush gets into the race six months after saying he was considering a campaign. In his kickoff speech, he says Democrats are responsible for, quote, "the slowest economic recovery ever, the biggest debt increases ever, a massive tax increase on the middle class, the relentless buildup of the regulatory state, and the swift, mindless drawdown of a military that was generations in the making."

Bush says he is "not eager to see what another four years would look like under that kind of leadership."

The son and brother of former presidents, Bush is launching his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination at Miami Dade College.
