Fortnite has taken the gaming world by storm, breaking both concurrent player and streaming viewership records – and even attracting world-renowned celebrities. Unlike other Battle Royale titles, action can get underway in the first few seconds of the match starting, meaning it’s an enjoyable watch from start to finish. Huh
Yeah but we know that these numbers and hype wont really last forever and to know that Valorant is already soaring up high.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/paultassi/2020/04/12/should-fortnite-be-worried-about-valorants-meteoric-rise/#5a9138944766
https://www.newsbreak.com/news/1542731497550/riots-new-game-valorant-is-already-breaking-fortnites-records

I wont be surprised if it would be overtaken someday but wont really be that long.

I think Fortnite Betting is too impossible. It is simply just a rip-off from many shooting games such as CSGO and PUBG, only made different by planting walls and stairs made from resources on the map. I don't play the game as I found it not that addicting nor strategic at all, especially if you were looking for games that requires a good team play. Hence, I don't see it fit to be bet nor to have a good gambling market.
While some says Fortnite is much better as it's suitable to all age and clearer graphics than Pubg, there are some charts in google that tallies their popularity too but for sure it will depend on what player prefers to play. Betting part will happen when there will be maybe a set of groups or target audience or bettor, they will sure make research whenever that happens as many where into Mobile legends  and Dota betting than this 2.

I don't think Fortnite will win in popularity against other games. I guess its not that popular in my country. It sure became popular years ago but no streamers now in my country are still into Fortnite. Dota 2, moblie legends, pubg are the most streamed games here. I don't in any other country as well. Is popularity a need for an esports to really be included in the olympics? Well I think so.

I understand your view point. I must say that the popularity of Fortnite is not that absolute to everyone. Some really likes it, some do not. But I do agree that Esports should be taken into consideration on being part of the Olympics or some huge competition since during this "new normal" people are much inclined with online activities. However, when it comes to betting, I think that the Esports game involve should be popular and being participated by the many. As mentioned, Mobile Legends and Dota are some examples of popular games worldwide.

Same thing I don't like the game I don't see it enjoyable to play. Its simple game copying from pubg with adding other sources like building wall but the highlight is the same as other game, so I don't think it will be considered to add in any betting platform.

That was pretty and incredibly good that eSports are being recognized as a game worthy to be with an Olympic game. Well actually, I have already heard and watched the live stream of eSports played in the last ASEAN game held in the Philippines wherein Mobile Legends and Tekken have been one of those eSports being played to get along with the said event.

With regards to Fornite, the graphics are really incredibly good and enjoyable to play with which is no doubt that many gamers are getting fun on playing this game. Looking forward that like other MMORPG this game will soon get along into eSports betting events which will surely attract many gamers to bet on it.

Due to the pandemic that we currently have now I think one of the sports should be included in a sports betting site is eSports I'm familiar with the games Dota 2, CSGO, LOL, etc. but fortnite is something new I don't actually watch tournaments of a battle royal but I think this will be pretty interesting to see the team on where you place your bet to survive from other players.
Dota2 and CSGO are already in different betting platform so I guess fornite betting wants to have a unique and originality in their betting platform so they come up to the original plan on having the kinds of sports they had for betting. And we should not underestimate the sports they chose for betting because they had too vast fans and gamblers willing to bet in their platform. Pretty sure they can get huge on it as it seems that for now they had no competition with the sports they chose for betting.

Agree with you about respecting the game, fortnite has a lot of fans around the world and I think it can still do well in betting whether the graphics is good or not, or even thought its hard to bet about the winner cause it ain't like CS GO or Dota 2. I believe that it still has its audience. However, if we are talking about olympics here, I may see fornite as a good game but I still don't see it as game for the olympics, just an opinion.
If a game like chess is considered as worthy to join the olympics, I don't see why video games could not do the same. The only problem I see with video games is that Chess is an "intemporal" game. It hasn't changed for decades, while video games are always changing. So does it make sense to add video games, when we know that the games played today will not be the same as in 2 years and/or that players good at one game might be bad at others, etc ? I don't know, but it could be interesting to try.
Chess can also change in terms of rules but it is very rare. While a game who's been played for many hours are always changing to build up another strategy for defeating the enemy. Having a patch notes is the ways for avoiding the game being dead. Because online games aren't unique, they can be replaced by another game with the same concept whild Chess is the original, it will still exist because it's the origin of strategical games.

I like fortnite and it's a good game with good graphics. Since we're talking about bets, it's kinda hard to bet on which player who'll win in the game. Bettings on battle royale isn't effective, even the best player have the possibility to die at start if he don't have good loots. The chances of winning is very low since there are many players each game and it's not easy to be confident on someone you'll a bet on.

That's the challenge, that's why it is called a battle royal game because you need to survive and become the number 1 among other players. Fornite is a good game and putting it in an Esports betting game is probably effective and good. This game is very balance and no matter how good you are, if you die, you die. It is about aiming and I know that there are people who already played this game and get addicted to it.

But in reality, I'm not a fan of this Fortnite but I tried playing this.

Honestly, I'm an FPS fan and I play CS:GO which is already in an Esports betting sites.

Fortnite has a lot of potential to become the same with CS:GO when it comes to Esports Olympic.
Well, that kind of challenge isn't attractable to gamblers because it's difficult to bet on a game where there are many players. That's why battle royale games doesn't even pop up on popular gambling sites because it will just make the bettings very complex unlike CS:GO, a team vs team, red vs blue, not hard to choose where to bet.

That's why competitive match with fast-phase FPS game will be more amusing to gamblers like CS:GO & Valorant.

Look, guys, No matter how bad the graphics or the game itself, as long as it gathers fans all around the world to support the popularity of the Olympics and its sales. They will gonna add it for sure and this is not a problem at all since there's so many Fortnite players all around the world.
For the upcoming Tokyo Olympics in 2021, there will be lots of esports included and one of my favorites is Dota 2. I'm really excited to see those elite players competing with each other representing their own country.
Changes is inevitable and of course there are people whom do agree or disagree with such decisions. Some prefer on seeing actual physical sports and some do welcome on seeing e-sports.

All things will depend on association if they would consider Fortnite on next Olympics.Into those links given or shown above then it does have some contradicting statements but well in the end of the

day such decisions will be finalized. For me, i dont have any problems if they would add it up because it isnt really that bad to welcome such changes.

I have a great hopes that they're not so stupid to add Fortnite to Olimpics. Maybe one of the main reasons is that all "hyped" games of the past (most of them now in the deeps of Oblivion) was not added to Olympics. And even games like CS or LoL was not added to Olympics.

Fornite will be forgotten in few years, so there is no reasons to add it. Olympic council should have at least a little honor.

I see some contradictory statements here
Quote
With regard to electronic games simulating sports, the Summit sees great potential for cooperation and incorporating them into the sports movement
So the IOC is willing to be buddies buddies with those willing to licence their games for vidya, but won't bat an eye for eSports tournaments that draw millions in attendance and tens of millions in online audiences...

It's not an outright no to video games, but rather a no to video games they have no control over.

As long as the player numbers are increasing for Fortnite the chance are it will be become one of the dominant games also for betting.

For me personally I am a bigger fan of CSGO and really enjoy watching high level tournaments. There is a lot of strategy involved in 5v5 game play. Whereas in Fornite it's a lot more about reaction times, aiming and luck with which weapons you find.
As for me, fortnite as part of esports betting sites will never be good,

Yes it is a battle royal, it is all about surviving until the end of the game. But it is also about who will get a good or great item at the very start of the game. Even how good you are in playing, if you don't have a gun while your enemy does, you have no chance of surviving.

I am also a fan of CSGO, and if we see how it become part of esports is because skills are being tested on this game and all players are in equal footing at the start. Unlike in fortnite, the first one to pick a weapon will survive.

COD is more popular than Fortnite. even I think the new game pubg or pubg mobile is more popular than Fortnite and pubg often hosts tournaments, I think in near future it will be a big betting place. personally, I don't like to play Fortnite. but if they host an official tournament, and there is a place to bet, obviously I will bet on it.
In my country fortnite is quite popular, or I just assume it since in my place, office mates and some online friends we do play fortnite, but also plays pubg, dota and mobile legends. We'll maybe because fortnite is alike with pubg, and more traffic or players can get by other games that fortnite doesn't have yet, well will see in the future when esports expand more maybe even other simple games  can have a tournament.
I agree that COD is much popular, yet it is depends on what country you are. Here in our country COD is much popular than fortnite. I also do play fortnite but my team mates are from the other part of Asia. I would like to bet but I don’t know how. Can someone tell me how to bet in tournament most especially in a game like this.

well this claim made by IOC it is related to Dec 2019. Meanwhile my update has been released on Jun 2020.
The only difference that I can see (but is a big one) it's related to pandemic events.
Probably in the past it was something very strange to be discussed... nowadays appear very different an argument like this, and there are strong pressions!

Esports is a form of competitive sports but I dont think its related to the Olympics in a way that it should be included.   Its not really necessary even in a lockdown as this to directly link the two, an international competition specific to esports can be done without directly arguing for gold medals and the whole ceremony that goes with olympic trials like drug testing and various regulation.    The two arent related strongly enough to justify this where as the other activities such as skateboarding is all physical and be defined for records in some way.    I can remember Xgames including esports in Aspen, I thought that was ok but even this was controversial for including what some say is non physical, I think esports is a type physical competition but not the whole body obviously and mostly its about control obviously not the strength many sports require.
I dont perceive Fornite as being valid for betting especially, some games will work better then others and in general I dont favour BR as long term viable.   If companies want to go it a go then good luck but I dont expect to see it take off really.

I hope that eSports will never find its place in Olympic games.
^ Why not, they are still a sports event and these esports probably have placed on Olympics games.

Probably because it was increasing the Olympics game appeal to younger generations is a core thinking amongst Olympics organizations. Fortnite game and betting belonged to this esports and soon there probably a place, who knows.

there is a big/huge interest to see eSPORTS like Fortnite in Olympics Games! (Starting soon with Tokyo 2021).

Ha ha, good old joke. This talks, about adding computer games intro Olumpics is going around 10 years or maybe even more, but for now it's only dreams of some people. And i doubt that they will become true now, later - i think yes, but not now.

And yeah, Fortnite is pure bullshit.

I hope that eSports will never find its place in Olympic games. I mean, I like to bet on.eSports but that isn't actually real sport and it doesn't deserve a place in.Olympics, that would be completely opposite to what sport represents.
And yes, I don't like Fortnite either.
Sooner or later, we like it or not then it would really be add up but i do agree that this one doesnt really symbolized true sports which we had known in all olympics event.

This do focuses mainly on actual physical sports where we can really see the competition.E-sports can be considered but it doesnt really involve physical motions

which i do also see that it isnt really that much needed nor necessary to be added into this kind of event. Why not just make their own e-sports day?

I agree most eGames won't be forthcoming into the Olympics for a long time, the tournaments might get more and more popular though.

As regarding Fortnite, the game isn't trash unlike most games out there this is suited to a sightly different audience and let me tell you that the young ones like it. It may not be for everyone, specially for the more senior gamers but it still keeps you up on your feet.  I guess its a matter of preference.

JohhnyUA is right, they talk about this for years, but I agree with him, we will not see some computer games at Olympic Games
soon. I don't see a reason to add computer games in this competition where is all about sport, physical sport, with running, jumping,
and everything else.
And from all computer games I saw kids playing Fortnite is my less favorite game. I find old Counter Strike, Dota and Lol much more
interesting.

https://www.economist.com/leaders/2020/06/27/why-the-next-olympics-should-include-fortnite

there is a big/huge interest to see eSPORTS like Fortnite in Olympics Games! (Starting soon with Tokyo 2021).

I was wondering.. there are official tournaments or site that give the option for bettings?
Since there are a lot of players it could be really interest try to win some bets... Any bookmaker or similar service?

As far as I am seeing in the game of Fortnite, its really nice to watch individual match-ups instead of teams. Since every player are talented, they should just go around and try to see on which one of them is better and would really nice to bet on underdogs playing that game. I guess Fortnite advancing to a game worth to be included of E-Sports means that the game fosters good competition and we must hope to see further expansions in the game.

I thought fortnite was dead community and considering i haven't heard of it from social media or youtube channels considering im avid gamer myself, i even thought that it might become popular as PUBG, COD or CyberHunter, but still i dont get ads about it in social media platforms or recommendations in youtube channels. It will be arguable to be added in popular gambling sites in my opinion.
I've thought of it too, before the youtube is bombarded with a lot of fortnite advertisement, everyone is sick watching it with a skip button and now I thought the game was already dead but it struck me that they are big enough not to buy any advertisement from any one, that's how huge the community of fortnite is. They got million of player, I think they have more players than Apex Legends but not with COD. Monthly active players, 800K seems okay better than being a dead game. Anyways it already got into the pro scene, there were lots of tournament with fortnite and betting isn't closing its doors for fortnite.

Haven't played Fortnite yet but I've seen the gameplay and it seems that e-sports have been growing since it's becoming part of major tournaments such as SEA games and now the Olympics. I agree that e-sports is now expanding and gaining more attention as what @Vanitywallets2015 had said, this is also due to the pandemic which restricts some contact sports from commencing. With some sports events being canceled, I guess most people will focus more on e-sports betting.
With the evolution of internet people also choosing esports as their career path, battlefield games are in the top list of esports because it needs the real skills and tactics to play them.So probably we can see more tournaments and leagues related to fortnite but I guess now we have lot of games for esports then why especially Fortnite is getting so much attention like Olympics.

why you havent played ? dont you have a pc but i heard there are now fortnite for other devices like consoles and mobiles  .

its a good first person shooter game  . esports is already growing before fortnite join them but they can grow more because like i said earlier fortnite is a good game  . im not into sports or sports betting but i like gaming yet i wont be happy if sports events are being cancelled while esports betting is active and on going  . its unfair to sports enthusiast

Since the beginning of this pandemic globally, people are more interested with fun activities that could keep them busy than ever, specifically online activities.
E-sports has been active and gaining more attention throughout this quarantine which could be of advantage to be affiliated with gambling.
Fortnite is indeed one of these popular games nowadays and has a high definition graphics that keeps players more enthusiastic.

Ha ha, good old joke. This talks, about adding computer games intro Olumpics is going around 10 years or maybe even more, but for now it's only dreams of some people. And i doubt that they will become true now, later - i think yes, but not now.

And yeah, Fortnite is pure bullshit.

Not a complete trash game, fortnite's graphics is just suited for kids and it is quite not appropriate to add it to esports and sports betting. First, is because they might attract kids into gambling, and second, there's not much community for fortnite gambling since its a battle royale, and its hard to choose the player to bet.

I rather choose CSGO and other FPS games which comprises of teams mainly because the chance of winning is 50/50.
They could still make a competition out of it, like who gets the most wins in a 2 hour session, or something like that.

There are a lot of them online but I don't like betting on Fortnite or even PUBG. It is not that I dislike them, I play PUBG but in a game where a lot of players are fighting each other, it is hard to easily conclude who/which team will win. Unlike MOBAs where you can analyze a team's game and their opponents game. Like other FPS like CSGO where it is usually the popular esports to bet.

People shifted to e-sports betting because there were no other sports in the last 2 months. However since the other sports are resuming now, most people will bet on those and leave the betting on CS:GO or PUBG. One of my colleague used to bet on https://vulkanbet.com/en/fortnite and even asked me to participate but i never listened him.

Just as I mentioned in my previous message, many sports players are now turning to betting options such as e-sports and virtual sports, as no sports competition took place within a period of approximately 60-70 days. Besides, these people will continue to play in the long-term as they now have to dominate these types of bets as they have to bet only such bets for a long time. Finally, I would like to make the following advice that when you receive possible offers, you should definitely research about the company before using it.

Fortnite has official tournaments and it seems Playbetr features betting for this tournament with crypto currency but with fiat we have lot of sites.

But I wonder why still people playing fortnite, when we have lot high graphics battle field games available in the market? Roll Eyes

Thanks for your message I check immediately Playbetr Tongue
They have a banner with Fortnite-like game but it seems there are no match listed here

I think that there is a specific target (young - very young) of people that like this type of product and the idea of a strategy is something very different from the classic battle field game.

Isn't fortnite a dying game in fact even famous youtuber and game reviewer Pewdiepie hates it ? didn't they announced that that they'd be selling the game or it was getting banned by some country, if im not mistaken.

With the current downtrend in popularity of fortnite, i dont think sports bookies would be adding it in their list of betting games.
The fact that one channel which happens to be the most popular one out there hates it doesn't mean the general opinion is the same. It's just the opinion of one guy. In fact, Fortnite is still going very well and had a massive ATH amount of >12M players live with a recent Travis Scott update.

Some popular channels still do Fortnite gameplays on a regular. The quite often updates also make for a good, constant high player count. I honestly think the opportunity for gambling businesses is still very, very high over there. The problem, as I said in an earlier post, is the age range of players. If most of them are kids and teens, it means they may be attracted to gambling addiction at too young ages.

Don't worry about the popularity of Fortnite during this pandemic, they have provided full entertainment to many of their fans such as CS: GO and Dota 2, before the viruscorona pandemic occurred, Fortnite is still popular today in the near future, if you check the game Fortnite you will find many games that are currently available, such as sports scenes, but on the other hand this will have a positive and beneficial impact on the player.

Even more interesting is: at this time they are focused on developing their latest platform in the launch of their latest competitive game, this is a sign that Fortnite has a positive sign of the best future.

I was wondering.. there are official tournaments or site that give the option for bettings?
You can see at a glance here, for the future.

I guess the regulator/regulators ignored  including the game in betting because it attracts mostly the young ones. And lots of countries do not allow alot of their young people to gamble with their money and time in physical/online casinos and betting centers. Besides, it is a violent video game and the graphics look like the real things. That is not the kind of game kids should be playing in my opinion... Combining it with betting could be addictive and more dangerous
Guess it's way, way better and so much less violent than most other games such as CS:GO where you literally stab others and have blood stains on walls. Fortnite is more focused on cartoonish graphics and non-graphic combat. Besides the fact that you have guns to shoot with, I would honestly not say it's violent for kids especially nowadays when you have CoD, CS:GO and other similar games.

and the graphics look like the real things.
Do the graphics look real to you..?

The game you mentioned has become very popular around the world in a very short time and has become the favorite of e-sports. It has been very unreasonable to have no serious betting losses in this game since the first day it was popular and there were no betting options for this game, where its broadcasts attracted great attention. I see that this option has caught the eye of service providers in order to re-activate the slowdown in the gambling industry, and has started working to provide this betting option to users. Although I do not know a company that provides betting options for this game, I would like to say that very popularly, many popular gambling companies and websites will provide this service to its users in a very short time. Gambling sector, which is in a downward trend, will start to revive in this way and many gambling companies and websites will have to provide this service due to high user demand.

According this two news,
https://www.economist.com/leaders/2020/06/27/why-the-next-olympics-should-include-fortnite
https://techcrunch.com/2020/06/18/why-the-olympics-should-add-esports/
there is a big/huge interest to see eSPORTS like Fortnite in Olympics Games! (Starting soon with Tokyo 2021).

Since there are a lot of players it could be really interest try to win some bets... Any bookmaker or similar service?
The topic of counting esports as sports and including them to sport events like the Olympics is very relevant, and it became more so because the quarantine led to more attention than usual to these sports. Table tennis is an Olympic sport, and people there move not much more than gamers that have to click on the buttons with very high frequency. One of the problems about including esports is how to decide what to include or not. Why Fortnite and not CS or Dota is what I mean. And like others, I could not find Fortnite but CS:GO and Dota 2 are available for betting on Sportsbet.io, for instance. So I'm genuinely surprised they're thinking about Fortnite rather than these games.

Well, that would be true but most of the people that are betting online in these games are actually doing these wages and bets even before the lockdowns and this pandemic started. People betting on these matches might lessen but I don't call that leaving, I might call it going back to normal. Another thing is that they might consider now betting on these games so I don't think all of them will be leaving at all.

To be honest, betting for Fortnite and PUBG with survival game was really hard to predict cause there a lot player or team playing on the same match. Could be hard for us to predict and some chance to get the right betting was really low. Better to betting with a TEAM BATTLE like CSGO or DOTA when we really can predict the match. But betting on FORTNITE and PUBG until now still not seen some bookmaker who provides this betting game.

Most of them provide only DOTA 2, CSGO and LOL cause kinda popular and easy to bet.

Yeah, it's true that eSports always hit in the gambling industry but not all.

The bookmaker doesn't care if a strong player wins or not. It is important for the bookmaker that the game is popular. The more popular the more bets will be placed. And given the difficult-to-predict nature of the winnings, it will be more difficult to place a bet on the winner.

Fortnite began to enjoy doing by gamers, with fortnite being available in Esports will certainly increase its popularity.
Now there are several fortnite betting that can be used, but I don't know yet whether fortnite betting support cryptocurrency
or not. But crypto fortnite betting should be available, given that cryptocurrency has been adopted for all online games.
But I agree with the opinion of most people that fortnite is not suitable for Olympics. Because of the picture quality as well
the game is still many online games are much better than fortnite.

Fortnite is ALREADY AN ESPORT and already popular. Do you have any links pertaining legitimate fortnite betting whether it does support crypto or not? The picture quality is good and was been imitated by other games such as Apex Legends  (in which Apex is somehow a Fortnite ripoff) in which Fortnite is also a ripoff of a much popular and crypto-betting accepted game Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Soon if it has a patch that eliminates similarities with other games it might be part of the Olympics.

But IMO, Fortnite is impossible to have online betting nor be accepted in Olympics. Yes, small bets in a small community is possible (adding a twitch stream of the game), but a world wide betting would be impossible.

Yes, I agree with you that there are definitely more suitable online games for Olympic disciplines. Spontaneously I can think of strategy games like Starcraft 2, although I honestly don't know if the competitive scene there is still big enough.

I think there aren't enough viewers in strategy games for any really large tournaments. In Asia strategy games are a bit more mainstream than in the West but still most people prefer to watch Shooters or Moba games.  Even though strategy games offer a perfect setting for competition. Most of the times its 1 vs 1 with a clear winner and loser. Personally I like strategy games, but watching pros play becomes a bit boring after a while.

In that worldcup you got points for being placed on the top, so with good RNG and only becoming 2nd or 3rd everygame you could still become the world champion. The fortnite format is just not great for Olympics.

The luck factor is also indirectly present in other, classic Olympic disciplines like Soccer, not by drops but by referee decisions that can influence the game in one direction or another. So I don't really see a problem with allowing games that are (only to a small extent) dependent on the luck factor.

The information I know about fortnite is that, it is a battle royal game with the same system such as PUBG and ROS. With fortnite being available in Esports gaming or betting, how could it be implemented? Are we going to bet to a single player that we think will win the match against tons of players? Because I saw competitive matches in CSGO and other FPS games where you can really bet for 1 team in each match. With battle royale, the system of betting is quite not clear even with teams.

I like the idea of seeing fortnite added to Olympics. They can't ignore the fact that it's already a career these days. I'm an esports advocate/fan and would love to see any esports game be considered by the Olympics.

Indeed as even I myself are amazed with the community and unique idea of Fortnite, yet the biggest drawback is that the fact that Apex Legends and the new Valorant are pretty comparable to Fortnite. Comparable in ways that it all has the same idea as the CS:GO yet differs only in features such as shields, weapons, and in-game styles and plays. I said comparable because Fortnite's community rose drastically and fell down instantly as well. I'm not saying that Fortnite is already antiquated, it's just a fact that even Apex and Valorant wouldn't have that attention to be adapted by legitimate betting platforms as all of the game's idea came from CS:GO (in which CS:GO is still popular and have constant betting)

We all know that the Olympics is a showcase in which you could show off your skills in front of the whole world. It’s a sign of development in every kind of aspect, specifically in sports and electronics sports.

Fortnite isn't that famous around the world yet. Some still aren't tried playing it and it's viewers are still less compared to the top esports nowadays. And looking forward for it to be accepted in Olympics is somehow ridiculous, yet... why not right?

I've also looked up if there are Fortnite betting online, yet found only tournaments and live streams. I think it's community must increase and game strategy must improve to surpass and/or reach the peak of CS:GO and other bet-able esports games..

Good players you see at the moment win a lot of games because they play against not so skilled players. But in an olympic setting with only pro playing, it would be all about luck. And thats not the spirit of olympic competition.
Have you ever actually played games like Fortnite? It is simply not true that professional players only win because they play against not so skilled players. Just watch the games in the 2019 Fortnite World Cup. There you can see the best players from all over the world playing against each other. "Luck" is only a very small deciding factor here:

https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/competitive/de/events/world-cup

The games were preceded by very long qualifying phases. Even if you were lucky with drops 1.2 times, you had to perform very well over weeks to be allowed to participate in the World Cup.

I am not saying that the people competing in the final tournaments got there only by randomness. Of course they are skilled players who have to work hard to get there. But the game has by itself randomness in it, which weapons drop where, etc. Thats why Dota 2 or CSGO are so great for the competitive seen, it's a fixed setting. The spawns are fixed, the end is fixed too.

In that worldcup you got points for being placed on the top, so with good RNG and only becoming 2nd or 3rd everygame you could still become the world champion. The fortnite format is just not great for Olympics.

Why I am not surprise that fortnite will be added as one of the esports that you can bet online?. Fortnite is addictive and has one of the best graphics. I did play it few time and the more y ou play the more you get addicted to it. It was hard for me to work at that time. Thankfully it is over now.

Reports is gradually getting due recognition, it will be nice if games like fortnite gets added to Olympics. I have not heard or known any website that allows betting on fortnite or games similar to it. I would be great to bet on these games.

The e-sports interest in this game could've been predicted a long time ago; pretty much any competitive game nowadays comes with a tournament-like setup in case interest explodes and the game grows big.

It's just bad that these games are mainly played by little kids though; even the guy who won the $3,000,000 2019 Fortnite World Cup was only 17 at the time so was the 3rd place of the same championship. These days it seems like kids and teens are the main focus when it comes to trendy businesses, which I have no idea whether is scary or amazing.

This highly influences the average age of gamblers, so expect a lot of news about kids that gambled their parents' money away. Cheesy

According this two news,
https://www.economist.com/leaders/2020/06/27/why-the-next-olympics-should-include-fortnite
https://techcrunch.com/2020/06/18/why-the-olympics-should-add-esports/
there is a big/huge interest to see eSPORTS like Fortnite in Olympics Games! (Starting soon with Tokyo 2021).

I was wondering.. there are official tournaments or site that give the option for bettings?
Since there are a lot of players it could be really interest try to win some bets... Any bookmaker or similar service?

If there is more demand for esports betting in the future I am sure the major bookmakers will increase there betting offers for other games and tournaments.

But seeing fortnite in the olympic games seems crazy to me. Sure we there are millions of people playing it but the game is with so much randomness, for example which weapons to find, how many people land near you, etc.

Good players you see at the moment win a lot of games because they play against not so skilled players. But in an olympic setting with only pro playing, it would be all about luck. And thats not the spirit of olympic competition.

I think that cryptos will implement this kind of betting soon if the interest in betting in Fortnite grows bigger and bigger.Crypto casinos are always trying to add new games to make the user experience at their casinos as enjoyable as they can.Fortnite is a worldwide phenomen where even 6-7 year kids are playing it online in their Ps4 so most probably we will see it in crypto betting very soon.

If the developer integrates with the cryptocurrency, they will need to think about making a new rule that will not allow kids or younger people to play the games because that can make them gamble inside the games. We don't want to see our kids playing gambling games, even with the reason of having fun with their friends.

Besides that, we need to watch them if they are playing games, and don't let them play any gambling games if they don't understand the risk. Even if they know the risk, they should not play the games using the money involved in the games.

Before there is a fortnite on playbetr and they even made articles for it.

--> https://www.playbetr.com/how-bet-fortnite-bitcoin-sportsbook

But now, I don't see any game on them now. Most of the bookies have other esports game and I think they also should include fortnite as a permanent book.

I like the idea of seeing fortnite added to Olympics. They can't ignore the fact that it's already a career these days. I'm an esports advocate/fan and would love to see any esports game be considered by the Olympics.

I have looked to the most popular sports bookie that includes esports but I found no one.

Tried looking for a few sites that offered Fortnite betting but other than what was said by others, I couldn't really find anything. Still, you could actually question why Fortnite? I do believe that a lot of people would actually argue why Fortnite was the first one to put in the list of possible games to be added in the Olympics when there are PUBG/Apex legends on the same genre of Battle Royale. In terms of FPS, there's CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege, and the recently released Valorant. I'm not saying that Fortnite is a bad game, but there are a few others out there that are a lot more worthy to be placed on the Olympics.

Also for those opening the first link of OP, you need to register to view the entire article so you can try visiting this instead

Though the arrangement of the paragraphs is messed up, but it was the best substitute I could find.

Well, this Fortnite betting it is a very promising market amid the COVID19 problem and e-sports is the best alternative to any sports event.
You perhaps look at this Fornite betting site list, [ https://esportsbettingtop.com/best-fortnite-betting-sites/ ] but I don't know if which of them accept crypto for betting but for sure as far as I know Bet365 is accepted BTC that included on that list.

Indeed, we need to avoid mass gathering and usually, --bettors now are at home and this Fortnite betting is a promising new market in the gambling industry, I hope so.
That's odd, I visited bet365 and I couldn't really find Fortnite. Though it's possible that there's just no Fortnite tournament right now.

Honestly, Fornite is one of the best survival games today, the graphics are different for other survival games which Fornite is more on fantasy unlike other survival games just like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG).

About betting on Fortnite, this gonna be interested and exciting, upon googling; I found https://unikrn.com/bet/games/fortnite ,
seems Fortnite starting to grow in gambling field. Good for Fortnite.

Fortnite is a good game to be honest though a lot of content creators hate it.

When we will be betting, what will we bet here? Fortnite is a battle royale game and unlike PUBG, most of the tournaments that are happening in Fortnite including the biggest one where Bugha won $3M, are in solo mode. If that is a solo, that would make it harder to bet since that is a lot of players to start with. If that is a party or a squad, that is good but I would choose to bet on CSGO or Dota 2 than that since the possibility of winning is much lower.

There are bookies that have fortnite like gg.bet for example, maybe we'll see some fornite odds get added to crypto sportsbooks as well if it's going to be a major tournament because I remember a few of them added PUBG when they had some weekly tournaments back then. Right now there's not much options available for fortnite because there's only a few tournaments active unlike some of the popular games where the competitive scene is much stable.

So far. the most common games on crypto betting sites that include esports are CS:GO, DOTA2, LoL and Starcraft. with some mini games being played on special tournaments. Don't get me wrong, BR games in general are pretty good and involves a lot of mechanical skill and also unique strategy, but for the most part, RNG plays a huge role on how would these guys adjust, plus the fact that there are tons of players in the playing field and it's quite tricky who to root with. I am yet to see a bookie that accepts BR tournaments regularly since the market for it is actually not that high.

Yeah, it's true that eSports always hit in the gambling industry but not all.

E-sports does really expand as years passby and now they adding fortnite in the line and this would also happen to other games which would really show up some demand.

Fornite's graphic is good, it is really good to the point that it looks like a cartoon to me. Fortnite is the fps game that when you shot you're enemy he'll turn into an 8-storey building right? lol I saw a lot of videos of fortnite, I haven't played it yet but I don't think it has what it takes to be in an olympic games, I mean we got a lot of good games better than fortnite there is the Apex Legends and R6 that is mechanically advanced than fortnite.

You can try to loot.bet but I don't think they already have fortnite, as far as I know they have just DOTA2, overwatch and CS:GO
