I think we need a mobile version of the forum rather than an app first. Because it's kinda uncomfortable using the forum on the desktop site.

The developer seems to be: Elbandi.
Anyone know if this is this their profile or if he/she has a thread about the app? https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/elbandi-154606

Thanks!

In fact I am using the forum on my mobile (by Chrome) now. I don't think we need a mobile app for now. BTW this is a good suggestion.

If the app it's well-developed, it's better to navigate on a dedicated application rather than using the OS navigator.
Keep in mind that with a navigator you can have screen-size adjustment problems. Problems that you can solve with a dedicated and optimized app  Wink

Downloaded, but can't figure out how to add Bitcointalk to the App, I searched Bitcointalk but got no results, besides, It doesn't look like a fourm app.

Well, they say it is built for following many forums using mobile. I guess apps like these optimizes and it obviously will break the layout. I still think browser is better than these.

App for iOS or android?
It will be the second best news for me after the avatar news. Smiley It's that possible?
well u should check on playstore because i clearly remember that i have used 2-3bitcointalk apps on my android...yes it is avilable

There are 2 Unofficial Bitcointalk Android apps in Play Store:

• Bitcointalk.org App - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.elbandi.forum.bitcointalk&hl=en
• Bitcointalk Alerter - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jesttek.bitcointalkAlerter&hl=en

He may want an official app and also an app for iOS.

Bitcoin Alerter seems like it's a notification of online status. Not useful for browsing the forums but interesting nonetheless.

For those trying, tapatalk (unfortunately) cannot be used to browse the forum, I already tried several times... I hope it will be a feature on the new forums!

I hope the app / new forum will be Tapatalk compatible, but any app will be just as good.

I would love to see what's your Tapatalk looks like? it can be used to access the forum?

Official website - https://tapatalk.com/
iOS - https://itunes.apple.com/in/app/tapatalk/id307880732?mt=8

P.S. Tapatalk can be used to access (any) forums.

It would be great for iOS users if they relese a iOS app of Bitcointalk forums   Cheesy

Yes, I would buy it even if this forum APP are selling for 10$ on App Store.  Cheesy

there is no such app for this forum you can use Tapatalk for it .

I have installed google chrome in my ios 8 and this site works fine for me however the site also works fine on safari.

I agree with your idea, since i active with my phone...
And with some panning things that i need to do when i posting posts Undecided
I hope the forum admin see this thread... So i can post posts easily from my phone Grin
Me too Smiley But using the current browser (Chrome for Android) is enough for me. I think that we should keep the development for other greater features.

Slickage does have this planned in the future roadmap. We have very seasoned iOS and Android developers so this should be fun!

It would be a nice feature, but I think I'd rather just have a mobile version of the website. Right now the site is difficult to navigate on while on a mobile device, and a mobile site would be so much nicer. Plus, it would work on all devices that are considered mobile, not just iOS ot Android devices. (Although they make up the majority of mobile devices)
