No offense as I don't know the guy building the new forum from scratch, or the admins, but better choices could have been made. I'm sure it's too late to back out now due to the amount of money spent. But the new software is terrible.

I have been using the forum for a little while now but i don't really know about the administrative side.

Is there a development team to ensure forum can scale and implement system improvements or has there ever been any changes since inception?
Is there a development fund or donation system in order to support such developments?

Although the forum functions i feel it is very outdated, you would think with the recent wealth accumulation as a result of BTC the 'bitcointalk' would reflect this with feature improvements etc.

I think it would also help with getting 'normies' involved in crypto if the forum were to be updated. It is a very oldchool system and not inviting or user friendly for those less technically inclined.

Is this even possible with the current admin structure? I don't know...
