Thanks for all your replies!

(this got moved to META, oops my bad, ha!)

Anyway, I am not expecting a reward; I just figured I would try to 'help' someone ahead of time, rather than 'waste' a signup, and if that's done no one gets anything extra from it; if my signing up can give someone a little extra, I'm all for it!

Call me weird, heh.
Let me take a rough guess....Faucets!On a serious note,if you're not showing us general ways of earning bitcoin legitimately, you're referrals are useless.btw you can pay people if you're just looking to get referrals.

I read that you couldn't create a topic to post one of your referral links, but I was wondering if I could REQUEST some referrals from other people? I have a few sites that I want to sign up for, and I would like to 'share the wealth' with peeps.

And if that's not allowed, could I make a topic to request them and have them PM me their links? I don't want to break any rules, but it would be nice to have a person's referral + the possibility of some new sites that I don't know about already.

Thanks for your time Smiley

so basically you want to join some sites but with other's referral links? with that you want help and share some commissions to the peeps? correct me if I am wrong.
I think it is just allowed.you can make a thread in service section and ask users to send their referral links via pm to you..
only posting referral links in publicly not allowed but sharing in PM has no issue..

better option for you just join those sites which own domain. I don't think you  can help someone by joining with his referral link. which type of sites you have to join? faucets or PTC?

it is allowed to use reflinks in personal message & signature  never tried to post in thread .

He can put a referral link in his signature as long as he didn't request anyone to visit it directly or indirectly
Requesting others to send their ref shouldn't be a problem but don't expect others to pay you for this..

The best place to post it would probably be:

Marketplace > Services
or
Marketplace > Goods > Digital goods

It is an unusual request however and I don't know what sort of reward you expect from it?

AFAIK, that is allowed. The only thing that is not allowed with reflinks is to post them publicly. You can have them in signatures or send them through PMs.
