I think all the old traders believe in Bitcoin because they have been trading for years and after wasting a lot of money on meme coins and altcoins they understand that there can be no other coin in the market as trusted as Bitcoin and the popularity that Bitcoin has gained in 10 years will be more than that in the coming years and more. Right now people like us who don't have that much investment might be able to buy bitcoins so we still have a chance to keep buying bit by bit and keep accumulating if we want to build our future.

The rest of the alternative coins are also good, there are some famous coins, which I prefer more, for trading, they include ETH, BNB, SOL, and some other names. I don't trust meme coins much. And that's because every time I invested in a meme coin I have always faced a loss or didn't get as much profit as I had hoped, so I almost lost my faith in meme coins.

What can you expect? they always ride with the emotion of people and make them think that its easy to became rich with them by showing those outrageous stats they achieve on earliest of their existence. And this is dangerous for newbies sine we all know that most of them are curios to know what are those things that can possibly give them a huge profit and if they see those ads then maybe they fall for bad expectation on those meme coins.

That's why its good to warn those people especially if they are not yet attached with those tokens so that they could figure out that they are trying to go on risky investment. But if they are already invested on those tokens for sure they won't listen to anyone that give them an advice to avoid those meme coins. Yeah its really sad that scamming continuous to happen but people just tolerate it so lets just hope that people will be done with it and treat memecoin as a total scam and will not invest on it anymore.

I do both , i either convert my earned altcoins to bitcoin but there are also chances that i convert my bitcoin
into altcoins(most specially when bitcoin is stagnant and altcoins have their season so strategy or pattern?
we are in practical way now instead of just doing in single pattern like accumulating purely in bitcoin
because we also knew that there is a diversified folio that bringing best for our whole investment period.

There was a time when I was accumulating altcoins for the sake of making money. I wasn't even thinking of their value in Bitcoin. Later on, my base value turned into Sats. Altcoins' appreciation in price should be in Sats rather than fiat. That's the target.

It's useless for an altcoin to have an increase in USD if its value in Sats is decreasing because the main purpose is to increase my Bitcoin holdings. Bitcoin remains to be the end goal. I'd be happier if my altcoin falls in terms of USD but increases in terms of Sats than if it is increasing in fiat but falls in Sats.

That's the key, the word unpredictable and as well as uncertain.

While those that have been experts of it, let's say that because many of the altcoin investors knew what they are up to. And even so, I don't think that they are ignoring the fact of investing in Bitcoin.

It is something that they won't just let it pass. I believe that most of them are wise that they're converting their altcoin profits into Bitcoin and are only waiting for a probable dip.

Other than that, they're holding a huge part of their portfolio are in altcoins but they have got plans of converting that as well and leaning to their holdings mostly to hold more Bitcoins.

Altcoins and meme coins are coins that give profit based on trend, they don’t last and they are not reliable that’s why we invest in them for short time just to be among and get the profit with others if we are convinced with the project and we invested early.
Accumulating BTC is the main thing and invest partially on altcoin and meme coins should not stop us from using DCA me this to accumulate more BTC.

Some people have made some money buying and selling shitcoins but many people have lost so much. There are also a few altcoins which have been around for some time now, but more have disappeared from the crypto space. The altcoin sector is very risky and technical. If one is not careful, he would lose his funds due to dumps or scams. I will always advise newbies to focus on only Bitcoin until they have an understanding of how the altcoin sector works. They should forget about the glamour and hype because they will die after a season.

I'm trying to be a bitcoin maximalist, and everything in the crypto world should be about bitcoin itself, both trading to technical developments. However, i can't turn a blind eye to meme coins that can make you rich, investing in bitcoin only makes small profits, while investing in meme coins can get multiple profits because the initial capitalization is small.

I still believe in bitcoin, and that's why i trade other tokens, but for one purpose: i allocate some of the profits to accumulate bitcoin which have real value.

Of course Bitcoin is always there in our hearts but the thing is we need to diversify our investments so that is why we do have Altcoins with us whether it is a shitcoin or not it doesn't matter as it is a personal preference thing but no doubt if we made profits with Altcoins, majority will surely convert some of it to Bitcoin which I personally do. You likely followed the part of the Forum that specifically interested you, ignoring all the other Threads and discussions unrelated to what you are saying.

A lot of people are here to earn a quick profit and then just leave. Many of them do not care about Bitcoin, Altcoins, Freedom but Money. They want just the Money. But we of course can not generalize, I believe there are a lot of people like you still out there who want to move through Altcoins, make Money and return to Bitcoin with the whole stash. I am pretty certain there are more people number wise who do this than there were before even.

Just like you however, they probably do not have much time to talk about it too often. Bitcoin is still safer than Altcoins though, so I doubt a LOT of people who stay in the Cryptocurrency Markets stick to Altcoins mostly and do not care about the safer option that always succeeded to get out of every single pit of the Market. No body cares if you tell them you own 5 Cardano. They do assign certain value to your identity if you mention you own Bitcoin though.

Times have changed, most investors these days are looking for quick profits and they know it is only possible if they invest in altcoins including meme coins because altcoins tend to be more volatile than Bitcoin, and one doesn't need a large capital to be able to get decent profits which is usually the case when you are investing in Bitcoin because your profits depend on the amount you are investing, the price of the coin, and the growth percentage.

So if I'm buying an altcoin worth $10 with $100, I would get 10 coins and if the coin manages to hit $20, I will get 100% return on my investment, whereas if you have the same amount invested in Bitcoin, you will only get 100% on top of your investment if it doubles its price which is difficult since it has a huge value.

This is usually the pattern, hide under what is legit to promote the fake. By adding bitcoin to whatever they are promoting, they are invariably telling their gullible followers that their coin still have big potential for growth and their investor seeing this might be all hyped to buy more hoping to buy their Lambo with the profits or probably "go to the moon" soon. I have fallen for this before and I believe many people here who have followed the hypes would have used such information in the past. Mine was a bitter experience that I will not want to experience again. I rather stay with bitcoin than cry later because most of the hyped shitcoins will die few months or years from now.

You are mixing too many different categories of people in my opinion: when they say that NOT valuation is only 0.15% of bitcoin's clearly are looking for people with limited knowledge of cryptos, like those people who thought that Shiba could reach a $1 valuation. Then we have people who actually believe in bitcoin and bitcoin only, so they would never touch any other coin. Lastly, and I see nothing wrong with this, we have people who want to make money, and whether we like it or not, right now meme coins are pumping a lot.

Category #2 and #3 can perfectly coexist, if you buy some shitcoins it doesn't mean you don't believe in bitcoin.

Your decision is wise for a large investor looking to manage risk, but I believe small investors seek higher returns. Bitcoin may not offer the same exponential growth as in its early years—it’s unlikely to 5x from its current price, whereas other altcoins might. Ultimately, everyone makes investment decisions based on their risk tolerance and available funds.

enhh.. AFAIk, people have different interest regarding things they'd wanna indulge in. "Someone wrote that most people don't even wish they could get rich. They're comfortable being poor" . Now, does that make any sense to you? But that's what they love. The early rugpull and the numerous scam projects have made altcurrencies quiet uninteresting.

Edit:What happens is that they have those telegram games/meme coin lined up, programmed by the same person to make as much traffic as possible. Someone tried linking their telegram and it weren't successful, they immediately referred them to another one... Crazy right? I don't click on links that refer me to my telegram either.

I won't take a Media post from such memecoin serious most especially now that notcoin hype is beginning to die a natural death and trying by all means to revive the investors believes and faith in the hyped coin, the fact is that, majority of them are looking up to Bitcoin to build their market foundation, but doing it in the wrong way.

Because most of them are indirectly attacking Bitcoin just to make a point, mean while in the reality of things, they don't have any point to make since Bitcoin have already won it investors confidence with how oftentimes it proven not to belong to the hyped and dump category of coins.

It's like one in hundreds people will be lucky to make 10x or 100x with these memecoins during the pump and dump and they will get so much of traction it becao s their upselling point and people fall for it by looking at the few winners without acknowledging the fact there are hundreds of losers for every single winner. Again, this would do wonders for someone who is into crypto just to make quick profit using their risk investment and don't want to be associated with crypto for longer period of time.

Yes, I am speaking for myself; I believe in Bitcoin 100%, but memecoins do give quick profit, and most memecoin traders that are not new to the system do convert their profit to Bitcoin once they meet their target because they know what shitcoins can do because the team can be funny at times and go away with investors money if they have achieved their goals. To me, investing in meme coins is like gambling; you can win and you can lose at the same time. The risk involved is very high, and once you invest in meme coins, you will hardly have rest of mind compared to when you invest in Bitcoin.

I don't know about others but my confidence in Bitcoin is unshaken. For now, I have not seen any other investment platform that is safe and profitable, such as Bitcoin. The current bull run has also increased the amount of altcoins that are in the crypto market. There has also been hype about various coins in my area, and some people have made some money from them. I am not a fan of altcoins because I don't have the knowledge about these new coins and anyone who lacks basic skills will lose money since it is very risky.

Anyone who makes money from altcoins is just lucky because many people have lost so much investment. So, there are no plans to convert altcoins to Bitcoin for now. I am still DCAing and not allowing anything to distract me.

I actually pay attention to different trends in the space, but honestly I still have faith in Bitcoin. Maybe at different times, the public stage has a different way of spreading information to attract/repulse people, but in any case, it only serves to make more people know more about bitcoin. In fact, I keep trying to multiply Bitcoin using Altcoins. But I don't do that much for altcoins of the coin meme type. I have more faith in some coins that have clear projects. Even though it looks like it requires more patience but the risk is not like a meme coin coin that is pumped then falls deep. Indeed, if you look at some of the meme history it looks very interesting, but there is a big risk that I want to avoid.

I thought I'm the only one that's doing this since no one's talking about it and at the same time, I thought that most of us here are buying bitcoin with fiat but now that I think of it, it's quite ignorant of me to not think that there are others like me that do this because most of the time, most altcoin investors just go and sell that cryptocurrency to USD and then have fun for themselves with what they've profited from that crypto. I guess that when it comes to advertisements, cryptocurrency is just so damn attractive and even if for most of us, we don't see the advertisement's effective, it will definitely work on others because there's more people out there that are more gullible and doesn't do their own research or something like that.

The "Pump & Dump" mentality of many shitcoin investors has never gone away from the cryptocurrency markets.
It's like penny stock investing in the unregulated stock markets. The investor buys a stock worth less than a penny and expects the price to go 10X or 100X. In most cases, the prices might go up mostly due to market manipulations and building hype around sketchy projects.
By the way, Notcoin seems like a cool name for a cryptocurrency. The comparison between a shitcoin market cap and the BTC market cap is hilarious. Having 0,15% of Bitcoin's market cap still means nothing, because a shitcoin will always remain a shitcoin.

I'm annoyed by Notcoin promotion and remember recently accidentally clicking on its price chart instead of Bitcoin chart due to sponsored options appearing at the top sometimes. My personal experience with altcoins ended around 2019, after the end of their boom and when it became obvious that those projects generally fail to deliver on their ambitious promises. I convert my profits into stable coins first and when I see huge dip in Bitcoin's value then I invest in it and allow it to grow again. I have been doing that for a long time and I will continue doing that for long term I hope.

The strategy that many are using is the same as what you also did. To understand this concept, it is not that people still don’t believe in bitcoin, but that they try to invest in all this alt-coin and this meme coin, which, when they rise up, they will use their profits to invest back in bitcoin, and mostly it is applied to those that come to the bitcoin space without a huge profit. and they will like to accumulate a lot of bitcoin, so they have no strategy to follow to get such an investment in bitcoin.

That is why I don’t still see the fault of those investing in meme coins because they usually do adequate research before they should invest in any of the coins, and again, they will still be at a deep risk. That is why it is very dangerous to invest in all this meme coin because most of them end up being scams.

Yes, I still believe in the orange coin, I am grateful to Bitcoin for everything, it changed my life for the better. From time to time I buy some alts, but as soon as they appreciate significantly or as long as they are performing well, I will convert them into BTC.

As for memecoins, I haven't invested in any of them yet and I don't even know if I'm going to do that yet, and if I do, of course I'll invest around 1% of my capital.

The fact is I won't condemn meme coins and shit coins. I personally they are called shit coins and meme coins for a reason. Personally I think the crypto space in general is based on losses and profit and for certain persons to gain some others have to lose and that's just the fact.

There are a lot of people who gain a lot from airdrops as well as shit coins and meme coins so much that it is their full time job. I still believe in Bitcoin, as it is one of the most tested and trusted crypto currencies that I know, but that does not mean that I won't invest in and take profit from Altcoin if I see any opportunity to do that.

To me, altcoins, especially memecoins, are treated as perishable investments, which means if one doesn't take his time, it will result in a loss of funds.

If you can conduct your research carefully and see any memecoin that will benefit you, then buy and sell immediately after you see profit. That's how I treat memecoins; they are not to be held for long before the person's investment will sink with it.

Bitcoin will rise, no one has a doubt about that. Bitcoin is the dominant coin and altcoins only rise after Bitcoin's bull run but we have to be realistic, Bitcoin isn't going to grow 100x of its value or something similar. The market capitalization of Bitcoin is huge, the price of this coin is huge, and it's not going to rise from 60K to 600K, that's not gonna happen. It will probably rise a maximum of 3x-4x of its current price.
Altcoins are not a bad investment choice but memecoins, they are a hit or miss. Memecoins carry no value, absolutely zero but it's a well-known fact that people invest millions of dollars in it. If you are lucky and the memecoin that you bought will become mainstream, you'll earn a lot of profit. It's no different from the HI-LO game.

Honestly I doubt this. Once someone can profit easily from altcoins, how can they convert those profits into a slower growing asset (bitcoin)? Instead, they will continue to reinvest in meme projects or projects that they think will continue to bring them high returns. Surely many people will say that they will still follow that model, but I really don't believe it because no one doesn't like to make money quickly and restraining greed is not easy. If they could restrain their greed, they wouldn't have invested in altcoins and memes in the first place.

Those things that circulate are probably the things that they want you to see and it's always going to be that way if you are trying to promote something like NOT. I realized that I had lost a chance to profit from it because I saw it a while back when it's not trending as it is, but of course, IF I had profited from it, it would be to buy more BTC.

What is value of shit Notcoin?
I can not find true value from that shitcoin but in a bull run, when new participants saw impressive growth of Bitcoin, Ethereum and some leading memecoins like Dogecoin, ShibaInu, PEPE, they will almost ignore all risks to purchase Notcoin. This advertisement will trigger their greediness and carelessness to more easily spend money.

They would literally inspire others who have the same believe that meme coins can make them rich even if they don't invest in Bitcoin. I believe secretly everyone who are investing in meme coins have a secret objective.

I remember my early days in the forum and every single member investing in the altcoin market had a single objective to convert all or a part of their gains to Bitcoin.

I am not aware of what is happening now as I am too busy accumulating more Bitcoins. While, some of you are still trading altcoins or meme coins and I would like to ask from you guys that;

Notcoin is so popular because anyone can earn this coin free by just tapping game on telegram. It useless token yet being popular due to the free money it promised to everyone that will play the useless game.

Those who earn this coin is the one being eager to boost the price for their own holdings sake. This kind of marketcap comparison to Bitcoin or other big marketcap altcoin is rampant on social media shill.

Yes, that’s my end goal. I believe on the sustainability of Bitcoin that it can be existing even a decade due to it’s real decentralized feature unlike altcoin that has team who holds the most number of token supply.
