No idea where people found this:
It's only been the MPOE address for ~8 months now, I'd guess pretty much everyone knows it by now.

Anyway: this is closed now. Something like 7 people tried, a total of 4 got it (notme, kakobrekla, brendio, finway).

I'd say the results clearly prove the user unfriendliness point. We'll see if Mr. P can be talked into doing something about it.
What, I didn't get it?  Huh

Go with the instructions, you'll reach a point where you're instructed to send the bitcoins to this address.

Darn, I guess I forgot about this until after the due date.

No idea where people found this:

?

I had to get it from that guy who posted his transaction.

Your website could use some user friendliness before I start promoting it with other people.

Futures are definitely what bitcoin needs, but we also need it to be easy for merchants to use to hedge their sales in bitcoins.

Seems the transaction had gone lost - I'll resend using the bitcoin client (was using blockchain.info)
edit:transaction https://blockchain.info/tx-index/3239608/15df4dbe8981f9f52e644f7a2e4eed93a95d138588d48d2e06b38721b7921733
Seems that I've found the problem - I forgot to include a fee with my last transaction  Embarrassed

Seems your input got lost or something? Still shows as unconfirmed in blockinfo. Weird.

brendio, you got it

kjlimo, be so kind as to edit your post and remove the plaintext email. Also please never post people's emails in plaintext. If you do not understand why this is a problem, please learn about email harvesters. The email is linked in three places on the page, if that is insufficient for your needs it may be the case you don't qualify for free option contracts.

finway, you need to complete the listed steps.

OK, I changed it to ta picture.  You don't mention that the link in your signature is the site we're talking about... I don't like to send e-mails to random people probably for the same reason you don't want your e-mail "harvested."

However, I still can't find the address I'm supposed to send a satoshi to...  Maybe I don't qualify for free option contracts b/c I can't figure out the riddle?

I like to think I'm smart, but I could be wrong...  Thanks for insulting my intelligence!

I can't find the exchange address.  Is it the sample "strong e-mail" posted on the site?

Is this the right e-mail?

Better?

i think OPTIONs are really good for bitcoin to overcome the volatility.
That indeed they are. Many people could benefit from it in fact, but I think not many know about how to use options yet.

don know how to play, can you elaborate?

Hi there.

For the entire weekend (starting now through 11th of March, 23:59:59 GMT) MPOE is giving away one at the money (ATM) CALL or PUT contract, at your choice. So if the BTC/USD is 4.93 you would receive either a 4.5 CALL or a 5.0 PUT. If it's 5.05 you receive either a 5.0 CALL or a 5.5 PUT.

In order to be credited, you have to a) post here; b) send an email with your bitcoin address, the contract type you want and your forum name; c) send one satoshi (0.00000001 BTC) to the exchange address. These last two steps are pretty much the same as if you were buying options on MPOE, the first step is to make sure nobody makes 5000 fake emails just to get free options.

You can sell your contracts at any later point or let them exercise automatically on month end.

Happy MPOE stress testing weekend to you all!
