First of all I want to say that it is not about 20 days of free domain, but it is the choice of a name.
Peoples invests thousands to get their favorite name for their business.
Regarding address,
That is the same thing I was thinking yesterday. I also not wanted to provide my contact details to a unknown person.
So for this reason I have already contacted namechecp support for a solution yesterday.
They told me when I will push the domain to a new owner, then the new owner will be able to see my details in email confirmation but not in namecheap after transfer.
Then I asked them for a solution, support agent told me to set the new owners address prior to the push.
And he also confirmed that if the new owner fake out their address then it will be a crime by law.
So if you guys have a better solution then you can tell me.
Otherwise I will let the domain to expire and you guys maybe can get ownership by buying from the auction.
