Nah, Crazy good deals are Chelan, Douglass, and Grant county PUCs in Washington - 2 of them under 3 cents KWH standard rates, the other under 5.

OK, crazy deals without uprooting...still, 8.8c beats Cali and Northeast.

Well there were/are CRAZY good deals in TX if you want only 3 or 6 mo power with GEXA or Reliant. Like 6.5-7c/kwh.
I chose 12mo without day/night. It comes to 8.8c/kwh if >2kw (and in TX even your regular A/C gives you that much in May-October)
Champion Energy-awesome service so far (been with them for a few years).
have to get the discount price, though, through powertochoose.org

Yes, I am. Comes out to 8.925 cents per Kwh if you run a 1KW miner 24 hours a day.

So it appears that wind power generation is so successful in Texas that they are giving away free power during off-peak hours to promote using electricity during these times.

From 7-10am and 7-10pm power is free!  I don't have time to work the ROI math, but I have to think that this is a good opportunity for some home miners to fire up a bunch of gear 6 hours a day and try to make some coin.  Anyone here from Texas?  I'd love to hear about how people plan to take advantage of this offer.
