Yes, just like flu. It's a matter of widespread vaccination, updated when necessary to counter new variants. Covid19 will not go away, but it can be controlled, and life can return to normal. Countries with advanced vaccination programmes are already seeing the benefits.
So, to summarise: Covid19 is like flu in the sense that it will stay with us, and will be controlled through vaccination, updated when necessary to counter new variants.
