Thanks all for the replies, no right answer yet though 
I have not started with knifes yet, i have not found the time. Hopefully one day... also i would need another setup in my atelier for that.

as promised, i will give away FREE jewelry. A free set of earrings, made by me. They are made with the technique of Mokume Gane:

The materials used are sterling Silver and pure Copper.
The process of making Mokume Gane, starts with layering sheets of different materials together.
If you want to win these earrings, for free (you just pay shipping, 10 euro within Europe, 20 euro outside Europe)
you have to guess, how many layers i used for these earrings. One guess per person, and the first one to guess right, wins!
