Yes, as the second person said, Preev can be a tool for that, though I’m not sure if they offer anything like price alert. But at least, one good thing about them is that their price is always accurate. Even mobile wallets like Coinbasecan do such, but the way it works is a little different. Wow This is awesome. It is of a great use for almost all of us who can't manage to sit all the time in front of a computer system to look at the crypto prices for the purpose of trading. I will definitely look for it in the future as currently I don't have enough investment in trading and alts, I have a very little value holdings of the alts but still i think it will be helpful.

I think you can write this pretty simply yourself. Use the live updating data from preev for btc if needed. You can pull that info and send it as a notification to your own email or use a service for sms'ing it to yourself. Also one other thing is that if you simply search btc to usd on google, you should be able to get a quick update directly on the browser.

This is a pretty good idea, especially I always watch the prices if it is going up or down but sometimes I forget to watch the prices and I lose the
opportunity to buy or sell.

I just hope it isn't too complicated, as I am not really a coder or even an enthusiast when it comes to coding and doing such stuff.

Haven't came across such an service that gives alert about the price variations of bitcoin happening with time. There are few applications that give updates regarding the different currencies that we have been invested into. One among the popular application is the blockfolio.
