Easy, I would bet with it until i make 75$ and buy an Amazon gift card.
XMR is quite stable as i saw in yobit. It needs little promotion, that's it.
I can always exchange it with BTC with other people. 50$ would be a good addition to my laptop's cost

That would buy a nice starter package in CryptoKingdom: land, horse, a few pigs, and without mortgaging the dividend.

btw looking forward to join CryptoKingdom when it resumes  Smiley

You'll make Prince in no time. The county game is the big loss--if you missed the early sign-up (they're like chains that you can manage at your discretion), costly, but they offer power users the type of precision they need to make functional replicas (this is reddit, meets Warcraft, meets free market decentralization or not) the real tests are in implementation, as sophisticated product as this is--there are endless complications. Risto's mad-genius is a Tesla fused with market and game theory and juiced on Sid Meier's sense of history. Interesting to play. Though the RPG aspects really need fleshed out, the strategy aspect is pretty well organized and the market functions are as sophisticated as anything I've ever played, and if economic warfare is your method for intoxicating gameplay, it's the one for you.

And while I miss the complicated design aspect associated with buildings, there is probably a current design system that could be latched on and made to fit....

That's my short version.

Ok imagine this:

U get $50 for free in Monero

But u can not exchange it. U must spend the Moneros.

What can and what would u use it for?

Where wouldcha spend it ?

~CfA~

I would buy some sort of Art I can put in my home with the coins.

How do I get the free coins now? =)

I would swap the Monero into BTC and buy something digital online. But I guess that is a violation of the spirit of the exchange if not quite the letter? Alternative is to hoard it and wait for more utility use cases to emerge

You can use this and pay any btc merchant with XMR:

Not much choice around right now to spend monero at. I'd definitely just keep it and then wait for a miracle to happen like the one happened with bitcoin's value.

Or one can simply wait for a while before spending the XMR. Consider someone gave you 50 USD worth of Bitcoin say in January 2011, Waiting for a while before spending the Bitcoin would have made a lot of sense.

I did not see a time limit in the OP's post by when the Monero had to be spent.

Thats right! There aint no time limit.

But its important to specify where u would spend it

Most likely an all cash market price offer on some fancy piece of real estate in a prime market.

If we're talking about spending the Monero as-is, I would buy a cryptostorm VPN subscription for a year. I've been meaning to get a VPN for a while, I just haven't gotten around to it. Otherwise, I would just use http://xmr.to to buy $50 of something anywhere BTC is accepted, and that's a lot of places..
