Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending

Too bad glbse shut down; otherwise we can sell shares to fund a mining spaceship.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing. Anyone to set course on 55 Cancri E?

I've been thinking that bitcoin is exactly like EVE Online, except with GPUs instead of spaceships.

But! If bitcoin has spaceships, that joke doesn't make sense. And I don't make much sense to begin with.

Therefore, you have robbed me of all the potential adsig revenues I would have earned as a famous successful internet forum celebrity comedian. All of it. Both bitpennies. Thief! Scammer!

...unless I get a free ride on the first spaceship.  Wink  And maybe a chunk of the planet, to remind me of my happy trip. A big shiny chunk in a big shiny gold ring. If I had one of those on my hand, I don't see why anyone else would deserve a scammer tag.   Grin

And a happy trip it would be, for while in your deep sleep, MHALL played by Dank will be piped in to your mind as an endless loop. Enjoy the ride!

boulder sized diamonds.

Now, this guy has the right idea. Polish those up, glue a ring under it, sell them for bitcoins, and watch women start to show real interest in bitcoin.   Grin

How do you chop up a planet made of diamond?  With diamond saws drug along for the journey?

EXTERIOR: DEEP SPACE

Slow pan over the outside of a spaceship. Dramatic classical music. Diamond-tipped cutting teeth line the ship's metal jaws, suggesting that the prop designer likes sharks and dinousaurs. An unneccessary lens flare lights up the largest tooth as the ship drifts past the local sun. A single sharply distorted note adds a threatening edge to the music for a second.

As this scene begins to fade into the next, the camera lingers on the rear of the ship, where the words "Made possible by bitcoin and DremelTM" are etched in huge letters above a QR code, below which are smaller letters reading "need dilithium put qr on ur main screen to donate thxn!"

With jackhammer. Diamond is brittle against impacts. Use dynamite or ANFO to blast off boulder sized diamonds.

Supply and demand and scarcity. If we can get more diamonds than mass of our earth, the diamonds will be less valuable than dirt we are walking on every day.
