@Anick, I'm glad you managed to solve the problem, and you learned something along the way Wink

The difference between the two crypto wallets is more than obvious, so while it makes sense to run Bitcoin Core, it's much easier for beginners to use a lightweight wallet like Electrum that takes tens of megabytes of data to work. What you need to keep in mind is that if you have a larger amount of BTC, you need to consider a safer storage option - whether it's a hardware wallet or a properly designed cold storage.

The most likely problem that you don't see transactions is that you have to let the wallet sync, that is, take over all the blocks. So let the wallet sync to end, and then you should see all the transactions.

Alternatively, you have the option to retrieve private keys and enter them in another wallet that does not require you to download the entire blockchain. The recommendation is Electrum --> https://electrum.org/#home

However, if you decide on this option, be careful to download a legitimate wallet and have a virus/malware-free computer. More information on how to extract private keys from Bitcoin Core --> Export list of private keys from BitcoinCore

electrum = OK 99,99% everything loaded works, loaded for 1min..

bitcoin core 22 + blockchain 410GB = KO.... I'm still waiting for the day for 2 transactions from December 2021, not read in 24 hours!!!

electrum - works fast - 1minute

bitcoin core 22 - does not work - 24hrs

thank you electrum

Yes of course, but while if a private key is been misplaced and their is a sufficient coins in the wallet, people always portray that you can't retrieve the coins again? i know it's possible to retrieve but is very difficult to achieve, but many process is attached to it, i have not done it, but through your reference link i will make findings.

If the problem is that the wallet is not synced or in the case of OP the whole blockchain is not downloaded then the thing is very simple - either let the wallet do what it takes, or export private keys and import them in some trusted SPV wallet (Simplified Payment Verification) which does not require hundreds of GB of data. If you follow the instructions, you can do everything in 5-10 minutes, but as things like this require caution at every step, there is no need to hurry.
