I have used Fiverr with pretty good results.  Would be a good option for both buyers and sellers.

It's a cool option for program, web developer, graphics designer 3D model artists to work and earn right from home's desk. Well there are many website that do offer freelancing work. The best one i will suggest is freelancer.com. which is flooded with opportunities have a look at it

Yes there are many sites nowdays and one of the biggers is freelancer.com.
Next two bests are i think Fiverr and Upwork.com but i think Fiverr is much better than upwork as chances of getting work are higher there .
And if you are looking site where you can get paid in bitcoin then https://www.xbtfreelancer.com/ will the best for you.

Fiverr, freelancer and upwork. But never ever do a job that tells you that you need to pay an entrance fee before you work.

Fiverr and Odesk are quite known and used all over the world. On a side note, I like Fiverr because accept Bitcoin as a payment option.
You can try on Fiverup.com too... it is a sort of Fiverr clone  Grin

Upwork and Freelancer are the two that I'm familiar with, although I'm sure it's not hard to find reliable and trustworthy freelance websites out there.

elance, ,freelancer , fiverr , odesk and there are many more . All of them are paying one .
Please go and google to get more of them and yes, always read user reviews .
I personally think those three are enough but try also checking reddit they also have job post there, you just needed to sell all of your talent and make sure that your credential is always ready. good luck to your hunt mate.

I've used Freelancer in the past, the escrow system was a bit of a pain at the time but they've probably improved since then. Guru.com seems to have popped up high in the search engine results, I've never heard of them but maybe they are an established player. It can be best to feel out each site with 2-3 projects a piece, see which have the best results and you'll build an advantage over others.

UpWork.com (formerly elancer)... The one with which I used to work and was pretty satisfied. Don't know their current situation though.

Fiverr and Freelancer are the biggest platforms.
You can choose peopleperhour or upwork as well...
Your question isn`t very specific.
