I know Freerolls and GTD tournaments are two different type of poker tournaments  Wink, but which one do you prefer?
Freerolls, low prizes and high number of participants or GTD tournaments with high prizes and lower number of participants?

Both are actually made for a poker website promotions, although I prefer on GTD because it require some amount of money to get into and player play up more serious during GTD . Freerolls are great contest basically if you are still trying on the site, since it doesnt require anything to join, so some players actually tried up their luck by all in the chips, making the game less fun

I agree with you Shulio.I really don`t like when in freerolls, players win through luck by all in their chips. Angry

Actually you can't compare between them
Players like both of them
but if you are not good at poker or you don't have a good bankroll then of course freerolls are the best
But when player have a good bankroll and good skills they should benefit from both of these tourneys

I prefer Freerolls, low prizes and high number of participant  Grin

I think if we can find freerolls with high prizes and low number of participants would be the best  Grin

It's interesting that when you posted this exact same thing on reddit

http://www.reddit.com/r/poker/comments/31876c/gtd_vs_freeroll/

you posted it under "bits_poker".  The only previous posts from that user were to promote the bits poker site.

"Bits_poker" is a user here and promotes the bits poker site.  It's reasonable to assume that the "bits_poker" on here and the "bits_poker" on reddit are the same person...which begs the question: why create a brand new name to post this?

I'm new here, and I found the question interesting. I didnt share any links!

Well , GTD aren't always with low number of participants. Its just a guarantee by the casinos that they will give out this particular amount in prize money irrespective of how many register. But most of the times, its more than the prize money amount that gets registered.

Both are different, freerolls is free money and GTD with less participants is more inviting to play.
