Unfortunate me. Other night, I had total 6 bet placed and won one only. Tonight, I placed bet after watching Messi, Neymar, Mbappe, Di Maria is starting XI & thought it was supposed to be an easy win for them. I really need a break; I can't overcome the losing streak

A surprising result was obtained in the French league. Having won 8/8 in League 1, Paris SG lost 2-0 to Rennes and received their first defeat this season. Nice beat Brest 2-1.
I saw them at the end when Herera came in. If you look at the game, it seems they were too hasty in sending the ball into the penalty box, their distance was too wide. Even the players did not move, to open the space. They tend to wait for the ball to reach their feet. Even I see PSG always struggling when they get a quick counter-attack. Luckily at the end the referee was careful and did not give a penalty for Rennnes. They deserved to lose today, PSG didn't play well.

They want to boost morale by winning the league. I think of Marseille as the team that is closer to victory.

Epic fail!
The fluctuating Rennes was able to win vs the used to be unstoppable PSG... I feel there was some underestimation on the opponents or kind of hype for their performance.. Anyway PSG still has a solid points difference for now.
I always thought PSG wasn't unstoppable after watching the way they have been winning, sometimes it take a break of luck or a late winner, I knew it will not continue for long, Neymar, Messi and mbappe are only names if they don't have a connection with one or two fantastic mid-fielders this is what made Barcelona great even before Messi,. Suarez and neymar formed MSN, PSG need that in their team. The fluctuating Rennes was able to win vs the used to be unstoppable PSG... If PSG lose points against Rennes, they will be able to decrease the point difference with them too.

I watched this game and every minute I got irritated, PSG attack was almost non-existent, Messi, Neymar and Mbappe and Icardi and DiMaria seemed to lack motivation, it was as if they weren't even on the field. honestly, PSG is bad on defense, the opponent could easily do what he wanted and PSG's defense was bad
I'm glad I didn't bet on this game

A team with good defend can do a lot in football, but in the case of PSG it's a strong attack that basically breaks a strong defense. Rennes was lucky today, Messi hit the crossbar, and the goal was canceled through the VAR. But that rarely happens this season. We are starting the new match week by the Lens - Reims match. Lens are one of the in-form teams lately. They are at the 2nd place now. Reims didn't have as good start as them. Lens can take advantage of the weakness of their opponent and continue to win here. Their last head-to-head match in the league in this stadium ended by a very big score like 4-4. This time, Lens can be the winning side.

In theory the players of PSG are very good and many players on the bench are dream players of other teams.Draxler, Paredes, Icardi, and many players don't have a position in main squad. With current squad PSG can create too many records in Ligue because they have all which are very important for win with the entry of Messi now they have some better worth in Champions League as well. Just something strange happen then we can feel bad for them like too many injuries like Liverpool have last season than they can feel some pressure but right now they are able to thrash all teams of Ligue without any serious threat and in some circumstances they can go through without any lost in all season. In French league, no other team is using funds like this.

Lens are leading 1-0 against Reims now. They are really lucky that their competitor got a red card in the last moments of the first half. Lens scored the penalty and got ahead. This is the 9th game for Lens and Reims. Lens will most likely win this match because so far they have been quite successful in trailing PSG in second place in the standings with 15 points. The defense of Lens and Reims doesn't seem strong enough so that both teams are predicted to score goals in this match. But Lens looks like it's still going to be an easy win today.
PSG is presently the only unbeaten club in the Ligue 1. They won their 8 matches straight without drawing or losing any. Without any doubt, PSG will surely win the Ligue 1 title this season, which they won last in 2019/2020 season. They also got a nice squad, which can't be beaten easily. I never expected them to win Manchester City with clean sheet in the Champion League, and also Messi finally scored he first goal in PSG, which I think will definitely boost his morale. I can't wait to see him play against Rennes on Sunday.
Although PSG managed to win in their 8 Ligue 1 match so far, but in the last few match their victory has never been easy. Remember how they fought to beat Lyon and Metz? They had a hard time winning it and were lucky enough that they scored before the final whistle. Jump to:
