This error, using GIUMiner-Scrypt Alpha. Do I need to disconnect one of my two monitors or something, is that all it really is? Two monitors, two cores, disable one monitor, give mining the other core? I'm confused Smiley

Thanks a lot, whenever I have a spare BTC or two I'll send it your way!

Your welcome and if wanting to do something like that send them to ckovalis the maintainer of cgminer.

I just tried diablo miner and getting the same results. I'm only mining on one GPU...

am I missing something?

Dummy plugs on the cards without a monitor connected as I remember reading that they were needed when using windows as it does not see/use the card without one.

OH gosh. I am an idiot. I'm sure that's it. /end thread

It seems the problem is with my computers settings/drivers since all miners are only detecting 1 GPU core. Or maybe I am missing a dependency? I thought it was possible to DL the windows ZIP and not have to compile anything...

All drivers are up to date.... am I missing something?

It seems like it wants me to use --gpu-map  Huh Huh

But I have no idea what the description of the syntax in the README means:

--gpu-map      Map OpenCL to ADL device order manually, paired CSV (e.g. 1:0,2:1 maps OpenCL 1 to ADL 0, 2 to 1)

Any help is appreciated... I've only mined on BAMT before which is mostly plug and play.

- Fresh Windows 7 64bit Installation
- All drivers are up to date
- All 3 video cards (5970, 5870, and 5770 are detected by Windows) (in device manager under video adapters)
- CGMiner "cgminer-2.8.7-win32.zip" version downloaded from here: http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/
- .BAT file containing: cgminer.exe -o http://coinotron.com:8322 -u CoinHoarder.MineCart -p password --auto-gpu --gpu-fan 75 -I 8 -T

-RESULT: Only mining on GPU0 very slowly Shocked None of the other cores are even mentioned. I also tried pulling up GUIMiner which could only see GPU0 also, could not mine on the other GPUs.

Here is the cgminer output:

C:\Users\user\Desktop\cgminer-2.8.7-win32>cgminer.exe -o http://coinotron.com:83
