All of that are coincidence and nothing is expected,Look at 2017 when the halving is in effect we have already reached 1221$ and thats the beginning before hitting the all time high in december.

and how can you say unlucky when there are still good tomorrow comes after those you called unlucky?

You know it is like to blame clouds for your sad mood. Personally I do not see something strange or special in the number 13, or Friday with data 13, as well as in black cats or moonlight or whatever. In my opinion people believe in such things that they create in their heads.  The crypto world or Bitcoin lives without any connection to the spiritual or mystic things. Of course it has some its own rules, and that is all. And nothing more.

Lol, we can't just draw conclusion here, just because it's friday the 13th means that the price of bitcoin is going to be that low, coincidence.

Other people also say that the Lunar Chinese New Year will have a positive effect on the price. Every year we hear that, but it's not always the case, it also means that there are no correlation whatsoever. You can trade - buy/sell whenever you want.
We shouldn't really be surprised anymore about this kind of people who would connect everything to the Bitcoin price maybe if some celebrity dies and crypto price happens to move in some way they would also connect it to the death of that celebrity.
All I am saying is no matter what event it is they would use it to create something and connect or ask if it is connected to the price movement of crypto.

I have seen people bring up issues like this at times. Maybe you’re right or maybe not, but someone once posted about Valentine’s day effect on Bitcoin, and said something about the price going up every Valentine’s day. And from what he posted, I can see that the price usually goes up on every Valentine’s day. So same things seems to be repeating every year, but I don’t think it’s really that.

These might be just some coincidence and does not really mean that the same thing that happened in the past years are repeating itself again now and will also do the same in future. Not true. But there are days or events that are worth taking note of, because they will always have some effect on the market.

This is not tend to happen and there is no history repeating here mate so there
are nothing to expect in this scenario .
Such predictions are harmful for the crypto community, because traders will start to panic and sell.
For weak person yeah it will effect them but in these days?nope there are no panicking will happen because OP is just stating something here.
You can't simply draw conclusions from your superstitions that it affects the flow of the market. You could believe the Black Monday though, this is common happening in the market where most of the day a stock fall is mostly Mondays.
and yeah the Old talks about Friday the 13th is already revealed that there is nothing true about the coincidence happens in same dates.

In my opinion only superstitious people can connect some things or events that can not be connected at all. And after that explain just ordinary things through something mystical. It is like the black cat))) it is only colour, but lots of people see some mystical signs in it))) Bitcoin is not an exception. Every year and every month something happens to it's price)) and even every day)))) because it is a market))) and it can not every time be in increase or in decrease all the time))

I don't have the foggiest idea whether this was arranged, or a fortuitous event, yet the worth decrease this Friday was actually very serious. indeed, i think that the decrease is that was terminated from Friday in earlier years. in any case, the excellence in value decrease that's happening now's altogether different from a year ago's circumstance. All things considered, I'm worried about the likelihood that that the recuperation that's happening starting now and into the foreseeable future are going to be somewhat more slow despite the very fact that it's driven by Halving.

What makes you so sure that the same thing is going to happen on the 13th of March 2021?
You just never know what’s going to happen, it might end up being a different case.

I don’t know why a lot of people are fond assuming that something that happened before is going to be repeating itself in the cryptocurrency market. Earlier this year I saw someone that claimed that prices goes up every Valentine’s day, and so? Let’s stop predicting the future by using events that took place in the past, we rather wait and see what the future holds and we only hope for the better.

It would be a more better proof if you just show charts and sources about this topic because i think it is just a coincidence for bitcoin to have a low price on the day of March 13th, and to be honest bitcoin just started to decrease it's price this year before march 13th came up.

It is true that the 13th day of the month this year was really unlucky for us and also for those people who are holding bitcoin right now because they are probably experiencing a huge losses right now and also to those people who are just buying when the price is around $9,000, but I can also called this as an opportunity to buy and stock a bitcoin right now especially that the value of it was very down.

It is not because its friday then everything is related for being unlucky, but maybe there is a coincidence that sometimes it is the exact thing that is happening. It's not that the bitcoin have decreased its price means that during march 13 is the unlucky date for bitcoin. The real thing in times like this is to execute and make a plan instead of being stressed because of the losses. We need to make some adjustments and think for a possible solution, like having effective transactions in bitcoin.

but I can also called this as an opportunity to buy and stock a bitcoin right now especially that the value of it was very down.

The key here is to buy at your own risk, we don't have any idea when its price will strive a higher price again. You need patience here if you really seize the opportunity to buy huge amount of bitcoin. You know that the bitcoin is in a downfall these days, you need to be accountable for your actions. Make decisions and think critically to avoid regretting of buying it, don't trust bitcoin too much, instead invest some amount for businesses.

Actually i forgot about this Friday the 13 thing until i read this topic lol,Yeah another coincidental event.

imagine in 13th Friday Market falls that bad again, and not just that because this is the  lowest fall in a day for the 10 years existence of Bitcoin.

but it is not Unlucky i think because the whole market is experiencing same situation from Stocks to real estate and even in Oil so what to expect?this is commonly a tolerable because we are still holding in $5k level.

The $9200 in 2018 is not so bad because we're already jn the bear market. Also the 2020 price isn't exactly accurate because the price is on the $5200-5300 level. I'd say that this friday the 13th comparison is not exactly true. The is just extremely volatile and subject to wild swings, it got nthing to do with any superstitious event.

It was unfortunate that we are experiencing this covid19 ahead of the coming bitcoin halving. I don't believe news affects bitcoin price before but I get corrected it really affects like what we are having now. I guess some whales ride the situation and it cause everyone to panic, fuds everywhere but we are fine for sure it will recover soon.

If you see from the data the Bitcoin price is from 2019 and 2020 on the same date 13 March. That on the same date there is an increase. But that could not make the benchmark that on 13 March 2021 the Bitcoin price could be higher.

If I think the analysis is very good because it can increase confidence. Now the value of Crypto assets decreases due to the impact of news Covid-19 virus. And I hope that the year 2021 Bitcoin can be higher than today.

OP, before you ask people about the BTC price prediction in 2021, can you tell us the conclusion of the thread above? I think I don't really get your point. Do you mean that every March 13th is the worse price ever in each year? Anyway, you need to have more complex research to prove it.

It is true that the 13th day of the month this year was really unlucky for us
On what month, buddy? I bet not all people are unlucky at that time. Some may have a lucky day.

I just consider the bad date as a myth, and it has nothing to do with the decline in the market lately. This is just a connected fact, while there is another technical thing that makes more sense, the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic which also disrupted the global economy. Let's think logically and use this opportunity as best we can.

It isn't about the way the seem to reoccur or something like that. Cryptocurrency is volatile. If you want bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to increase in price, you need to do what I call "spreading the word". Tell people about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Tell them what it has to offer. The more the adoption, the more the demand. The more the demand, the more the increase in its worth.

Some have to believe about Friday the 13th as bad luck but it was just before. Think that we are passing such kind of belief, it was just a coincidence that the market drops during that day, nothing that correlates that. I have to say that anything could possibly happen in the market, remember how volatile we are and it was been fueled by the recent health issues making it worse. I have to say that Friday the 13th is not the reason for this because there is no reason also why it affects the market but rather to put blame into people who are in panic selling.

I think that the price of bitcoin will be around $ 6000-6500, but if it is more, I will not be very upset, I think, like everyone else. Moreover, we have half as much, and this should, albeit slightly, help to increase the cost of bitcoins due to a decrease in the supply from miners.

Not sure about that because if we want to be better then continue to do our best from now to get good in the future, seeing the previous price is indeed an analysis that can be done but I think the date or number 13 does not have any correlation to something negative. Every year at least there will always be a different situation and this will certainly affect the price of bitcoin and other crypto, so no one can estimate the exact price for a year later.

Looking at your analysis I think it's appropriate for us to take into account. If it were said that a coincidence? Yes, maybe it's true. However I personally by looking at it sure if in 2021 years the Bitcoin price will be higher than today.

In a few days, we see that a sharp decline can occur. This is due to the impact of the spread of virus Covid-19. And we hope that this plague is a fast ending. This analysis we can consider for the year 2021 and still invest in Bitcoin.

It is just a mere coincidence that Friday the 13th and bitcoin price dip was on the same day. Reality still lies with the fact, coronavirus outbreak all over the world.
Sure it was you can't just draw conclusion behind these dates especially when there is nothing event on that particular time. You could've compare the prices of bitcoin in the near coming of halving every four years, like price on March 2012, March 2016 and now just like creating and concluding patterns. There isn't that much affect of the Friday the 13th, so what if its Friday the 13th?

Are you sure that it is unlucky, OP? Seems like that floor is just raising year by year and I think that's fairly normal for the price actually. Maybe not the best opportunity to buy a lot but for us hodling since the fall from 20k back in the days, this is just a normal day. I've seen the worse which is below 4k last year and it didn't felt unlucky as that was like more opportunity for me to buy more coins to hodl and it paid off as it pushes to 12k around this year, it felt more than worth it.

But if you pay attention specifically for this year it took a few time. You are right that bitcoin has decresed to $4900 but as you can now in the market bitcoin price has been increasing again to $5700 as of now. Even if we pay attention closely when its price decresed below $5000 it has took a few hours, I can see in my local exchange bitcoin price has increased again just took one hour. Your prediction maybe wrong because it will be different, I don't think in march 2021 bitcoin will be decreased again.

It is easy to predict TBH but to be accurate on it is very hard.

Don't base on the past prices of it on the past. What happened right now is because of the leverage exchanges. There are many longs which got liquidated causing the prices to go down Wink. The date right now isn't related to what happened to Bitcoin right now. It is just a coincidence for me that the date Bitcoin went down is Friday the 13th.

Prices on March 13, 2021?? It is hard to predict right now since it is 1 year ahead to the future but I think, Bitcoin's price will be higher that its price right now.
Yeah sure it would be easy to predict because we only have to option just like having a quiz that have a yes or no,True or False answers.
So I would agree with you because at the end it would only be higher or lower price than it's current price right now.
But regarding to the title I don't think that friday the 13th has anything to do with it we are already having a market crash earlier this week.

Bitcoin and other crypto will be fine, going forward and so on.

Talking about the current crypto price, actually this is unexpected, it should be, this year the price has increased, especially Bitcoin, due to natural phenomena such as corona which attack humans in the world, especially China and Italy, as well as other countries, this is what makes crypto prices plummet.

Most people panic and do not focus on crypto at this time, because they are thinking about the fate of his family being attacked by a virus, many people today, withdrawing their assets in crypto at this time to make fiat money.

In my opinion, for the year 2021 can not be said 100% Bitcoin and crypto can recover as it used to be, it really depends on humans in this world who are currently experiencing corona virus attacks, if this virus can be overcome and human life in the world is normal again, that's when crypto will experience normal again, but who knows when it will end with the plague.

Lol, how about 2018? This 2020 is full of global crisis especially when COVID-19 appears, the whole market drastically drops a lot. Even in forex and stocks also drop;
There's a lot of beginners who might take your post seriously. Bitcoin is a very digital and modern, I doubt superstitious like Friday the 13th affects bitcoin. The main reason for the drop is Covid-19, nothing else. The year 2020 is the year of bull run, then why does it drop really big?

I don't think that this is much of a concern but historically speaking, I guess there's something that you can learn on this one at least for newbies and that only tells that bitcoin is always unpredicted.

No one what's next that it will reach. And that doesn't matter anymore whatever the price will be by next year with the same date. As far as our concern, we just keep moving and wherever it lands, we'll just keep the faith and continue our act, to hold and to accumulate.

If the situation with this virus calms down in a few months, with the positive effect of halving the price should be stable and move slightly upward. But all this just in case some new virus does not happen next winter, and that we can suppress the current one. Based on China case, epidemic is there for last 3 months and it is still not over, and in Europe is just start in last 2-3 weeks. We can just hope summer will help us and that scientists will find an effective vaccine.

If we have learned something from this, it is that Bitcoin is vulnerable to such major global crises as everything else on the market. This could have longer lasting consequences for people to perceive it as a store of value, because it fell on the first big test.

Historical data like this and discussions about Friday the 13th should not be taken seriously.
There wasn't a coronavirus global panic in all the Fridays 13ths in 2014-2019.
This isn't even a price pattern,if you ask me.It's just random price levels at random time frames (weeks and months) in consecutive years. You can't analyze such inconsistent data and make any conclusions out of it.
And by the way,Friday the 13th could happen more than once during the year. Grin

I haven't realized that it's Friday the 13th. I don't believe in that kind of stuff though.
I didn't either, and I also don't have that particular superstition.  Also, in my time zone the carnage had already started on the 12th and today on the 13th bitcoin seems to have rebounded from last night when I went to bed.  I was wondering what I'd be waking up to in the morning when I checked preev and was pleased to see bitcoin above $5k.  It still got murdered in the market, but I sort of thought it would be in the $3k range.

But then again, who knows what's going to happen today--bitcoin could sink again for all we know.  As others have mentioned, however, it's not because of Friday the 13th; it's because of the global panic over COVID-19.  I'm curious to see what the stock market is going to do today as well.  It would be nice to see a rebound and maybe some good news for a change.

Sadly I have no more money to buy the dip.
Ugh, me neither--and believe me, I wish I did.  Times like these don't come around all that often, when everything is screaming "BUY!".

This has nothing to do with Friday 13th. I.know that some people are superstitious but the date doesn't anything to do with Bitcoin price.
Currently we are facing the price dump but there are other reasons for that, not the date in calendar.
Anyhow, be clever and use price fall to buy more Bitcoins.

I don't think that is related to that. It is the only coincidence that bitcoin prices finally get dump so hard. I am sure that everything will be okay, and the price will be increased again. We can buy more bitcoin while the price still stays at a $5000 level price so we can have more bitcoin in our wallet. No need to relate to something that we don't know for sure because we don't know what is happen, and we only know that the bitcoin price was down.

Fun fact: the 13th most frequently lands on Fridays. If you think about it, it's statistically more likely for this to happen on a Friday the 13th than any day on the 13th, so there's really nothing unlucky about it lmfao.

But yeah, those prices don't really indicate any clear trends. We also have to consider the fact that our current situation is incredibly irregular considering the coronavirus scare and markets crashing all over.

Friday the 13th was just a traditional belief of the elders and people that eventually has been transmitted by many generations and I can say that this is doesn't have any relationship on the current situation of the bitcoin and the market.
This maybe just a coincidence that the dump of the bitcoin was occur on the 13th day of this month.

As of this day, bitcoin price is so low, but we can not conclude that Friday the 13th has related to the lowest price of the bitcoin, there is no date related to the price of every different cryptocurrency. I think the main reason why the price of the bitcoin drops is because of the COVID-19, which we are facing right now. When the COVID-19 starts spreading all over the world, the price of the bitcoin starts also to fall down, which is somehow related because it is a big problem that we have and some traders or investors might be affected with this so they cannot focus on cryptocurrency anymore.

Friday the 13th is just the belief of traditional people that when it happens there is unlucky thing that might happen, but there is no proof that it is legit, maybe if there is something happen bad on that day, it is just a coincident and Friday the 13th has no relation with that.

I don't know if this was planned, or a coincidence, but the price reduction this Friday was really quite severe. in fact, I think that the decline is that was fired from Friday in previous years. however, the difference in price reduction that is happening now is very different from last year's situation. Well, I'm afraid that the recovery that is happening from now on will be a little slower even though it is driven by Halving.

I haven't realized that it's Friday the 13th. I don't believe in that kind of stuff though. It's all pure coincidence. It just happened to be right on time with that. Don't believe anything else.

Today is bad for Bitcoin, but I really don't think it's because of it being Friday the 13th. It's because of all that panic triggered by the announcement of the pandemic of COVID-19. It's not just Bitcoin that's going down here, it's pretty much every business (apart from pharmacies, I guess) and all major assets. The world leaders are making increasingly concerned statements about the spread of the virus and the number of people who are actually infected in contrast with the official data. Harsher measures are introduced, and people feel very uncertain. Hopefully, things will get better are people get more used to it.
