Since you do not cooperate with the authorities or there is a binding law to comply with such offers,

 - what prevents a person from providing false or inaccurate data?
 - What prevents you from tampering with the inclusion or removal of any NFTs because you are the one who sets the criteria for acceptance or rejection.
 - What is the benefit of NFTs here? I mean, wouldn't it be better to have a centralized service with a website, then the legal details would be easier because you would be responsible for any damage that occurred and managing everything would be easier.

Unless the user alone can set the parameters without your consent, they are not NFTs.

NFT is not something that can effectively reduce the carbon emission because one its not something that is burdening the pollution the way let’s other crypto mining is affecting. It’s effect won’t be much. I’m not sure if this project is promote the pollution free mining or is it self contained project to drive NFT sells through carbon emission free technique.

But yes, this is good initiative. However roadmap needs to be Far clearer than this post.

The main challenge we face is how to effectively remove highly polluting cars from our cities, as following the government's current plan will result in millions of these cars still on the road by 2040.

Personally, I have committed to using up to 1% of our trading profits to buy back high-pollution cars and transform them into NFTs to address this issue. Today there are billion spent to fight climate change, but nowhere can you follow the trace of spending or calculate real CO2 reduction. 90% of climate change-related projects are just scams as well.  I think that is kind of attractive for all the trading communities of the future. It needs to be relocated without a doubt to altcoin section and altcoin speculation even, in there it would get a lot more attention because this is regarding a coin and speculations about that as well, so it is not really that weird.

Do you really think someone will spend 2k$ to buy a car just to destroy it just to get NFT? what is the reason why i should do this? I'm not talking about the environmental benefit because it's here and without your NFT. I say why worthless NFT would convince me.

And if you want to say it's not worthless, then tell me what will give it value.

Our NFT comes with car VIN code and with 4 QR codes on the NFT:
1- Proof of Advertisement - proof that the car has been bought from a public car sales website;
2- Vehicle Possession Certificate - proof that the car has been removed from the government registry;
3- Vehicle Scrapping Certificate - proof that the car has been scrapped and no parts have reused;
4 - Proof of scrapping - video proof of car scrapping;

To reply to this thread, the idea is good but it is only good for the purpose of tracking data, as you said. Any speculation or trading is illogical. On the other hand, a betting/prediction system surrounding the NFTs and their data (i.e. predicting the evolution of a brand/make/model, its value, future data, etc) might be something that could add a monetary aspect in a logical way. Liquidity of the NFTs themselves on the other hand, that's something that you could only make successful with a very large amount of initial liquidity to distribute across all of the NFTs that you are using to track data.

Another question is, if the NFTs are meant for tracking data, then how are they actually distributed? Following this, if they are distributed, then what purpose would there be in distributing them and holding them?

I guess NFTs dont have any logical liquidity solution. If any, then it's high risk.

I think that such thing will not be effective when it comes in reducing the carbon footprint mainly because if in every attempt of reducing carbon footprints is being recorded, it just gonna makes the ones that's trying reduce their carbon footprints sense of achievement and will reluctant in doing more.
I also don't understand how it can be an asset, yea it will reduce the carbon footprint but most certainly it's not an asset, it will just acts like a certificate, and nothing more I even doubt it could ever have value. it just doesn't seem make sense to me at least with my limited understanding.

I do not have a detailed knowledge of how NFT works, but let's take it on the basis, how you will make sure of the car information and the value of its interview, and what is the guarantor of the liquidity of that car.

There are many ways to modify cars, but NFT cannot be modified, so how will these two variables be compatible.

Finally, there is no unified global standard for carbon and the carbon market^[1] that will happen on a global and not personal scale and if it happens on a personal scale, there are better ways than NFT, so what is the distinction of your service?

And what will give value to these NFTs? Merely creating a token out of thin air does not make it have the value/power to change the environment.
Same as with play-to-earn or move-to-earn tokens. People are excited to be paid to play, but they forget that it can't work because on the other hand, there would have to be someone willing to pay you to play.

The main problem of the NFTs is the liquidity problem. If you can use nft fractionalization to your carbon nft, then it will be better.
