I'm curious what speed did you get from the card? I know someone that has one of these cards and he offered it for use. I haven't put it in my system yet to test it out.

How does he even know about Telsa if he's so dumb ? Tongue There's a ton of threads that talk about Amazon's teslas being terrible for mining.   I'm calling shenanigans as well.

Because nvidia owns the business level GPU super computation market. Every time you hear anything about GPU computation (outside of Bitcoin) it is always a server full of Tesla cards.

You are spot on, aside from very specific things (hashing) Nvidia GPUs are generally considered the way to go. OpenCL is helping to change it but the support around CUDA is fairly strong.

So you're interested in bitcoin mining, you put $2k in to a single card, "never really got in to the whole thing", came here and signed up today, and posted it for sale as your first post.

No offense, but I call shenanigans.

THOUGHT I was interested and jumped the gun on this thing....

It's obviously not the ideal card for the job - just figured I'd try here before getting raped by ebay.
Wow. Shakes head. Just wow.  You outta buy some vaseline, you're gonna need it...

So I bought one of these with the intentions of mining the hell out of some bitcoins - but I never really got in to the whole thing like I thought I would.

I have a practically new C2050 that's run for maybe 40 hours TOTAL.

If anyone is interested get in touch - I'm trying to avoid listing on eBay so I don't get killed by the fees.

If you'd like, I'm happy to list the item on eBay so you can view my history and see I'm not some scammer and handle the transaction separately.
