Wait is it just me, I'm looking at that weather and thinking it's great. We get rain sometimes 4 days in a row, heat over 85 4 in a row, stuff like that...not that moderate temp you got there in the OP man!

I see your problem, your fucked up weather report is in dumb-ass Farenheights...

Move to a country with a decent temperature measurement system. e.g. Celsius

A lot easier to understand in laymans terms. Example:

0 C = Water frozen in the front yard

100 C = Water boils on stove

Now lets look at dumb ass F.

0 F = WTF! No one should be forced to live in this sort of shit

100 F = getting nice weather? fuck knows cause it is a dumb ass reporting method
As much as I think we should leave imperial and related goofy systems just because it's internationally confusing and doesn't have many benefits, Celsius isn't much less arbitrary, and I don't think 32 and 212 isn't really any difficult to remember than 0 & 100, while Farenheit is also more granular. If someone can't remember 32 and 212 -- well, I just think we should have a better standard for people. After all, even us Americans can work with it. Tongue

It'd be nice if politicians could agree to some type of compromise reform regarding standards. Globalize Celsius use in exchange for globalizing the period as the radix point everywhere. Maybe us and some of Europe give up on placing the currency symbol before the amount of currency, and in return, we all accept the oxford comma. Hell, I'd be thrilled if we could adopt an intuitive way to measure cuts of lumber over here. I'm still pissed off over the first time I bought a bunch of lumber to replace both decks assuming 2x4 meant 2"x4" instead of 1.75"x3.75", which is absolutely ridiculous. Seriously - I will NEVER buy wood again in this country until that's fixed... I don't care how stupid an aluminum deck will look and how expensive it'll be, I'm not dealing with that shit again.

There is no need to agree on a stantard, because that already happend. Only 6 countries still use that old system.

By the end of the 20th century, most countries used the Celsius scale, rather than the Fahrenheit scale. Fahrenheit remains the official scale for the following countries: the Bahamas,[2] Belize,[3] the Cayman Islands,[4] Palau,[citation needed] and the United States and associated territories of American Samoa and the U.S. Virgin Islands (except Puerto Rico and Guam, with the former predominantely using Celsius and the latter equally using Celsius and Fahrenheit). Canada retains it as a supplementary scale that can be used alongside Celsius.[5][6][7][8]

I personally woudn't mind that weather as long as it isn't in weekend, having a relatively cool week is better than the 30-35C with high humidity after storms
I think the OP is implying that the weather is always this bad.

I was implying the weather is normally not this pleasant for this time of you. To date, I've only been able to harvest one tomato, whereas last year I harvested hundreds in July with a third of the plants.

It's also too hot in my area at the moment. We reach nearly 30°C everyday and the heat feels even hotter because of the radiated heat from the buildings.

More hot weather = more beach time = more girls with more skin.

And, it's now looks like I'm goin' be freezin' my ass off tonight, not to mention showers turnin' to rain come Sunday.
Now you are definitely loosing to London on the weather scale, that really does suck.
Also, still using stupid imperial.

he's probably being sarcastic. i thought chicago was super hot in the summer though. seems like there's inclement weather there.

Yes I was! These temps are subnormal, and Chicago isn't SUPER HOT in the summer, though it had its years.

Lol. Last time I was in Chicago was in 2005 during the record setting heatwave that was killing off all the old people. And the last time I was in the midwest, I was in Iowa during the winter of 2009-2010 during a major cold snap where the temps were plunging down below -40F. From what people were saying, it was the coldest winter they'd seen there since the 1930's. Seems like every time I travel to the middle of the country, it's during an extreme in their weather cycle. Lucky me Tongue

Oh, I see now, it is highest and lowest temperature of day.
I wouldn't say 24 Celsius/75 Fahrenheit is unbearable.

It is 85 Fahrenheit in here atm, makes you sweat if you walk but not unbearable.
I would love if it would be 65-70 Fahrenheit all the time.

For me 85 Fahrenheit+ means writing the day off of all productivity, too hot also for beach unless its cloudy.

I agree on 65-70 all the time would be perfect.

Normally its 85-105 all summer here in Arkansas, but this year i don't think its topped 90 all summer. I remember thinking how weird it was that this summer was so cool. Rained alot too, which is unusual.

And, it all started when those two giant holes opened up in Russia.

Goddamn stupid Imperial measurements though, America is basically the only country in the world that uses imperial.
The UK uses imperial for distances but not mass or temperature.
Imperial temperature makes no sense either, its based on the boiling and freezing points of brine, who even uses brine? let alone not having the freezing point at 0...
stupid Imperial Measurements.

We're trying to convert outta Imperial, starting with Imperial Margarine: weight in kgs, and fat content measured in grams.

I think he was referring to the cloud coverage?

Indeed - I don't think the temps are anything to complain about (between 20..25 C is pretty much the same range that offices and shopping centres use all around the world).

For a harsh experience try going from the middle of winter in Harbin (close to -30 C overnight) to the middle of summer in Melbourne (close to 40 C in the daytime) in a single day (I have friends that experienced that back in January this year).
