Isn't the Speculation forum the FUD forum? 
I think some place to put obvious troll posts or FUD could be a good idea though. However, half of the time you can't tell between a genuine moronic newb question and someone trolling.
Speculation is hardly a science or an art form. Most speculation threads are exactly that; speculation.

Yeah but so many of them are just sensationalist post titles and troll content or terrible manipulation rally attempts. Admittedly Speculation has had it's fair share of stupidity, but I feel the honest / dishonest thread ratio is getting worse of late.
Anyway, modding is probably never a walk in the park to get the balance right, just weighing in my 2c.
