To say my expectations of most of you all here are low would be a ridiculous understatement 

He does not have to talk to you in order to leave you a rating. That's how the current trust system works.

He should have at least specified what it was, but that's too late now anyways.

No, I'm not. All I said is that they are fine, regarding the *mentally unstable* statement. I'm not going to waste my time looking into that. Remember, is this thread about *unjustified* negative ratings on you, or are you going to attack other people? Because if you are, then that will likely cause you even more trouble.

That's not even a bad suggestion. There's a fair amount of invalid ratings, in addition to ratings that are just blatant trust abuse (although not visible by default). However, this would be harder to implement than you think.

I never talked to him him or even on the same topic as him and out of the blue he randomly sent me a PM i can share if you all want and then 14 minutes later i got a death threat by a 1 post account i reported months afterwards.

I have to guess he had an alt-account here where i stepped on his feet.. probably over an Altcoin.

We need a council or tribunal to look at getting ratings removed in special cases i think.
Because all it takes is a guy or two to slap a stupid rating on you and BAM! you have "red trust" fervor and whole lot of re-explaining over & over..

I had iGotSpots and BayAreaCoins leave me negative ratings before and i worked it out with them just fine.
So i have proven i can contact the users and work it out..
And AGAIN in both those cases it had NOTHING to do with any type of trade activity.. but Altcoin crap and "accusations on me"

No, I don't have the time nor willpower to read the backstory of each user.

If you engaged in trades with some DT1/DT2 members, they may leave you positive ratings which would improve your trust rating FYI.

Okay, so Kluge is a no-go. I'd like to hear from Smoothie why you got that 'trust abuse' rating. At least that one could possibly get resolved.

No, that's not it. For the rating to count, you need to be either in Default Trust Depth 1 (aka DT1) or DT2. Everything else (which you fall into) is not visible by default.

And i was simply pointing out a very real link to theymos.
You all are free to come to your own conclusion on that.

Call me paranoid all you want but i find it amusing when random accounts pop up either brand new or old accounts that never talk simply for one reason.. to come at me from out of no where with attacks & insults and more often than not guess what they bring up ?

Of course not i have gotten the same treatment from Cryptsy staff or Poloniex staff and then on the Ethereum IRC channel (by staff) all the same.. to name a few off the top of my head.

I don't know a lot about how the system works technically..
But i am assuming because i have a negative rating here then if i give a user a negative rating then it will not be counted in.. in other words the majority of users will not say a change in their trust level.

Have you tried talking to them directly? Quite some time has passed since you received some of these ratings. If there was ever any chance of getting some of them removed, I'd start with handling "Trust abuse" as two negative ratings on your are regarding this.

I guess Kluge left you a negative rating due to the negative rating that you left on their profile (1 more after). This is my best guess judging by the dates of trust ratings. So you did do something.

Absurd assumptions such as this one would likely get you more trouble if anything.

None of them have ever posted a negative rating that is valid on me.
All of them made up lies to attack me over a personal comment i made that hurt their feelings.
Is that what the Trust Rating system is about ?

I created the topic title using words from David's own quote(s).
This was perceived as BAD Monero news and i was swiftly ganged up on by all of them. (Monero Shill Crew / Foundation ?)
As they took turns trying to down play what happened and twisting it around in me saying i "lied"
When all did was quote what David himself said.

Smooth and smoothie both left me 2 neg's over that drama but Smooth removed his later.

Bottom line is i did nothing wrong.. David Latapie did and that is why he apologized so profusely.
Which i might add was the most intense apology i have ever seen on the internet.
