I usually do "off-the record" projects.. I mean people message me, ask a type of project/job, when finished i send and deal is done.. I don't publicly post those.
Understandable about contracted work, but a portfolio dont have to consist of work done for others. It can be just something you did for fun to show your skills off as well.
Yes i understand your point.. Never had one. I don't usually have time to make things to show off my skills.. Maybe one day!
