I assume you are referring to 'trading' when you said you are leaving your job for full-time-cryptocurrency. This is good but super risky at the same time. Sure, cryptocurrencies are something right now, lots of new millionaires everyday, x10-x100 or even x1000 in a short time. But don't forget that most of the cryptocurrencies are decentralized. Pump and dump schemes in exchanges / market are not illegal because crypto market is not regulated. Not to mention the fluctuative in prices.. you could lose all of your money in seconds.

Unless you got yourself a lot of savings or back-up plans, I think this is a stupid idea and very risky. Maybe if you are good in programming or coding stuff, you can create a good ICO project and devote all of your time in it. This is better!

Is it good to leave my job to dedicate myself to full-time cryptocurrency?
It depends if you have enough funds to support you daily needs without a job. Quitting a job is tough decision to make because here are many things to consider specially when you already have a family to fed.  you have to weigh the risk and the good effect in case you choose full time in crypto.

Is it good to leave my job to dedicate myself to full-time cryptocurrency?

I do not see why having a common life and a normal job should be incompatible with the interest in the subject of cryptocurrencies. I believe that by organizing your daily activities you could carry out a myriad of activities without having to give up everything to focus on this business. In fact, people who have amassed great fortunes with bitcoin were never stuck to their monitors watching the price of cryptocurrencies day and night, so I would not recommend abandoning everything to focus solely on this issue.

Is it good to leave my job to dedicate myself to full-time cryptocurrency?
That is the worst thing you could be doing to be honest. You job gives you stable income. With stable income you will have a stable future with stable security. But crypto currencies are not stable. They are extremely volatile, so just holding and trading will become riskier. It is better to spend just few hours a day on trading and rest for your stable job.

Is it good to leave my job to dedicate myself to full-time cryptocurrency?

My belief in the cryptocurrency market is always intact. However, for me to take that leap of faith and leave my full time job would be such a risk for me. Umfortunately, in my months of being in this industy, I have known that returns from ventures may be realized for months and months, thus, I cannot risk not having a steady source of money to be used for my constant expenses. Maybe that could be possible if you have stored lots of savings that could get you by for months.

It depends on how good you have been doing in the past.
It is a really risky move to make , but i you have made decent money and you think you can make more by going full time you can go for it.
I still feel this space is to new and volatile to go full time at it.

You shouldn't leave your job because cryptocurrency market is quite volatile and unpredictable. You should do trading when you have time provided you are experienced in it and if you don't have time then just diversify your money in some good projects for keep it for long term.

I would like to, but it seems to become a full time to gain money in crypto not suitable for me for a while. My current job, very spend my time.
Yes it happened to me too, my work is also spend my time so for now it's not suitable for me to have full time in cryptocurrency. But i think leave the job for full time in cryptocurrency is worth it because the result can be greater than the salary we received every month
Though chances that we can get much money from crypto  compared to our job but isnt  enough to decide of leaving without any back-up savings. Always remember that crypto isn't stable, it could be anytime will be down.  We can be in crypto even though we have a day job,  is just a way we manage our time properly.

Is it good to leave my job to dedicate myself to full-time cryptocurrency?

Yes, it is if you like it. It's a very strange and pleasant thing to be a boss to yourself. A few years ago when I left my daily job all my family was against my decision. But now I know that it was THE BEST decision ever. I wish you luck.
Did you have backup funds for that time in case of failure? Because if there are no such funds, then it's damned risky, it's almost as risky as participating in the lottery.  Wink

Of course I did and I actually do. I always cash out a part of my funds during the surge for 3-6 months of living. Plus I use a hedge strategy to reduce risks, so I must have a part of my funds in USD to buy crypto at lows. You never know what will be tomorrow so it's better to make backups.
Thank you for sharing your strategy. This is really valuable information, I always thought about using reserve funds, but you explained everything well and now I want to try to use your strategy.  Smiley

Is it good to leave my job to dedicate myself to full-time cryptocurrency?

This is what I tell people when they ask that:

If you've been profitable for at least the last 2 years, have a house, car, money to pay the bills for at least next 3 years and a portfolio worth at least $50k, maybe it's time for you to quit your job.

Before you do so, bear in mind trading is a very lonely job, if you like to work with people you should make plans for the transition or keep a part-time job.

In crypto currency, this can be considered as a part time job mate and I think everything is worth and its not a lonely job to do. Every real situation can be exciting towards everyday task despite of some panic moments which really made us more strong everytime, when we faced those challenging days that a coins that you're having with is going to dump which in fear to die of. Having full time of the crypto currency trading job has given us freedom to face reality in life.

Crypto currency is a good way to earn but the question right now is reliability, with the ongoing issues and government regulations, I’m still not too sure about it’s future, will crypto investment be profitable a year or two years from now? I believe crypto will eventually reach a mutual reconciliation with the government and all matters will be fixed, but as of the moment I still cant leave my current job as I have mouths to feed.

It is depend on your income and expenses and how much you earn from the Cryptocurrency. Those two factors are more important and you should carefully evaluate yourself before asking anyone. There are some dips in Cryptocurrency sometimes and you should ready for that as well. If you can earn more amount from Crypto than your job definitely you can quit your job. But if not you should think twice.

Dont do it i my opinion. You might be making profits now passively trading but its a different ball game when you Have to make profits to feed yourself. There will be good days and bad days and your mood will reflect this.
Its a bit like going pro poker player. Not an easy life, even for the good guys.

I think that's worth it. I personally did not work at work, but if I worked, then I would have left the job for sure, because I could not lose that moment.

I don't think it's a good idea if you don't have a lot of skills related to cryptocurrency cause the price of cryptocurrency is unpredictable sometime you earn but sometime you lose so if you leave your job to focus on cryptocurrency but what will you do if you lose everything with a wrong decision? I think you should keep working with your job and earn cryptocurrency as a extra money Smiley

I have done it but it happened by surprise as I was noticed for my passion in my main craft and was invested in by someone who works in crypto. I now use my admin skills from home to assist with bounty hunting and crypto admin.
