There are many reasons. Avoiding the various problems with exchanges. Transaction fees, conversion fees. For instance there is a fee of 1.49% on total amount of bitcoin one might wish to sell, this might not seem like much but when selling thousands of BTC it accumulates quickly. Too many horror stories of people getting locked out of their accounts on Coinbase. If you refute these claims please explain why. Don't just say "that's bullshit" followed by some childish insult.

Well, I am more interested to listen your part rather than telling mine. So do not expect anything of that sort from me.

@EthanB Hello Ethan thank you for your response. I am dispatched by a Fund that would like to remain anonymous in their venture into Bitcoin. They also want to protect their investment by purchasing BTC under market value. I assumed this was the right platform to post this add.

We have had very little success in finding sellers seeing as how there is some sort of 'Everyone is a scammer' witch hunt going on here in this platform. Even when we clearly state in our previous adds that vetted escrow is to be used.

Either way if anyone has large volume to sell, we are open to discussing terms. Escrow ONLY.

Just wondering, why would someone like to sell at below market price unless they are stolen assets or something like that?

Hey Todd, your thread more realistically belongs in the Currency Exchange section, which can be found here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 . The rules of that section can be found : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/currency-exchange-rules-and-guidelines-594959 .This section isn't for the purchase or exchange of Bitcoin for other currencies, but that section is.

Have you contacted an escrow that is willing to work with your terms already or is this something you plan on having your seller do? There is a list of reputable escrows that would be able to help you set something like this up. You can find the list of escrows here : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/recommended-bitcointalk-escrow-services-2439910 . Most reputable users that are capable of this exchange will not be messaging you on WhatsApp. I would expect a PM on here, or a post within your thread to be the most likely place to be contacted.

Why do you not simply use an exchange that you can verify yourself or your company and purchase virtually endless amounts of BTC? There are better options than what you are attempting to do now. What exactly is "a large amount" of BTC?

I have accounts on multiple exchanges that are verified, and I would have no problem supplying you with Bitcoin if that is something you are interested in doing. I have limited funds myself, so I'm not sure how useful I would be for this cause, but almost anybody has the capability to acquire BTC for cash, so I'm not sure what your need for a partner/exchanger is.
