Yes. My account was hacked. I'm about 2 months off pace from the last project. I'm aiming for the 1Q18 for delivery.

Gotcha..I thought they were making new ones Cheesy

Now I see why the old thread was revived!

It's taking a bit longer than expected, the design is much more complex. I'm locking down the design over the next week and then off to get the vectors completed! Stay tuned.

So you are the designer of these coins? Not the same name as the guy who started this thread. What coin are you designing and when is the ETA?

We'll see, the one I gave my sister has $11k of crypto on it. I'm not worried a bit.

cool story bro...

this is my advice to you to not share that type information with people even if you're just fibbing Wink

The addresses are public. You certainly seem like the type of person with the time to look through them all.

I'd rather build computers tbh.

I own one of these coins and was intending to fund for my youngest daughter as she has the coin in her room. Now knowing OG was involved I'm very glad I didn't fund

Voted yes BUT I think the value on the LTC is too high.

Would prefer loading with lower values as some have pointed out, would not want to tie up large quantity of LTC especially at the current market values.

Lower values also means  more people can afford to buy. Cheesy

You're waaaaay behind the curve on this one fella Smiley

These coins are already out there and sold... I have 2 Wink

Lovely coins.

Sold unloaded, which these days is the better method IMO, saves a lot of grief for those that make the keys and coins should anything ever go wrong.

as we have seen more and more, trust is a delicate thing and easily eroded and not always by your own actions.

This was a prime reason I sold Poker Chips as DIY ... pre-assembled coins are now a minefield for all concerned.

Wait, was this public information before? I think when I reviewed the coins and was deciding whether I should buy or not that I did not know anything about this. You should have probably quote the source (was wondering where you got it from):

I voted Yes, though I am happy either way - funded or not.

I fully agree with rmc's opinion on LTC. I don't have any LTC right now, easy enough to buy some, but I feel that those 84 LTC's are going to decrease in value as time goes on vs BTC.

So, I chose the funded option, but I am just as happy having them unfunded as well.

Thanks

While I cant say whether everyone follows this, if one of you guys are based in the US, you may want to not be the ones to fund these.  FinCen frowns upon funding coins due to AML laws.  Lealana and Casascius changed their model due to this.  Other international coin makers like BTCC or Satori follow by the same rules to US customers, though they are international.  But you may allow/enforce the buyer to fund them, as Lealana does.

FYI: I voted to fund the coins because loaded coins > unloaded ones. I think with such low amounts most people would be fine with them loaded?

If they are going to be unfunded can the hologram not be assembled?

Why would you want this?

Why have someone know the keys to a coin if not needed? I would prefer no keys if it is not loaded also.

Now the next argument would be that the private key can be encrypted, but I wouldn't want this because than the user has to remember the secure password, pass it along when they sell the coin, and if something would happen to them and they did not tell someone else the password or write it down somewhere with clear instructions than the bitcoins are lost forever.

I want a funded coin.  And I certainly don't mind having 0.21 BTC on there, however I feel like the LTC->BTC price may significantly  decrease over time so I would prefer that amount to be less.

Though I can't take part in the poll (because of user class?), I'd like my coin to be funded with the proposed amounts.

Thanks

Not sure if I make sense in the context of the discussion, but I'd prefer coins with lower face values so more number of people can afford the coins. Coins with 0.05BTC or 0.1BTC is what I'd personally prefer, or else better the coins be left unfunded.

Hi all,

We hope everyone's holiday is going well. This poll is to see if people that have expressed interest in our coin project would like their coin loaded with .21BTC and 84LTC. For simplicity purposes, these will be the only 'certified' amounts considered. The funded coins will bear an engraved indicator in addition to COA. The specific engraving has not been finalized, but will likely be the loaded amount with accent in between the public addresses. If there is considerable push back within the community from a collectible perspective (ie. deploying coins in two configurations), this idea will be abandoned and reconsidered for our next project.

Peace, NLC
