You have not tell us maybe truly you log in from the country that was regarded as ban country, if so then maybe you can provide reason why your IP changed. I've seen people talking about VPN so if truly you are using VPN then it is a mistake in your part to have login using the Cuba IP address because almost all centralized exchanges don't like this. I will advise you to provide them detail information why your IP change to Cuba.

If you are not from cuba, they already give the solution. But, since you admitted from Cuba.

IMO the chance your money will going back to you was pretty low, cause on the email they already stated all transaction deposit, trade and withdrawl activity from banned country was prohibited.

Those coins are gone. Next time, use BISQ, https://bisq.network/

DEX is good but we cant deny the fact that these places doesnt really have that crypto/fiat feature on which most
traders or investors do prefer. This is why we do end up on using up centralized ones.

BISQ has fiat, but most of the volume is in U.S. dollars, and Monero. But I believe the OP already holds Bitcoin, which he wants to trade to a shitcoin?

OP?

Hi,

Uhh, either give up or fake it out? I mean, Bitfinex completely has no fault in banning your account ngl. You should've already known that using Bitfinex in Cuba is not allowed and even if you didn't know, just signing up would have brought about that warning already stating that you can't use Bitfinex in your country, but sadly it came up now after you already have your funds inside, that means you were partially or maybe even fully aware that what you are doing is against their ToS. If you do indeed decide to give up then that's that, but if you don't it's either you fake it out or just find someone to help you fix this, butnot here I suppose. Not really the best place to look for help with regards to faking documents imo.

I didnt get you exactly, what solution did they offered? I am Cuba citizen

Had you been logging in through VPN? Was there an IP address leak?

You have two choices. Neither are good. Either declare to them that you are a "Prohibited Person" (resident of Cuba) or take the ballsy approach of trying to produce fake (non Cuban) documents and an explanation for your login activity.

Playing games (the second choice) is usually a good way to get your money confiscated. However to be fair, there are Treasury sanctions on Cuba, which puts you in a very sticky situation as Bitfinex cannot knowingly transact with Cubans.

Sorry to see this, it's a bad situation to be in. Hopefully it's not a life changing amount of money. Undecided

Well, he stated that he IS a citizen of Cuba Wink Bitfinex stated in their mail that:

Thanks for clarification yet im the one who havent able to read up that line .. haha  Grin

Its really hard for this kind of situation on where you cant prove out anything since you violated out their ToS then
you wont really have any choice but to move on and consider those funds already gone.

I don't use Bitfinex, but their "sign up" page should have a menu for which country you are registering in in my opinion.

Dont know if you do read up and understand the email was sent to you by Bitfinex or not but its clearly stated

-snip-

Just follow on what they had instructed and you would be good. Theyre asking for some documentations that prove out your citizenship and your location.
They are the only ones who can solve out your problem not on any people on this forum..

Well, he stated that he IS a citizen of Cuba Wink Bitfinex stated in their mail that:

Quote
Congruent to Section 1 of the ToS, Prohibited Persons, including Cuba residents, are prohibited from depositing to, withdrawing from, or trading or providing or taking financing for any Digital Tokens Wallet on the Site.

Since it is not possible for Cubans to withdraw funds, this is (unfortunately) also the solution to the problem: it is simply not possible.

The only thing left to do here is to contact Bitfinex and ask for other solutions. Why it was possible for the OP to create an account and to make deposits should also be questioned.

"Bitfinex" already gives you some solution you should following the instructions.

If you're not from the "Cuba" but you have an activity traveling to cuba and you doing some activity login to your bitfinex account you should give them an explanation about your case regarding the activity of your account.

IMO, if you don't have any activity on cuba you should contact them first by option 1 before sending any document to them. Maybe you can get another solution about your problem from them.

If you are declaring you are not a Prohibited Person, please provide the following documentation:

•   Please clarify: Your login history in Cuba.
•   Cuba Visa, if you are not a Cubai citizen, along with the passport pages bearing Customs stamps.
•   Scan or scans of your proof of address for any and all countries that you are considered a permanent resident of or where you are currently residing in.

Just follow on what they had instructed and you would be good. Theyre asking for some documentations that prove out your citizenship and your location.

Hi,
In your view, what should i do?

Ask Bitfinex to allow you to withdraw after all its the reason why they emailed you.

I didn't remember Bitfinex asking KYC documents to me actually which is why up to this point I didn't submit information to them since 2017. I didn't use them since then. I guess they do have a minimum amount that I can withdraw without filling p the KYC.

Hi
I got email from Bitfinex, asking that you logged in from banned country and

-snip-

Well, have you? If you did, you will have to provide the information they asked you to.

If you are a prohibited person though (not sure how you did manage to make an account and get verified in the first place?), then I doubt you will get your funds back.

If anyone can help me pull my funds, we can discuss deal, amount is not big/small

Bitfinex are the only ones who can help you.
