I wonder if OP ever got those coins back to Theymos. I wonder how his wife just happened to randomly notice posts. The lulz were magical. Smiley

He returned the money and apologised: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/an-apology-1086875

As assumed, he just made the excuse up.

Theymos accepted his apology. To err is human, I guess. I'll lock this thread. No reason to rub his nose in it. Undecided

Reading his pathetic excuses was downright embarrassing.

Who would seriously believe his wife read through his bitcointalk activity, get insulted, and take away A DIFFERENT COMPUTER? Does he actually believe people asking for proof are satisfied with the response 'I dunno, talk to my wife'?!

Has this guy never used the internet before? I could see a 12 year old bursting into treats over a couple YouTube insults, but that really makes me wonder how this crybaby made it to all the way to adulthood. Wonder what his high school years were like....

What was his wife mad about? That he allowed himself to be trolled while discussing Chinese exchanges?
-You're wasting time on some stupid forum! No more computer for you my dear!

I doubt his wife was mad at anything and he just made up that story to try get his own way. It's laughably pathetic either way.

The posts in question were already removed so it was hard to see what caused the situation but the posts must have been pretty bad I guess.

He references some of them in that thread. He seemed to be pretty mad about someone calling her a maid.

Why that thread has been closed?

EDIT:
Maybe OP closed it, and not the mods, right?

He likely closed it.

So maybe I am really dense but I fail to see the humor here.

Maybe you had to be there...
