I don't think your focuse should be on the monetary value instead should try work hard to gain a better rank here, secondly I noticed from @YOSHIE your account has been associated with a previous ban account which you aren't to make another account, yet you are asking historic questions whereby you already knew the do's and don't of the forum.

You can visit multiple signature campaign threads on service section and from there you can calculate how much the Hero - Legendary member earn per week or per month for participating on signature campaigns. Also Joining any campaigns now is not easy since there are so many requirements or rules need to follow or to have before you will be chosen to participate on their campaigns.

Hi guys I am curious for some time that when legendary or hero members reply on my post they have signatures beneath their comments. And I think this is kind of Advertisement to these websites or companies. Can I ask that how much Money can be generated Through this.
I know that No one will tell but I want to know so that I might work hard to get at point.
By the way I know, mostly members will roast me cause I have seen that in bitcointalk that they roast newbies mostly.
When it comes to signature campaign earnings then it would be on weekly basis payment and speaking about Hero-Legendary members pay per week then it do range $50-100 based up on my experience and awareness.

Each company does have their own budget and making up allocation on each rank which it would be understandable that the higher the rank, the higher the pay.

Speaking about roasting newbies then dont get surprised because not all new members are going into this forum doing the same thing. There are some who do ran off some scam, shills and even
posting bullshit things which the community would be always having that kind of impression.

I'm earning between $50 to $60 I could have earned more if I could post more because of Stake.com campaign is paying more if you're actively posting besides the earnings coming from the project you're promoting its the feeling that you're part of the best casino in the industry but you need to rank up, your ranking is your ticket for the good campaigns here but if you are a good poster you can easily rank but you need to understand it takes time so you need to be patient.

It all depends on a lot of variables.  Some campaigns pay more than others and typically the higher the rank, the more the payout.  Look around- there are lots of resources that will point you in the right direction and with some DYOR you should be able to come to your own conclusions.

Members and above have the privilege to wear signature code depending on their rank.  if you look closely each rank signature code varies in look and content. The reward to each campaign is fixed to the rank and each campaign decides what they will pay to participants, there is no standard amount fixed by the forum it is entirely up to the promoters.
I think this information you can get yourself when you visit the service board (for the btc paying campaign) the details of payment from different campaigns to the accepted ranks are available there.

I am not gonna roast you or don't want to criticize you. The question would come to newbies' minds since they aren't familiar with the signature campaign. So I am gonna share some info that would useful for you. So keep in mind before earnings you have to learn a lot. Signature campaign rewards depend on the quality of a user. If you are a good contributor then you can be accepted in a high paying campaign. If your posting quality is low then you might accept low paying campaign. If your posting quality is worst then you might earn some useless tokens. So you have to build a quality portfolio into the forum.

Then I now have a question; does the signature we wear in the forum has any promotional or visibility effects outside this forum?
Yes possible, when people are curious about crypto (either about an exchange, mixers, or gambling) and research it on Google search and it could be this forum will pop up there.  The signatures that we wore are visible to them even though it's a "guest mode", they might visit it through the link given under our profile.

Very possible and understandable. Your explanation is clear to my understanding. I just remembered now. There was when I visited the forum with my phone browser and I am surprised that whenever any bounty is launched, my browser will notify me that a campaign is launched in bitcointalk for bla bla project and such amount of money. I had to click the notification and it took me to this forum, but to the bounty section. I was surprised because I have never visited the bounty section and why my browser keeps notifying me of any newly launched campaign.

What's worrisome though is how easy these shitposters like @fennic farm merit, which is probably caused by lack of new members so every time someone new shows up, people shower them with merit. Well, at least many of them don't have brain to remain undetected for too long.

I wouldn't worry too much about that, it's highly unlikely that he will get enough merits to reach Full Member rank with this kind of posting anyway.

Hah yeah, it was pretty obvious that he is not a genuine newbie but instead someone whose sole purpose is to leech off this forum and I even managed to guess that he has alt accounts in bounty (kudos to YOSHIE for a nice catch!).

I may be wrong in your case (even though I doubt it), but that is not a behavior of a legit newbie account and instead of someone who already has some experience here and probably has a couple of accounts doing in bounty campaigns.

So, a good campaign,  might help the promoters website to get a better position in Google searches
Only if the campaign runs in few months or years. But soon as it ends and participants remove the signature links, and a new cache is saved by google and crawled by googlebot, seo ranks will probably decrease. That's why these exisiting long running campaigns really benefits the most.

@fennic, try to be a little professional, you are not a new member in this forum, you already know this forum one year ago 2021, member income from signatures in this forum, for those of you are familiar, you already know all that, it's just that you pretend you don't kno.

If you want to improve and the chance to increase rank or merit, there are many other ways you can do, you shouldn't make topics like beginners who are new to this forum.

This is the second time I see you, you have more than two and three accounts on this forum.

First: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.61049983, after I find your Alt, then you delete all your posts on your Alt account.

Secondly I found your other Alt on this forum, working in Bounty.

Proof:

The BTC address you use in your profile is also used by your other Alt accounts.

Bitcoin talk Username: classickitana

And if i check your Alt account which is named @classickitana, you also violate one of the forum rules, namely: Ban evasion.

Proof:

25. Ban evasion (using or creating accounts while one of your accounts is banned) is not allowed.[e]

I'm sick of seeing members who seem to know nothing in this forum, instead of wanting to make a good contribution, actually want to trick other members of this forum, to sympathize.

Stop fooling the other members in this forum.

Now I have learnt a new thing today. I thought deeply one day why don't the companies that promote their businesses or casinos here pay heavily to Google instead. I couldn't get any direct answer, here I have gotten a clue.
Then I now have a question; does the signature we wear in the forum has any promotional or visibility effects outside this forum?

It increases SEO (search engine optmization).

As bitcointalk.org  is a very strong domain with lot a of visitors it has a high rank in Google searches.  Links from such a powerful domain increases the rank of those domains.

So, a good campaign,  might help the promoters website to get a better position in Google searches

The beauty of it is that all this information is public and available to anyone for free. Bitcoin campaigns are announced in the Services section. Take a look at any of them. The OP always mentions the weekly pay rates, and there is a link to a Google sheet showing usernames of the participants and their BTC addresses. With that information in addition to a blockchain explorer, for example, you have everything you need.

The answer to this question depends on where each of us lives and how much the average cost of living for each country with the average being paid for signature campaigns, but in short, it's mostly just a bonus rather than a full time job.
It also depends on the country and how much the value of dollars to fiat.

Obviously, no, the same thing when you make an advertisement to facebook or google. Although you can say it may, in indirect way, because of SEO (for google) but nothing much due to different reasons. One is because of wearing or removing signatures in just a short period of time as SEO takes effect at least 2 months or so.

This advertisement is important for crypto related companies because casinos/mixers/etc cannot pay for sponsored links in Google/Facebook/etc, due to those companies policies.

Also, for you and some to reach a certain rank, you need to compete among the rest of the members, which was very easy in the past, but it has become more difficult in the last two years.

In short, don't think of it as a stable source of income or a quick way to get rich.

Let's be honest here: you didn't come to bitcointalk for knowledge but for money. I mean, Newbie account that wrote his first post a couple of days ago already asking how much can he earn from signature campaigns. And to add on that, your very first post on the forum was one one of those "proof of authentication posts" in altcoin bounty section.

I may be wrong in your case (even though I doubt it), but that is not a behavior of a legit newbie account and instead of someone who already has some experience here and probably has a couple of accounts doing in bounty campaigns.

It depends on your rank in this forum.

Besides that, maybe that amount will be different for each signature campaign e and it also depends on how much funding is provided by each company that carries out the campaign.

But usually, a Full Member can start joining the signature campaign and a Member very rarely gets that opportunity.

It is a decent amount of lunch money. Roll Eyes

I would encourage you to learn how bitcoin works and how to secure your wallets and how to use exchanges before jumping into a campaign. Besides you would need to rank up to a decent member rank in order to be able to join most campaigns. So you have to start working on your posting quality and engaging in discussions. It is not always possible but you should try your best.

If you are living in a country where bitcoin can be freely used to buy goods and articles that you need, then defenitely signature campaigns are a good side earning, but try your best not to make them the reason why you are here.

You're still a newbie. It might take a while before you reach the Hero and Legendary ranks. But it's just a matter of time for somebody who's actually contributing something relevant and new in discussions. So while those ranks are goals because there could be money from them, first things first. You need to participate in discussions and make your contributions.

Quite frankly, based on my observations, newbies are indeed easily roasted. But that also happens to me and other high-rank members. Just take this as a cautionary warning in making posts. Don't commit the mistake of opening a tutorial thread, one that suppose to guide or advise, if you don't know what you're writing about. Also, search first before creating a thread. Finally, read and follow the rules.

Good luck and welcome aboard!

Actually, there are two ways of earning through wearing a signature campaign, paying Bitcoin which can be found here, and a fancy token which is found it here.
You can visit the thread of any of the signature campaigns found on the list given above and calculate it on your own or check the spreadsheet where all costs of the company in the signature campaign were recorded it there.

By the way I know, mostly members will roast me cause I have seen that in bitcointalk that they roast newbies mostly.

I would agree with bitmover here and even suggest that you join a signature campaign when you reach the minimum rank. in the beginning it may be an insignificant amount of money, but you will learn a lot and acquire a routine when using the forum. Of course, if you want to stay here.  Wink

By the way I know, mostly members will roast me cause I have seen that in bitcointalk that they roast newbies mostly.

As an example, I will give the ChipMixer Signature Campaign, which is currently the most highly paid on this forum. But in order to receive $300 a week, you will need to go a long way to this goal. When you will meet these criteria to participate in such a program, you need to remember that there are many such participants worthy of wearing this signature on the forum and you will have to participate in the competition, proving that you are the most the best.

As pointed by mk4, the values range from $4 to $300 per week, paid in btc.
You can find campaigns paying in altcoins but they are usually not worth.

This advertisement is important for crypto related companies because casinos/mixers/etc cannot pay for sponsored links in Google/Facebook/etc, due to those companies policies.

You already have a few merits and a nice post/merit ratio. If you are willing to participate in campaigns, you will start small (with like $4 per week). It is a long road. This forum is like a hobby to me now and joining the discussions here are definitely worth my time. I have learned a lot here, and there are always people sharing their knowledge and experience.

It is a decent amount of money. I think on average most Hero/Legend can earn more than $50 per week, so depending on where you live, it is pretty good. Keep in mind that some signature campaigns are paid via altcoin, so the thread linked above might not cover all of them. Most of them are not worth it though.

There is no need to roast newbies if they don't ask something trivial. If your post is interesting no one will roast you.
