I see! Yeah, that's also what I've seen but only on ads. I have to admit before I saw those ads (the ones on Brave browser especially) I had never heard of deribit. And then the complaints threads about them opened and that led me to suspect them. To be fair, there are complaints about all the platforms but I just thought it was a bit shady to never have heard about them until all those ads. Kraken probably the best bet I'd stick with that.

Did you mean cypto news aggregator? I think cryptopanic should be the top of your list to stay updated with the news happening around. I will also list other news site that you may find useful in the process.

Okay, don't get too excited, futures is like all-in in poker when you have bad cards and purely depend on how your bluff will work.

Twitter is a good option, you have to keep an eye on top crypto influencers like Elon Musk and others, also you have to follow top exchanges (for example, Binance CEO's tweets often have a positive impact on BNB), you also have to keep an eye on announcements that come around stacking (for example, TOKO coin had a serious positive impact on BNB's price). And you have to constantly have a look around some hashtags. Reddit is sometimes a good option too.

But believe me, that's very, very hard and you have to be very available for trading. You don't know when that great moment comes, it may come when you go outside in a market or in a restaurant, so... Wish you good luck!

I think the point is you should not generalize everything. I do find some tweets to be informative, but the rest are garbage shills. If we can give it an information tier list, Twitter would be on my B or C list.

There is no best source since most of them are related. The best thing we can do is to filter it out. Building a tool for this would be awesome.

Twitter in my experience is not a good source of information because you will probably see the news there a little too late, but that's just for me though. It's not that easy albeit interesting, remember the story of a person who committed suicide because he goes all in futures? I don't think that makes futures interesting in a good way.

Also, just for safety? I've seen all the deribit ads too but also have heard quite a lot of complaints about them so would probably advise you to look into more established options. Or at least like one of those automatic smart contract platforms where your funds are all locked in escrow. Don't want to start depositing and then getting w/d problems.
