I have tried and ended up hurting. I lost the whole my capital when trying
futures trading, because futures trading is like playing gambling in my opinion. But since you are ready with all the risks, please try it.
I am really sorry for your losses; honestly I was in plan to get into futures trading by risking as little as 0.01BTC but when you people are not at all recommending to go with I am dropping my plans. Because, earning 0.01BTC is not simple for me and only when I am hopeful to get at least some 20% profits for my risk then I will go for it. I am somehow profitable with spot altcoin trading; I guess must need to be sticking around that alone.

Binance exchanges are the best place to trade futures, using 125x leverage for maximum results.

When more the leverage, more the risk means what is the point of having 125 time leverage from binance' futures trading. I remember some forex platforms are providing  up to 1000x leverage hence we can expect same high leverage on crypto markets as well. But, if we find some strategy to trade profitable in futures then we can make use such high leverages.

Binance is better thsn the other exchange. Because, it is top position and great volume for trading.

If volume is the selection criteria then bitmex must be the choice as they are the first one to introduce derivative trading in this crypto space (please correct me if I am wrong) and more than 70% of crypto futures trading are still happening there.

I've been inactive for a while, I want to continue trading but now I don't want to stick with conventional trading, the regular one. I want to be more risky this time that is why I am aiming for futures trading.

I've watch some youtube tutorials about it, I already understand how it works but I can't choose which platform I would choose.

on my list is Binance, Bitmex and Okex. Any thoughts?

You can skip anything, just use Bitmex. May Arthur be with you.

Binance futures has a potential to be amazing, they are binance after all and they are the best at what they do usually, which means if you give binance some time and some attention they will become the biggest out there eventually and the company itself is very trusted and very liked as well which is why you can't go wrong with picking binance for sure.

However bitmex is certainly the biggest right now that has the best competition against you and will be able to find everything you are looking for, they have perfected the futures market in the bitcoin world and even though I hate them because of it I can't deny that they are doing an mazing job with it. At the end of the day it is a personal preference thing and I would suggest you to go try all of them with small amounts and see which one you like more.

bitmex is highly manipulated, last time bitcoin hits $9200 on all exchanges, on bitmex it went straight to $8900, that's $300 difference, liquidation and hunting of stop loss at its peak, I use binance and I'm cool with it

I agree that Bitmex is a shady exchange

But all cryptocurrency exchanges are somewhat shady, even the regulated ones. So you can take advantage of the continual price manipulation going on there. Basically, it is possible due to insane leverage up to x100 on that exchange (as far as I know) as it is primarily aimed at squeezes, both long and short. Just don't be leveraged to the degree you can't withstand these squeezes, and still better get ready to ride them when they come

I also suggest Binance since they do have an established platform and their volume is good. I am a Binance futures trader and my experience was quite nice that's why I didn't switch to any futures trading platform since I got to try Binance futures.
The most crypto trader's choice is the Binance exchange platform because they all wanted to gain profit in an exchange that has a high volume and liquidity. There are too many factors to consider before choosing the right crypto exchange out there but when it comes to navigating in the right exchange is quite hard especially when we talk about reputation.

In choosing an exchange platform, these are the most factors that should have.
  • Liquidity
  • Availability of coins pairs
  • Security
  • Trading fees
  • Reputation
  • Easy to use
  • Costumer support quality

I think you'll choose binance in futures trading Binance may be a very reliable place to trade it's far better to observe YouTube tutorials but before that you simply can analyze different places of this forum. Bitcoin may be an excellent currency for trading or investing Bitcoin will offer you more profit in futures trading.
I also suggest Binance since they do have an established platform and their volume is good. There are also many Futures trading tutorial and explanation on the internet and youtube, You will surely get the concept right away cause it's easy. Also, Binance has a discount on trading fees using their BNB token.

As said above, futures trading requires good technical analysis, if you have not mastered technical analysis then you will often be lost. For those who do not master technical analysis I think futures trading like gambling, they only guess what happens to the next price.
Even for them futures trading is not an easy thing. In futures you are betting on the future price of an asset. Whether that matches up and if you are in luck is what determines the outcome and profit.

You can be an expert in doing technical but even they day that TA is going to be a 50-50 thing in Spot and derivatives market. But at least in spot trading you have an asset to sell even if at loss or hold it for a price rise. In futures you losing the bet means loss of money.

Every business has a profit loss where profit is loss. In the same way, in the case of trading, there is a profit and loss. When you go up the stairs, you can't read about the fact that you can go up at once and if you go dawn ,you can't go up again. i have read some books after listening to some some of these wise man and watching some videos of future trading. After seeing and hearing and understand these, it seems to me the future trading is the best for me. I am also thinking that i have no better plan for the future. I will bye some coins for the future.

You can choose Binance. Binance has two types of Futures trading Perpetual futures trading and the other Quarterly futures trading. If you have doubted you should try a small amount to be sure how are those exactly work.
Suggestion: don't use "borrowing features" in Perpetual account for futures trading.

True! Even traditional trading requires you to have combined knowledge and skills about the market. By having those things, you'll have the ability to analyze what gonna happen in the market! On the other hand, futures trading requires you to be specialized in chart analysis! Chart analysis is extremely critical to predict!

As many people above me said I'll choose binance as the best platform for future trading. Don't know I just like it instead of another trading platform. Maybe it is just because the volume where a lot of trader who trading there and make the price movement move quickly. Also, you not only can trade bitcoin but there are several altcoins like ETH, ADA as well. Ans the best part that I like so far is I can deposit and withdraw with money fiat directly.

Many have tried but many were also been failed, things that will happen when we are driven by excitement without knowing it well. That is much more if we are in trading, the risk it takes to make many new starters come with losses, and later on, they leave. That is why, if we are having an interest in trading and have the plan to ride on this, we better have to prepare ourselves fully. Those losses are a part of our development, in fact, it surely will come to us no matter how hard your tried to avoid it but if you are strong enough to face the reality, it all has the solution. Think positive.

Only once per day? I guess it won't be a problem to me but I think it's unusual for a platform tho, plus the availability on mobile phone is a good edge for a trading platform. But the thing with bitmex that I like the liquidity, the one that you mentioned above, considering futures trading will also vary on that.
I think it's a security measure to avoid the exchange facing hacks and unauthorized withdrawal of funds, which is something good. Bitmex has been around for some years now but have you ever heard anywhere that there was a hack and funds were withdrawn from the exchange's hotwallet like it happened to exchanges like binance?

I used to trade in Binance, Bitmex, Okex and even Huobi. All are the same, but I recommend you trade at Binance. Because the volume of Bitcoin trading in Binance is the largest and futures trading needs volume. Therefore, large volumes will create opportunities for us. But remember, Binance is very prone to errors when the market is volatile. so always put stoploss and do not let the strong Dump / Pump to destroy your account.

Well I appreciate your effort recommending me a platform to do future trading.

But from now on I think I should do it on Binance since it got a better reviews, actually it's my first time on binance trading.

Goodluck to me !
Binance is pretty good, if you're going to look past their KYC requirements. The concept itself isn't that difficult though it may take some time adjusting if you're just starting up. Just read up on what futures is and how it works, Binance has a guide for it IIRC Grin. You can also try some Free training simulators about futures/trading so you can prepare yourself for what's what. I myself am using Futures in Binance and so far, it's pretty easy and interesting. once you understand what thing does which, you just got to study the market and that's basically it.

I know you want risk, but better practice first and familiarize how this futures works, I have only tried binance future on your list but I have tried on other platform too, binance is more complex but if you are getting used to it, you are fine. Binance has demo account you can practice there, compared to spot you can lose or profit faster. Here is the demo website of binance https://testnet.binancefuture.com/en/futuresng/BTC_USDT

Binance is good as it has many features and even lets you play games in their platform. Though some features requires KYC, I don't think it would be an issue as you've said that you wanted to take higher risks, also, Binance have a lot of users/traders that are active hence it's volume was fair enough. This isn't to promote Binance but I think it's the best if you would pursue daily crypto trading and focus in it.

But if you really love to have a long term (that you can still be using in the future) trading, better reconsider trying Stock Trading or Forex Trading. Most traders there trades for years and wealth is mostly growing (unless you aren't that good enough)

If you're looking for a good and effective trading platform for your future trading, then try to use Binance. I used it for so long and I'm comfortable with its features that I can't find in many trading platforms. It is the most trustworthy exchanges that I know and it is much easier to manipulate my assets using this.

Binance's security when it comes to its customer is really outstanding that's why the volume of people who are using it is high enough. Its reputation to some traders are really high that's why you this platform will never disappoint you.

Future trades are really easy to do using Binance.

Not trying to shill Bybit but it seems to be a good platform too. I have experienced both Bitmex and Bybit (never for Binance because of KYC and a bit of complexity about their futures platform)

My Pros on bitmex
- Liquidity is very high

Cons on bitmex
- Withdraw is once a day
- No mobile app so no trading on the go
- Sometimes it freezes/lags and it's hard to open/close positions when the market goes crazy, the most recent was witnessed in March, during that crazy bitcoin dip if you remember  Cheesy (you can Google and see that a number of folks were not happy about it)
- Withdraw is done once day.
- Support only BTC (XBT) deposits and withdraws
Only once per day? I guess it won't be a problem to me but I think it's unusual for a platform tho, plus the availability on mobile phone is a good edge for a trading platform. But the thing with bitmex that I like the liquidity, the one that you mentioned above, considering futures trading will also vary on that.

My  Pros on Bybit
- Withdraws can be done 3 times a day
- Have a mobile app so you can trade on the go or using a mobile phone
- I haven't so far experienced any lags/freezes especially on the mobile device
- Support Deposits and withdraws in ETH, EOS, BTC, XRP and USDT
- They have an internal exchange for quick exchange of assets
- So many promotions that can earn you some bonus BTC, ETH or USDT

Cons on Bybit
- Liquidity is still low for most futures though it's promisingly growing
- There was a huge gap between the exchange's mark price and index price during that infamous Bitcoin dip in March this year. I don't know if it was solved because it led to liquidation of some traders' positions
Cons of bybit is quite bothering, for a stuff like trading I think the liquidity is a huge factor. I would still look for it too.

From all of these I think Binance is the leading platform

For me I don't like futures trading and I prefer to use spot trading, but if you want to venture you can try the following platforms:
1. Binance
2. Huobi Huobi
3. OKEx
4. KuCoin
5. Bittrex
Before trading, I advise you to look for some important things like:
Reputation - platform reputation is very important in choosing the platform you want to work on.
Liquidity and trading volume.
Fees - You should know about the different fees between the different platforms and choose what suits you best.
Payment Methods - What payment methods are available on the platform?
Verification Requirements - Does the platform require KYC or not?
Geographical restrictions - some features offered to users are only accessible from some countries.

I think these are important matters and you should know before choosing the platform to trade on.

It is good that you're documenting yourself before starting futures trading as this is a whole other game than spot trading. However if you wanna trade crypto - spot trading should be more than enough as the volatility is quite high. Make sure that your desire to move to leverage trading is not from the urge to gamble. I've seen this before.

As for the platform I would consider Bitmex, Deribit, Bybit or Binance. Check the liquidity and volume on those. You don't wanna get whipsawed when trading with leverage.

I start trading with the use of binance and one of the reason why I choose this trading platform they have a lot of features and promos reward which is good to be recently which is good to the beginner and wants to make a lot of trades these is my pros and cons too I want to share on binance

Pros
  • Have a good security because of email log in
  • If your trade are going into liquidity they prompt a message to warning you
  • Have a dark theme specially to the people who wants those features
  • Faster transaction and exchange also they have a lot of volumes

Cons
  • It takes time to find out the information you want to do because it has a lot of tabs
  • The cache if your resent tools on trading view, sometimes it may not load when you open after a few minutes your previous tools and the recent tools goes to over lap

Those are the basic information I just observe on the trading of binance.

It's an excellent motivation to have that kind of "risking" mentality but make sure that you are going to work it out, win or lose on that trading.

Futures is going to be challenging at first, especially if you are just learning it right now. It's best to know some key terms before dwelling with futures trading.
  • Know what the units of measurement of the contracts (is it in USD, BTC, etc.)
  • Minimum quantity of contracts
  • Leverage
  • Risk Management
  • Automatic trading

These apply to different exchanges as well. It's best to try a virtual trading account / fake account with fake money to test your strategy and if it will work in the long run.

Personally I have been using BitMEX and Binance Futures. They are both reliable. I prefer Binance futures because I earn USDT instead of BTC. Depending on how much risk you have, choose wisely.

I had a poor experience with OKEx because it seems that they force close your position at a particular time (which shouldn't be the case). I'm not sure if it's fixed anymore, but I stayed away from it because of that. Spot markets there are okay, but futures I think are not yet reliable.

If you want many choices of coins/tokens, go for Binance their mobile app is friendly user and can be used on setting up a future trades too. Talking about risk, they have a lot of leverages options from 10x, 20x to even 125x on some selected coins. (I think BTC/USDT) Depends on your apetite.

Just be careful cause future trading is like a gambling you wouldnt know when it will hit you. Dont forget to set your stop loss to avoid heavy damage on your asset.

Stay away from Bitmex: cons explained up top, my friends dont used this anymore due to huge issues they are facing dont wanna caught on fire with their problems.

While it is good that you are attempting newer modes of making money from the market, still futures is a more risky method and what I consider to be more of a gamble than spot trading. Thing is the brokers/exchanges in this case, dont care about your money but rather how much you are using them because they get paid on that. So if the idea of doing futures came from a promotional email or so, please think twice before putting money in it.

In future you will be predicting prices to be attained. Now you may be able to predict nicely with help of TA or so but it is correct around 50% of the times. So it ends up being a dice roll. Dont think that because some good news came you can predict the market on futures, you could do that in spot but not that efficiently in futures which would be enough to make a profit in time.

Anyway good luck on your investment, the sites posted above are pretty good.

Cons on bitmex
- Withdraw is once a day
..snip..
- Withdraw is done once day.
Are you trying to make a point by posting that twice? Grin
