So the early adapters will have a early commodore in their heads and a year later it will be a early PC.
So as we modify the brain, won't the early adapters be stuck with crappy tech in their heads?
I imagine it would be easier to install than to take it out! Grin

that made me laugh out loud.
And the thing is I think this technolgy is just still a simulationvand it'll take dacades  for this to use safely. And it will not be available in public maybe after a few more dacades it will be. So 2050 to 2070 it will be available to public. I guess. Im not sure I didnt read the whole article because it's too long I got bored.

Linking Multiple Minds Could Help Damaged Brains Heal

If someone has a damaged kidney, a donor can give them a spare organ so both people can live. Now, what if you could do something similar for a friend with a failing brain?

In recent lab experiments, Miguel Nicolelis and his colleagues melded together the brains of multiple monkeys and rats to function as “brainets”—shared networks able to cooperatively manipulate a virtual arm and make calculations and decisions. Nicolelis hopes that linking human brains this way could unleash a powerful new suite of neurological tools that might help heal people with ailments from Parkinson's to paralysis.

Wow, talk about hacking the brain, lets just hope its only developed and used benevolently and not for predatory applications.
