Are you still "13 days back" with the blockchain?
And don't worry, if the backup wallet includes your private keys, you did not lose anything.  Smiley

When you're done with catching up with the blockchain, if your balance is still incorrect, this will require more work, I guess.
At least you're learning, in the meantime. Grin

good day hope you are good and enjoying its almost more then 14 hours its still on 13 hours behind nothing happening what I do now

what is time on site when we can do this easily please tell now its very late here I am waiting for you but cannot sit but want to work with you  Smiley

Sorry to come back this late.
Could you please try to go to help=>Debuging window=>Console tab
and type:
addnode 67.186.224.85
(hit enter)
addnode 88.198.58.172
(hit enter)
addnode 91.210.181.21
(hit enter)
addnode 63.247.147.163
(hit enter)
addnode 213.112.48.166
(hit enter)

if anyone has some more up and running nodes to share, please do.

This should help getting up to date with the blockchain, ReBoRn.

Ok, let's try another way.
- Hold windows+R
- in the box that pops up, enter
Code:
cmd
- hit ok
When the black window pops up, enter:
Code:
c:
hit enter
Code:
cd \
hit enter
Code:
cd "Program Files\Bitcoin"
hit enter
Code:
bitcoin-qt.exe -rescan
hit enter

This should launch the client with the rescan switch. Cheesy

Shutdown bitcoin-qt
Locate your bitcoin-qt.exe (use the windows search feature if not sure where to look).
right-click on it, then "Create a shortcut"
right click on newly created shortcut => Properties
In the "Target" textbox, you'll see the full path of you bitcoin-qt.exe
Just add " -rescan" in the end of this full path
(should look like "...\bitcoin-qt.exe -rescan" where "..." is the location of your bitcoin-qt.exe)
click on Ok.
Relaunch QT using the newly created shortcut.

G'luck!

its very late here but still happy to work with you so as you explain I do this but this message is coming  The name C\Program Files\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe-rescan specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.

You just need a space between bitcoin-qt.exe and -rescan, like that:
...\bitcoin-qt.exe -rescan

"C:\Program Files\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe -rescan"   this but again same message coming

I'm sorry, but I'd rather not connect to your computer.
Is anything unclear in the following sequence:
- Shutdown Bitcoin-QT
- If your current wallet was not empty, copy it to a safe location
- Replace your current wallet by the one your extracted from your old computer (make sure you don't delete this "old" wallet until you successfully moved the coins out of it)
- Restart QT with a "-rescan" switch

some is understandable for me and now trying to do as you are saying hope its works for me my current wallet is empty and now trying to replace this one

edit: is there any video link available for this work  I done some and old keys shift in userdata and now going to try rescan switch

I love to use WINDOWS XP so again done this but this time have hard disk some big

Then once you're done with getting the blockchain, shut QT down, replace the empty wallet it created in your
Code:
C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application data\Bitcoin
folder by the one from your usb stick.

I would also make another copy the wallet.dat somewhere else on your harddrive (I don't really trust usb sticks with such "important" data)

After that, create/edit the shortcut you're using to launch QT, and add " -rescan" in the end of the "Target" input box.

Should look like:
Code:
...\bitcoin-qt.exe -rescan
where ... is the location of your bitcoin-qt client.

Your balance should be ok, then.
If not, don't panic, QT is sometimes a bit dodgy when it comes to computing balances, we'll find another way.

hello sir hope you are good and enjoying really good and informative thing I done last night now want some more your help I want to do some mining is this ok these days and which is better I have 3 options  Bitcoin, Litecoin, and XPM please give your comments about this
Spreading your mining effort across all 3 does not seem bad to me.
But keep in mind this is my opinion, and it's probably worthless.

mean mining is not profitable right now I talk to my few friends also most saying its not good idea so now you also saying now I am dropping this one I was asking just because of this have no job for long time and now just doing a signature job and some captcha work need some good work

as you explain I open and have 4 folder and 1 .DAT file now I have saved all these in USB

Search for for any other wallet.dat file (win+f => walllet.dat) on your old computer, before, and backup each of those.
Then let your new computer download the blockchain. This can take a lot of time, don't lose patience.
Quit the QT client (on new computer), and copy the wallet.dat backup you're the most confident with over the empty one created on you new computer. (If same OS and same user, same location).

OS mean I am checking all this and then tell you

OS = Operating System, sorry.

Linux? Windows 95? Windows server 2008R2? Jelly Bean?

Windows XP Professional Version 2002

Then open a windows explorer (win+e if not sure, hold both keys together), then browse to
C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application data\Bitcoin

Replace your YourUserName with your actual user name, and you should see a wallet.dat file.
If so, copy this file it to a usb stick, for example.

hello sir sorry for disturbing you just need some information I have download

Bitcoin Qt but now realize my hard disk is very small and its have too much

data its still going 49 weeks behind and hard disk is full now my bad I have

some 0.15 btc which are not visible if I delete this Bitcoin Qt and  re-download

on new computer then my old address and coins recoverable is yes then how

please give some information thanks

Sorry to post this PM I received, but I'd hate being responsible for any damage.
From what I understand, you just need to copy your wallet.dat file (from old computer) to a secure location, before you reinstall QT on the new computer.
Then copy back your wallet.dat to the new computer, and you should be fine, once the blockchain has finished updating (which can take up to a a long time (weeks), depending on your bandwitdth).

thanks its great now just want to ask where is wallet.dat and how I can copy this and I have one more problem I done encrypt my wallet and have password how can I unlock this

Wallet path depends (mostly) on OS.
What OS do you use?
