Yes I'm 💯 sure that this processor can handle any GPU mining rig because I'm using old CPU in mine too, a 1st gen i7 950 and a first gen i3 processor with 4 pcie slots in both and they power 8gpus totally

gpu should be the focus if you want to get the best mining performance, so it should be fine. don't really need to upgrade unless your mobo and cpu broke and there's no stock, or you want to improve efficiency. cmiiw.

An FX processor is a processor designed for games and it will have no problems running as a rig. I've ran rigs before with Semprom, yes, Semprom processors before. For those that don't know they are like $10 processors you get from eBay and are single core. And they worked.

Installing windows took forever and it took a long time to boot from cold but when it started mining it was perfectly fine. Barely any CPU usage while mining. Only issue with your FX will be it uses more power than most newer CPUs and it'll make your rigs a little inefficent.

Good afternoon people , I would like to clarify a doubt , if the FX-4300 processor can handle 4 GPUS RX 570. And if it were a stronger processor, would it have a difference in mining capacity?    Huh

A friend of mine have a mining rig running with core i7 920 old generation one quad core processor and is running 2 RX 6800 cards,no hash rate drops,it runs stable enough,he has 16 GB of RAM though as it is DDR3 and he prefers to have more.Based on this I can easily say that it will handle any mining operation up to 4 cards as you ask without problems, the FX 4300 was a good quad core processor.

This is a very cool processor for your mining farm. I usually use AMD x2 220- AMD x2 250 or AMD x3 which are sold for 5-9 dollars.
Any of these processors will not affect the hashrate, but if you use Windows, the system will run faster than using a dual-core processor. Linux doesn't notice the difference.

This is an alt coin question.

I will ask for it to be moved to alt coins

The answer is it should work and be fast enough
