G2A is a joke, not only they don't care about their customer, but they also ruined game developer/publisher life to the point where pirating is far less harmful than buy the game on grey/unregulated market and i seriously doubt their G2A direct solve the problem.

Based on how they manage scam, fraud, etc., i seriously i doubt lots of positive feedback is meaningful.

- if you use paypal, you'll automatically (?) subscribe to their monthly G2A+, which is like 5.99$, (They billed me like 30$+ before i found out!)
- If you use Bitcoin, there's roughly a 2/3 chance (my experience!) that the payment won't go through, and you'll end up making multiple support tickets to Bitbay & G2A, (which takes weeks because i'm obviously not using their ScamShield™)

And if you inactive for 180 days, they will charge you inactivity fees now : https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/a8utyu/g2a_will_take_your_wallet_money_if_you_dont_login/

Don’t use G2A.

I would advise everyone to avoid Kinguin and G2A at all costs. They don't care about their costumers and are actually hated by the whole PCMR community.

A quick overview on how shit they are: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/wiki/keyresellers

You should also take a look on what you actually need to do to disable G2A Shield (a system they use to grab people's money for several months without them knowing): https://imgur.com/gallery/PUwPC

I, too, have really mixed feelings about them. Not necessarily because of how some vendors may or may not get their keys, (which is ofcourse a bad thing.)

But also because as you mentioned,

- if you use paypal, you'll automatically (?) subscribe to their monthly G2A+, which is like 5.99$, (They billed me like 30$+ before i found out!)
- If you use Bitcoin, there's roughly a 2/3 chance (my experience!) that the payment won't go through, and you'll end up making multiple support tickets to Bitbay & G2A, (which takes weeks because i'm obviously not using their ScamShield™)

Too bad that for legit keysellers, there isn't much of an alternative, and that steam is not accepting bitcoin (directly - GC, i know.) anymore... :/

I see what you mean though, a 10$ Xbox GC is 7.5 EUR = 8.6$. That's what, 14% off?

That's a lot, even for G2A. However, i could draw up multiple scenario's in which the seller could've received the Giftcard in a totally legit way, but then again, also multiple where it could be fraud.

It could be that the seller either received them in another trade (I've seen lots of users online selling Giftcards for Bitcoin @ 10-20% rates), or they might be carded/scammed from other users.
I don't think anyone can say for sure that they are/aren't.

I realize that they're usually cheaper when it comes to games, but for gift cards, they always had the same price. (75 EUR gift card Xbox for 75 EUR as an example)

Does anyone know what's going on? and could someone confirm (in general) whether these cards are legit or not? because It doesn't make much sense to me to see cheaper gift cards suddenly as I'm almost certain this was never the case before.

I thought about them being carded but again, that didn't make sense because these sellers had a lot of positive feedback and I don't see them sacrificing their business.
