You guys were right. The seller agreed that I can test the card and it gave 5.9 Mh/s and power consumption was 140 watts. Luckily I can return the card.

Mining on anything less than a higher end 9 series card is a waste of time. Those will use so much power you wont make any money, this is a 6 year old video card after all.

You cant compare cuda cores from Kepler to Pascal. Its not the same.

We all know maxwell is crippled for Eth mining, so Kepler would be worse.

Looks like people got 15 mhs once upon a time but who knows now. Certainly lower im sure but you might as well try it out.

I would NOT buy one though just to find out it does single digit numbers though with terrible power consumption.

Hi!

I’m looking for cheap used gpu’s for ethereum mining and notised sales add about two used Gainward GTX 680 4GB cards. Has anyone experience with these in Ethereum mining?

They have 1536 Cuda cores, which is rather good I think. nVidias reference design is 2GB, but these are 4GB cards.
