It seems that some are still buying expensive graphic cards, I can see 3090 RTX on aliexpress for 1900$ and 3090Ti for 2400$ this is crazy, I will never buy such in this time of season, now that Ethereum is going PoS I believe that the mighty hashrate from Ethereum will be direct to another coin and profit will go down for a while too. Do not buy expensive GPUs now is not the time.

I didn't know Galax to be from Hong Kong as I always see the cards listing from Japan every time I look at ebay and they offer the highest possible price for a card for example the Rtx 3060 in the link below. That has been my point of confusion and that I have seen always with the price tag there, beside that I also owned one at it performed extremely well.Really surprised that Palit owns all these brands and I thought Palit to be an average brand for the Nvidia cards, most probably I should be buying only Palit cards from now on.

Sure 928 dollars is a huge prize for a 3060 right now

I have also seen the same fans both in Gainward 1060 cards that I owned before and the same in Palit versions but I never thought they to be made by the same company.
What kind of joke is this? $1200 for Japanese quality under the Palit brand. Maybe the seller forgot to look at the prices of analogues on the market. Before the start of sales of the 4000 series, it is better to quickly sell the 3000 series.

RTX 3060 for 928$ is wrong in every way, you should use that money to buy two RTC 3060s and still have some dollars left, probably 400$ for each 3060, anything higher than this is a bad purchase.

Actually Palit Microsystems Ltd is the parent company of the following brands according to Wikipedia.

Palit, Gainward, Daytona, Galaxy (GALAX), Galakuro, Vivkoo, Yuan, KFA2 and XpertVision

This is just for completeness  Wink

Since when did Galax become a Japanese brand?
KFA2/Galax is a Chinese company based in Hong Kong.
In Japan, their brand name is Galakuro. In my country, this company is known under the KFA2 brand and these are not the highest quality video cards.

Anyone used to msi gaming x trio graphic cards? I want ti buy a rtx 3090 and the two types I see at a shop nearby is a gaming x trio and galaxy RTX 3090, both have the same price but I want to know which is a good build between the two.

If the Galaxy is the Japanese brand then there is no really a different answer as you should get it.Every card I have had from Japan has been working flawlessly and I still have one old one running, pretty cool even that is 40 degree Celsius outside. However be careful as there are a lot of fake Galaxy-s from what I have seen in Aliexpress and other international markets.

MSI gaming x trio is the best version of a MSI card as I have one Ventus which is running 68 degree Celsius and a friend of mine has the same card but gaming x trio and it runs at 61-62 degree Celsius. So both options are OK for me but keep in mind for Galaxy to only buy the original as a lot of junk copies as I said.
