My choice of gambling is Dice. Regularly I used to spend some time playing dice. It used be fun most at the beginning and ends with sadness. I used to have limits on winning, if I was able to make the win I just quit it for the day. In such a way I used to gamble and once after the previous week campaign payment I continued till today. Finally today even after achieving my limits on winning, I went for higher winning. What happened is loss of entire funds in the wallet. I've got more similar experiences. Does anyone have used similar strategy on winning limits.
If you always chase your winning limits, then probably once you win after another, you will not stop there but continue to bet. As long as you have good amount of winnings, there’s no valid reason to stop betting as that could mean you’ll get luck and bring home wealth in an instant. But the problem is, not all the time you get lucky. Even if you experienced your first luck, that would not mean that it will always be there. The reason that we should only gamble on the amount we can afford to lose, so that once it’s used up, you’ll just call it a day and go home. That way, you’ll go home at peace.

Don't have winning limits since any amount will do and can able to stop when I think I'm done at anytime especially satisfied with the result. But on betting limits on money spend on gambling well I have and I make sure that I will not exceed since to much for me is not healthy anymore since it could lead to addiction which I alread surpass it.
For those who do able to learn up lesson into their past experiences then we do know on when to stop and when to proceed.Everything should be in control specially with your money or simply with finances specially

if you do touch up gambling which is an activity that really consumes lots of money if you arent that having a good self control or discipline.Winning limits is something not that people would be minding.

Some would really continue as long they do have the money or some would really call it a day and stop and play on the next day.If you are really that going for leisure or entertainment
then you would definitely be not minding.

When we talk about limits with gambling, there are all kinds of different types of limits in this sector. Deposit limits, limits to wager but also withdrawal limits. A player cannot set betting limits himself, but the gambling sites themselves are only too happy to do so in some cases. If you are winning a lot, then you are a risk player for a gambling site and they would rather not of course. Then you sometimes have a chance that you get a limit on your account and then you can only set very low limits with bets. If that happened, I'd give up and get another bookmaker. Nobody wants to play with small limits, right if you're used to betting big?

Winning is something that could really boost up your emotions and you would really be mainly thinking that you would really be needing to play more and believing that you could get even more winnings.
This is why you would really be deciding to play even more and hoping to bag up more winnings but we know that gambling luck wont really be staying in our side all of the time.
Also, house do always win in the end specially on Dice which it would be resulting for those winnings to be taken back by the house if you arent that wise and having
that self control on calling it a day then you would definitely ending up on this scenario.

First of all, I must say that I don't trust my luck too much. :) That's why I don't prefer games that are entirely based on luck (like dice). I consider predictive events such as football and basketball matches as more consistent events in terms of gambling. It makes me feel more comfortable to place a bet by comparing the current status of their squad, their statistics in the last 5 matches, their targets at the end of the season. That's why I don't set a winning limit on myself. If I think I've caught a predictable match and I want to make one more bet, nothing will stop me.

Winning limit is only worthful when you win big, so you can use your prize to change your life financially without risking losing it gambling anymore, but for daily gambling sessions winning limits won't make any difference on long run, as you will lose more money than you win after a while.

I use only stop loss limit rule. If I lose a determined quota I must stop playing to come back only when I recover that sum of money through another sources of income that don't involve betting. The less I lose, the sooner I will be able to gamble again, however, the more I lose, the longer it is going to take until I will be able to play again.

I lose more than I win, so I have to control myself and I would take the opportunity to gamble more if I think I'm lucky. Although I believe in skilled-based gambling, however without luck we still cannot win, and since we are not lucky all the time, so trying to maximize the winning is the best strategy for me.
Yes, I somehow agree with this strategy of yours, because to be frankly speaking, majority of gamblers also loses funds more than they win too, so you are not the only one left out. But one thing that is certain is that for you to gamble, one needs to have the basic essential knowledge of that game he or she is trying to play with some bit of luck, as luck and patience can never be excluded when it comes to gambling.

I wouldn't set a winning limit, it looks like not expecting big things for myself, and if I am not expecting big things, I don't think I will get anything big. My lucky day is my lucky day, if I gamble any day and win, I will be willing to stretch my luck that day to try to win more because I may not be so lucky the next time I come.

Winning limits, You will end up losing on all of your games because you will not playing until you loss your bank roll. I think you have winning limits base on your feelings only and not by a determined figure as guide. All of us has winning limits because we stop playing at certain point of your game session because you feel already the satisfaction on your profits.

In my vase, I've experienced continuous losses after a good series of winning because of greed. I tried to gain more profit because I expected that I would have as much profit as I want not considering the risks. From then on, I decided to put limits and tried to follow them. It's hard to avoid losses if we'll never put control and limitations. As for me, setting a target goal would be a wise move.

The winning limit will not make you win more if you think about the previous days when you lost your funds. Most of us want to win more which is normally our goal. But we know the winning odds compare to the house when it comes to dice. OP losing them entirely seems normal in dice.

We don't avoid playing dice though because its an easy money when you stop after winning big. It's just a matter of fighting the urge.

I always make sure to put limits no matter how good my gameplay is. If I gain enough profit, I withdraw right away because I believe that contentment will always make us win. It's fine to aim for higher profit but we should still know when to stop. Being greedy might take our winnings and lead to more losses. If we will have a chance to withdraw a good amount of profit, then we better grab it than to chase for more.

Having  limit is important may it be in winning or losses. When I win I make it to a point to already withdraw the winning and left only my capital. And whichever left in my capital that is what will I ise to play again the next time. It's hard to comtrol especially when you enjoy the game. But when I already win atleast half of my capital I already saved it since I know I will not always win atleast I jave save some already maybe for the next day play. I admire those who are able to really follow their goal sometimes I need some reminders from my family to stop before doing so especially if I stll have some of my capital in game.

Every gambler should have a safe target to quit and come back tomorrow. Of course that's important because it's very impossible to always win more bets in every session, really that's very difficult to achieve. I really think that it is very abnormal to keep chasing bigger wins because it would cost us all our previous wins. Remember, dice is a luck based game and when you win 200% (my target) of your funds then you have to get out immediately.

I often use many techniques available on youtube and even buy some tricks on how to win at dice games, but everything comes back to our emotional behavior in playing so maybe that's where I lost too and lost my money because I couldn't control my emotions when playing, it was difficult to limit the game when I get a win so that it makes me lust and continue to raise bets to get big profits and in the end gambling sites will not let me win big, I realize now losing money on gambling sites is a risk that we must accept as gamblers

It will be hard for you if you will set a certain quota of winning before you stop playing. Winning limit is tricky and risky. A much appropriate will be setting betting limitations for yourself regardless of the percentage of losses and winnings. That way, you will not lose track because you have set the general boundary for you to stop playing the moment you hit the last penny on your budget allocation for gambling.

Chasing winnings is a trap. Most people who get beginner's luck tend to be enticed to play more and more because they got lucky in their first try. While it is encouraging to play more to win more, it will do no good especially if you will just impulsively do it out of your emotions. Deciding to play more after winnings is the best way to lose money. You won't even notice that you are shedding out money so much until there is nothing left of you to spend because of the mentality that you will win in your next bet.

Doing proper risk assessment and management is necessary in order to maintain your sanity in gambling. It is also needed to monitor your financial aspect. People should gamble responsibly. Do not be fooled by the figures other people get and do not be carried away by the winnings to avoid regret.

Hmmm for me I am not setting any winning limits but rather the amount I am about to spend. Because having a winning limits for me requires a bigger bet in every draw, so I think I will just have spending limit so I can bet little by little also I will make a target profit so the moment I hit that, I will stop playing gambling right away.

Players should have winning limits if they don't want to get disappointed, winning limits and following them by heart is a sure way to enjoy your winning, moderation is always the key, only compulsive gamblers do not set their limits in playing and on their winnings, you should make it a habit to set your limit depending in your bankroll and monitor if you're following that limit, responsible gambling is all about limiting yourself in time and your winning.

I am sure that anyone who has been addicted to the gambling arena has experienced bad effects emotionally, physically, financially and so on, especially in dice betting, Generally, many of us often say that Win-Loss can be considered normal, even though the behavior in gambling is very rare for gambling addicts who have a winning limit, even though it exists, but the percentage is small.

For that many gamblers who want to have hopes of winning big, even though they are unconsciously drained of balance, even though using a thousand strategies the ending still loses and is sad, that's the basis for having won so playing continues accompanied by hope.

You were a more disciplined gambler, and staying that way would have been better for you.

Finally today even after achieving my limits on winning, I went for higher winning. What happened is loss of entire funds in the wallet.
Your inability to stay disciplined and greed pushed you above caution. It is good thing that you learnt your lesson immediately by seeing the result of indiscipline in gambling which can be a potential loss of funds. If you didn't loose, I think you would have been encouraged to even want to get more by increasing your winning limit. Constantly increasing your winning limit is dangerous and you can become a problem gambler before you realize.

When we talk about the loss of entire funds, I think that will always be an experience for everyone. I doubt that there's someone who hasn't lost their initial budget when gambling. Even once. If they are regular gamblers, the chances are close to 100% with that.

I had a time when I limited myself to a specific daily loss and continued to another day. That's how I made my current balance in a casino from $20 to $200. It took some time, but you need to be patient. Eventually, after I withdrew my initial amount, I lost the balance I left in the casino. I think that's just the way it is. Lol.

You're not the only one I also have a share of a roller coaster ride of winning, winning big then losing everything I won, luck-based games are unpredictable, you are on a roller coaster ride when you don't know how to quit and when to quit, setting winning glimit is a good option, but its hard to follow it up without  having contented on your winning, you have to be very firm when you want to stop or your roller coaster ride will happen again and again.

Yes, I think that's something a lot of us do. Winning limits are normal, so you can stop playing when you reach the winning limit you want. or maybe, it could be the other way around. but usually, if someone has got the newly achieved winning limit, it will change as the victory you get at the next winning limit. however, I'm sure nothing is certain and I think it depends on the situation during the betting session.

however for me, I have no winning limit. Usually I only bet on sports betting, if I win. maybe I'll try to play on another type of bet.  however, just entertainment nothing more.

It's very wise to have limits on everything. Be it for winning or for losses. That's one of the key character traits of highly successful people. It's always better to know your limits and act accordingly. The moment you are drawn into greed, you will start loosing money.

Personally I have a spending limit on crash games which I play the most. If my spending limit is over, I don't look back at the game for the rest of the week regardless of the fact if I am winning or loosing.

I have limits, but lately I rarely gamble and don't even come close to them. In addition to the limit on the amount won or lost, I have a time limit - if it's a dice, then no more than 30 minutes a day. During this time, you can have time to test any strategy in manual or automatic mode and at the same time not have time to get strongly involved in the game. In general, it is enough to always remember that gambling is a dangerous entertainment and even a stable player can sometimes get into such an unpleasant situation that you find yourself in.

I think everyone agrees that, they have a winning limit.

But, we have a problem to control the limits. You want to know the reason ? especially while you're on hot streak winning you're gonna keep betting until you lose the bets. Now, while losing the bets could be make you a trigger to bet again for your last lose bet.

And the disaster is coming, while you're on winning streak + winning situation get a streak lose. More lose you got, make you keep playing until you lose all-the money.

Never had winning limits imposed on my account by a casino, nor I impose myself. I only win a few times and only modest amounts, but I never usually withdraw them if I'm done for the day, just leave it there to be used for next week's gambling adventures. I learned to not be greedy a few years ago, and I think it helps with my mentality on gambling and also the limit on how far should I go for this activity of mine. Once you get to learn that nothing comes out of being greedy but defeat, you'll be contented with what you have at the end of the day and will never chase losses nor wins.

The win/profit limit is something that needs to be done. Because then we have healthy control over the profits to be taken. If you are too calm and feel that you will continue to profit, it will usually result in a total loss. Limiting wins as many say is not easy management. Especially when the game being played makes you always on the winning side. Gambling should be rational because then we can control the profits and exit the casino at any time.

Unfortunately, the strategy of limiting my winnings is not always applied consistently. Honestly, I don't feel free to play.

Yes, it's sad and quite often happens as you overcome the limit set for yourself to win, and if everything goes pretty smoothly and you surpassed what you thought was the limit, then it seems that you wanted too little and just go on to lose, it's so familiar.

My choice of gambling is Dice.

Dice games are the type of games of chance that depend on luck, there is no way for you to make a judicious management such as:

I will deposit 50$ in the casino per week, then when I win the 2X of the deposit amount I will withdraw my capital of 50$ and leave the profit and then whenever I win I will withdraw the profit and when I lose I will continue betting using the same strategy that at the end of the week I will be profiting

you can't do that because craps depend on luck, the strategy for craps is simply you depositing money that you already know that when you lose you won't miss it and you play for fun. that's all you can do when you play those games that depend on luck

Regularly I used to spend some time playing dice.

also take care not to spend too many hours playing and accumulate stress, losses and in the end you will be addicted, one of the biggest problems with dice games and other games based on luck is that they get addicted fast, because how do people lose so much and spend so much time playing them, people start to believe that they can recoup the lost money if they spend more money and spend more time playing, and in the end they are addicted to the gamble.

I used to have limits on winning

I ask myself: since you play dice, a game that depends on luck, how many victories did you have per day to come out with a profit so that you put a limit on victory? because in my opinion, games that depend on luck only bring more defeats than victories, of course there are times when a person can win a lot in a single game, when the person is lucky

I used to do this when I was just starting on crypto gambling, if I remember correctly I was playing on pocket when I was using this strategy. anyway, having a "winning limit" didn't really work out for me since I either lose all the funds before reaching the winning limit or even when I reach it, I continued to gamble and eventually lost all the winnings and the initial deposit.

You never followed your previous strategy because you tends to increase your wager after your first targets of winning and is not advisable whenever you bet on game and it happens you win at that point distance yourself a bit if possible for 24 hours or 48hrs for you to get your real self. In every point of winning there is a high level of losing inas much your feeling can't be controlled at that moment don't enter any bet or stake with a higher wager.

It is quite certain that human needs are unsatisfiable, which means that even when we win, we will still want to win more and more, which is sometimes bad as we may end up losing everything. So to me, it is good to have both a gambling limit and a winning limit,  as these will act as a guide for us to know when to quit by not putting all our funds at risk, as we know that gambling may be addictive sometimes, but with self-control, we can gamble responsibly.
This is true, I feel dissatisfied with what I get from winning and continue to want to increase the bet by hoping that the win can be bigger than before, this is human greed that is never inevitable but what is certain is that wanting to be more is something that many people may feel, so it's your own responsibility how to control from winning or losing.

At the beginning when I won I always stopped playing for a moment, but as the game was often done by finding another victory, it continued to be played in the hope of being 2x bigger than the previous win, even this will never be obtained if we ourselves can do how to take The decision when you win is your limit.

Then we have the same bad experience after winning.  Grin That's called greed and it's not easy to stop once you feel lucky that day.
I had my winning limits before but honestly, I cannot follow them.
There will always be that urge to want more and then when it's a loss you will try chasing it until you reach the first winning amount that you had.
Same, it was also at dice where I did those mistakes. That's also one of the reasons I stopped playing that game or similar to it.

Gamblers will never be satisfied, so for me, I have no winning limits, unless I win the jackpot, that's the time that I will stop gambling for a while. Gambling is based on luck, so we can never predict how much we can win, I guess I'm not that so discipline not like professional gamblers, so it does not apply for me.

However, I'm more careful on losing because sometimes I lose more than what I can afford to lose, so it's just like losing control in gambling which is not good and if I won't be able to control myself, I'm afraid I will become homeless because of my stupidity.

Does anyone have used similar strategy on winning limits.
I have, and like you, I have exactly the same story 😂.
First, I got the idea of winning limits from my cryptocurrency trading activity when I set a limit to end trading for the day as soon as i make at least, $10 profit.
So when I decide to try out gambling, after gambling for awhile, I decide to use the same strategy, that is once I win a minimum of $20, I don't gamble again for the whole of that day until the next day, I was able to keep to this for like 3 or 4 days I could still remember, after that, greed overtook me, and on that faithful day, even after achieving my wining limit, I decided to keep playing, I kept winning but eventually, I started losing, and I thought the loss is for a while, but before I knew what was happening, I have gambled away all the funds on that account.

So to conclude, I must say that setting a winning limit is a very good gambling strategy,  but it can only work for a gambler if the gambler can be so disciplined to put his or her greed appetite in check at all time.

not only in winning but of course if how much i may lose in single event , i mean if there is time that I will gamble? I make sure that i will put limit in capital and how much i can consider winning to stand up from the table.

In these ways, i prevent my over playing because gambling needs to be limited and not completely infected by the event.
there are so much greedy to come if you continue playing while the truth is you are already a winner and don't try pushing your win limit because this will end of losing.

I have never had a high winning target because I know that I very rarely have the opportunity to win a lot in gambling. This makes me just want to enjoy my free time playing gambling and if I can win some money, it is a bonus. But maybe the winning money is not as much as the amount lost due to losing but that's still okay because I can win. If you have a winning target that you want to achieve, it will not be easy because you have to think about the losses that you can get while playing gambling.

I'm thinking more of a losing limit than a winning limit. Well, based on experience, I lose more than I win, so I have to control myself and I would take the opportunity to gamble more if I think I'm lucky. Although I believe in skilled-based gambling, however without luck we still cannot win, and since we are not lucky all the time, so trying to maximize the winning is the best strategy for me.

I have them as variable, not a fixed one, meaning it depends when I am happy with the amount,I withdraw the winnings but not before. This maybe wrong as most people are greedy and they do not stop until they lose them all but this is not the case for me.I have a starting bankroll which is 100 dollars, sometimes a bit less sometimes a bit more and I only withdraw if I have made a minimum of 100 other dollars in profit and not before,if I happen to win more than the 100 I keep playing them in higher bet until I win really big or until I lose them to the 100 dollars won, meaning I do not overdo it and I do not continue below the minimum target.I am talking about slot machines as they are the only game I play.

Winning limit is a must if you ask me, it is to control ourselves so we can enjoy the win for a while at least. I have my own winning limit, I used to have 3x of my initial bankroll. When I have a better luck because I won more than my winning limit, I'll cash out my initial bankroll + my 3x profit and continue playing with the rest. Anyway I think it is better if we call it as winning target, because if we use limit then it is like that we are limiting our own luck.  Smiley

My winning limit on other dice and other game of chance are when I triple my wager for that session, I usually play to get entertained but tripling what you wage on that session is already great and it makes you feel you're lucky so I got off withdraw my earnings and call it a day if at the back of your mind you're looking to make money then setting up your winning limit will do that, if you're looking to get entertained you can go on playing until you feel you had enough or when you lose all your winnings, but as you continue to play you will eventually lose everything, that's where the house play its edge.

Gambling have a limitation, and it's knowns everyone that gambling a spirit that is attached to it and when you start it, you can't go back again, people have different strategic way of playing gambling depending the one that will be favorable to them, the thing i understand with gambling is that gambling do not do with greediness, once you are thinking to bet with more than what you bet before no that their is every possibility for you to lose, so as gambler we supposed to have a particular limit we are suppose to ascertain in gambling.

Having limits(both winning and losing) is the most important way to keep yourself away from falling into gambling addiction.
Putting limits in your gambling behavior is the foundation of having self-control.
My winning limits are very low, because I don't want to get greedy. I know that greed is the path to failure.
Many players think that having wining/losing limits is a strategy that can help them make more money out of gambling. This is a delusion.
You could still lose your previous winnings, even when you limit your loses and winnings. At the end of the day, I believe that gambling is all about luck and you can't increase your luck by changing the way you gamble.

I don't usually set a winning limit, what I limit is the amount of money I put into my gambling plays. Now whatever money won from my sessions usually ends up being subtracted from the original amount I'm supposed to deposit for the next session, so it simply gets reduced if I ever have leftovers from my past sessions, which is nice since I can add a bit more to my savings. I don't usually withdraw my winnings, unless it was a pretty sizeable amount. Heck I even sometimes experience the same thing as OP, winning big then losing it later on in the same session. I don't particularly mind it though.

Not only in dice, it happens in all other games. It is because of continuous gambling after winning. I have some friends that also gamble. We gamble together on a gambling sites and we have experienced such in the past. If we win, we wanted to win more which later do bring losses. If you discipline yourself in a way you win little and wait till next time, it would be helpful.

I used to have limits on winning, if I was able to make the win I just quit it for the day. In such a way I used to gamble and once after the previous week campaign payment I continued till today. That is gambling. You can go for lower money to gamble and win, then go for higher amount and lose. I remember a friend telling me this, and I have also experienced it several times while gambling in the past until I reduced the way I am gambling and using just the right low amount of money that would let me have good mindset of gambling.

Well I think I have winning limit with sports betting in general. I generally play at mid week for European football and weekend for local Turkish football. If I win in both somehow, I pause for next time to spend and enjoy money I made. I think winning limits are healthy for people because you taste winning by spending some. You can retyrnu anytime you want, anyways, it doesn't really matter. This is my thought on limit argument at gambling.

I am also one of the fan of Dice . Dice has a very large limit which is very difficult to exceed so you can play dice as much as you like every day. But I think it is not right to pay too much attention to it because firstly you can make some profit from here but if you get too greedy and stay here for a long time your losses will be high and you will lose all your deposits here. so be carefull

It's why having limits for losing and winning is a good strategy so that you know that you're still in control regardless of what the outcome will be. If you've hit already your winning limits, it's the wise choice to just stop or set aside what your capital is for that day and continue with the winnings.

So whether you win or lose, you've already taken back your capital and you can walkaway only regretting that you've lost your winnings but your entire fund.

I have limits for both and if luck is with me, I secure some profits and my capital.

Does anyone have used similar strategy on winning limits.

Having winning limits might be very difficult especially if you are winning. But increasing your stake because you feel you would keep winning is the blunder most people make. I think one of the best things to do is to have a maximum amount you would bet and stick to it. Even if you have more funds to bet, always ensure that you don't bet above your limits.

Another strategy is to move your big winnings to another account immediately after the win and just keep the usual maximum funds in your gambling wallet. With that, the temptation to go above your limit is reduced to a large extent. Whether you are losing or winning it is important to have limits based on your gambling budget or plan. Although it might be difficult, walk out or log out immediately after you reach your limits.

I have betting limits. What you say about limiting the winnings because many times people think they are on a winning streak and keep betting, only to end up losing everything they have won and more. They don't realise that when they have won a good amount of money it has been despite the odds being against them, not because of a magical run or anything like that, and that winning against the odds doesn't take long to turn around.

If you limit your winnings, maybe you have a lucky break at the beginning and you don't want to leave and you've barely played, you want to entertain yourself. But in any case, setting limits and learning to respect them is fundamental for responsible gambling.
