I understood from this video that the whole contract is good, but there are minor bugs.

metamask installation is required to play, should mention it somewhere on the site
an interesting idea with the investment option implemented in the contract itself
I would love  a better explanation of your provably fair system
from your FAQ: Etherdice.io picks a secret random number and provides you with its hash
how does it pick a secret number, how is it hashed ,with what algorythm etc.
and while onchain dice game is cool and all, a dice game without autobet is a nono for me
and its impossible to create an onchain game with an autobet feature, sadly

You got a point here. We will update the site to create a pop up window to inform users that they need Metamask or Trust Wallet installed.

I think in terms of awareness, there are 2 types of blockchain users. Offchain and onchain.

We pick a secret number using a random function in the web3 library

It is hashed using web3 sha3 function

The secret number and blockhash is combined together to produce the random number. The blockhash is provided by the Ethereum network, hence it cannot be tampered.

Yes, autobet feature is not possible with onchain game due to limitation with the looping programming feature in smart contracts

In order to achieve autobet, there has to be some sort of centralization ( control of user funds ), atleast for Ethereum.

So the exchange is exclusively for ETH and DICE only.
I'm just curious why do we need to exchange our ETH into DICE if we want to play when it's easier to play with just ETH alone.
Comparing with other gambling sites, they have a token and we buy it to gamble but their token is also available in certain exchanges
where one can trade even if he is not gambling. I know the idea is simple, but I just want to know what if there are similar sites with similar system as yours.

Comment on the site - It's fast and easy to play.

You can play with ETH alone. Infact, that is the only way for you to interact with the DICE game

The exchange is there so that you can purchase DICE token which makes you a shareholder

If your not interested in being a shareholder, you can just play the DICE game without purchasing DICE tokens

A decentralized gaming platform on the Ethereum network that consist of a provably fair dice game and a exchange that allows you to purchase DICE tokens. As DICE token holder, you entitled to receive dividends from the exchange as well as the dice game.

Currently, 1 ETH = 6586.86 DICE

For example, I go for purchasing ~6586 DICE tokens and start playing "roll a dice". What will happen ? For my every roll, one token will be deducted from this 6586 DICE tokens if I set my base bet = 1 DICE and on the event of I am losing ? Or, am I missing out something completely ? Purchasing DICE tokens only for becoming a share holder of your house or for gambling as well ?

Do not have faucet ? I am new to any type of chrome extensions. I am not sure I will have metamask for the reason of testing your gambling house. I love the concept of decentralized exchange, but it enforces to breach my basic security measurements.

You dont need DICE tokens to play the DICE game. To interact with the DICE game, you need to purchase Ether from an exchange and load it into your wallet

Then, import your wallet into Metamask and your good to go

Holding DICE tokens make you a shareholder. House profits are paid out every quarter

We dont have a faucet

Most gambling sites holds your funds on your behalf. They could run away with your funds if they want to. Or if the site gets hack, you lose it all.

Infact, by using Metamask, you have complete control over your wallet, if anything, increases security.

Thank you for your feedback

Yes, Metamask is needed because all actions are performed using smart contracts

We have an FAQ page which provides further details : https://www.etherdice.io/faq.html

In an event that the site goes down, a user could even interact with the smart contract directly to pull out their funds

The funds are held by the smart contract, not the developers

Our smart contracts has already been audited : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAhUglB1pLPt5tOf4L_DbwA/videos

The website looks fine to me, 1% house edge is standard and provably fair casino is a good thing. Is the Metamask needed because all of the payments are performed by a smart contract? If so, you should definitely mention it in the original post, because not needing to hope that the casino will pay the winners is definitely a positive thing! I am also wondering if you could make the Terms of Service page with information about any additional fees, deposit and withdrawal policies, KYC requirement (if any) and other things that might matter should any disputes occur.
Good luck!

I have viewed the site it's quite very simple interphase and dark theme which is harmless to our eyes as a player.
As what I have noticed, we have owned our private key so it seems decentralized gambling site?

So, how much the value of 1 Ethereum to dice?

Is there auto roll mode of dice I didn't see on site?

Currently, 1 ETH = 6586.86 DICE

We dont have an auto roll mode but that will be implemented in the future

To purchase DICE tokens, head over to https://www.etherdice.io/exchange.html

Who owns the house? What are the house fees?

You own the house!

Every bet is deducted 1% in favour of the house (to be distributed among token holders in the exchange). By purchasing DICE tokens from the exchange, you will be entitle to receive a portion of the 1% house edge from the dice game. The percentage you received depends on the amount of tokens held by you divided by the total tokens in the exchange.

The house profits are paid out on a quarterly basis. The house profits will be distributed among token holders in the exchange via the Reinvestment contract.

The developer/administrator cannot divert the funds to their own wallet address as the addresses are hardcoded in the smart contract. The only way for the developer/administrator to profit is to be a token holder, just like you.
