Further research revealed that the pay table I was using was the very opposite of generous, even though its high pay for Flush and Straight provided the illusion that it was an overgenerous pay table. The reason was that the payout was the same for 3 of a kind as it was for 2 pair.

I moved to the more common "full pay" payout, which pays 3 of a kind more than 2 pair.

Awesome thanks! Will go play in a little while and try it out. Yeah youre right the high paying top end was an illusion that it was over generous when in fact you were right it was quite the opposite.

Hi thanks for the quick response! Thanks for fixing the double down feature I will have to try it out again.

I ran the numbers and I didn't realize just how bad the paytable hurts you for the 3 of a kind only paying 2:1 instead of the standard 3:1 It greatly reduces the payback percentage. Currently as your paytable sits the payback percentage is 94.32% Thats not very good! In my opinion it could use a little tweaking and paying the 3 of a kind 3:1 and altering the higher payouts  Smiley You can use a video poker calculator like the one I found here:

The double or nothing feature is not 50/50 it is favored to the house since if you push the dealers card you lose! This is not how most casino double or nothing features work. If you tie the dealers card it is a push. For that reason I won't be playing that feature anymore. Do not use the double down feature until this is fixed.

I just fixed it. Tongue

Also Im not sure how you are able to offer that paytable and the house makes money long-term unless you are rigging the game. I have never seen such a generous paytable in any casino.

I simply copied the pay-table from the JacksUp game at BitcoinGamer.com, under the assumption that the other site wouldn't have deployed an insane pay-table. Perhaps that was a foolish move on my part that will lead to disaster. I will have to do more research on that. But the game isn't rigged.

If it seems to good to be true then it probably is. The royal flush is 1000:1 on a one credit bet most typically in a casino it is 250:1 unless you are playing max credits then it pays 800:1 here there is no reason to max bet unless you want to risk more credits.
Straight flush is 100:1 on one credit bet typically this only pays 50:1
4 of a kind is 30:1 typically this is 25:1 on a jacks or better machine
full house 9:1 this is at the high end but you can find these rarely in casinos
flush 6:1 same as above.

The only place where you get less than casino payouts is three of a kind normally that pays 3:1 here it pays 2:1

Im not a math person but I believe this is paying out slightly over 100% long term and unless you got it rigged you are going to get crushed. Someone would have to run the numbers to get an exact percentage.

A little googling and it seems your payout is pretty standard... and also that video poker have a very low house edge too... Well... I guess it's my fault that I lost all the money then haha

Nice. It's fun.. But I think the payout, compare to the odds, really sucks.
Especially for the rare hands.
(Sorry if this rate is standard... dunno much about it)

I have created a beautiful video poker game for the Bitcoin community.

I have fixed some payout issues that were brought up by members of this forum.

With TOR:

     http://ggzkvrlfneb7cqae.onion/

Without TOR:

    https://ggzkvrlfneb7cqae.tor2web.org/

Playing it is absolutely straightforward, unlike some of the other games being presented in this forum.

Cash-outs are processed after your deposit has 6 confirmations.

If this game is popular enough, I will create additional games.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

For those who have never played video poker, I will provide a description:

First, you place a bet (.01 - .05 BTC), and then you receive 5 cards. Your goal, as in 5-card draw poker, is to hold the right cards so you end up with the best possible hand. If you end up with at least a pair of jacks, you win!

Whenever you win a hand, you will be given the option to play Double or Nothing, a game in which you pick a card that is higher than the dealer's card. If you win, you can either collect double your original winnings, or play another round of Double or Nothing to win even more.
